Absolute Home & Garden

Referred me to a crooked contractor (Land Designs by Colton), then sent a cryptic message backing the contractor when I tried to warn him about my experience. Oh, and some of the folks giving him the rave reviews here might be fake. Bad eggs.

I wanted to take time to highlight the exceptional experience I had with John. John came to our home to do a thorough walkthrough of our front and back yards. We had initial thoughts of a xeriscape but John helped us understand other options available, taking into account our end goal and budget. John followed up the next day with a proposal and each day after that we've been in close communication on the project. I can't recommend John enough for his professionalism and responsiveness.

There are not enough great things to say about everyone at Absolute Home and Garden. Carolyn, Tom, and Ryan exceeded all of our expectations and transferred our front and back yard into something we couldn't even imagine was possible. They were quick to provide us an estimate and always kept great communication throughout the project. Ryan and Carolyn initially visited the house to create our estimate and really worked with our budget to maximize it. Carolyn visited the house several times before starting the project to get our input and give us some ideas for the landscaping.

She also stopped in several times throughout the project to check the progress and provided me with texts or calls to keep me informed. They went above and beyond and helped us with our special requests and incorporated our own vision with theirs. Tom was very informative and patient with our many questions. Tom and his crew were so positive and excited to see the yard shaping up.

Our yard was a disaster before Absolute Home and Garden stepped in and turned it what it is. We have already received compliments on the front yard as random people walk by. It was truly a pleasure working with them and can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for their landscape needs. Thank you again, Carolyn, Tom, and Ryan!

Cannot say enough about Ryan, Tom and their crew. We interviewed and received estimates from numerous other landscape companies for our backyard. Ryan was by far the most diligent and knowledgeable. He was easy to communicate with and always available for questions. He was open and honest about our project and worked with us to design a perfect backyard within our budget. Tom and the work crew built an amazing stamped patio and natural gas fire pit. They were always super communicative, respectful and helpful while they were at the house. Cannot recommend these guys enough for any project large or small.

My husband Chris and I contacted Absolute Home and Garden about doing landscape and other work (including adding a deck) to our small outdoor space. Absolute Home and Garden came out to our new home in Denver in March or April 2017 (can't remember the exact date) to evaluate our space and talk to us about what we wanted to have done. The guy who came out was very nice and seemed really knowledgeable.

After he took notes about what we wanted and did a bunch of measurements, he left and said someone from the company would get back to us with an estimate and renderings. No one ever got back to us. We contacted the guy who we met with and asked him when we could expect the estimate. He told us he thought we should have already received it. We told him that we had not received anything.

He said he would find out what was going on and get back to us. He never did and we never received our estimate. I'm not sure who would run a business this way, but oh well. I guess they don't need our business, which is fine. I understand being too busy, but to not get back to a perspective customer who reached out and took time to meet with them is downright rude.

We will take our business elsewhere. I'm not very pleased that we wasted our time with them though (when we met with them, we hadn't moved into our home yet so we drove almost two hours from where we were living to meet with them).

If you are in the market for landscaping services from a knowledgeable, creative, professional and empathetic company, then this is the company for you! Our yard was a neglected mess, and Ryan offered creative and budget-friendly solutions to transform it into a beautiful and inviting space. He helped us design our project and built a retaining wall (filling in an unsightly ditch), a cedar fence, and a stamped concrete patio. Ryan and his team were courteous, kind, and professional at all times.

They went above and beyond to make sure that we understood the work being done and the cost involved. They worked with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted-Tom even built us a brand new gate! Their work ethic, integrity, and quality of work were outstanding. I am incredibly impressed with Absolute Home and Garden, and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I wish I could give this company 10 stars. We found them on Yelp.so you never know.but they had great reviews so we decided to give them a shot. Ryan - the Owner - was extremely accommodating. We had never done any professional landscaping and had no idea what to expect. Ryan talked us through the whole process explaining our options and taking the time to understand our budget.

We needed a specific draining system that was just not in the budget at all. Ryan knew this would be a critical step and worked with us to come up with a solution so that we were able to get this done. He checked in frequently and communicated the timeline of the project consistently. Our landscapers were amazing! We worked with Tom and Danny - two of the most considerate, thoughtful, and hardworking gentleman we could have asked for.

They were here for about a week and half. They worked so hard and made sure to communicate with me regularly. Our yard is finally a place that we can relax and is now a beautiful extension of our home. I can't thank them enough. In fact, two of my neighbors saw their work on our yard and are planning on using them next spring. Again, wonderful team, an owner who is customer centric, and work that speaks for itself. Thank you guys for all of your very hard work.we love it!

Extremely professional and responsive. Ryan and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. If you're looking to eliminate the migraines of dealing with landscapers-these are your guys.

Although the small job I was needing done wasn't the right fit for Absolute Home & Garden, Ryan took the time to advise me of a cost effective way to get the job done. I was really appreciative that even though he was not earning my business, he was kind enough to take the time to help me.

I met Ryan when randomly searching online. As with any impersonal introduction, you go in nervous and almost waiting for the other shoe to drop. However, I have found his professionalism and work ethic impressive. I have been a business owner since I was 12 years old. Throughout my career I've relied on ethics and standards of excellence taught to me by my grandfather.which basically creates unrealistic expectations of other businesses.

Even still, Absolute Home and Garden / Xmas Lights and Ryan have met those expectations. I've have first-hand proof that this owner works around the clock and makes himself readily available. He truly cares about his reputation and quality of work / service. Highly recommend.

Top Notch Company- I'm a realtor here in Denver. When I close a home for a client I always suggest Absolute Home & Garden for remodeling and landscape design needs. They have excellent follow through and their designs are very impressive. I had them add a high water efficient irrigation system to my home last summer and I couldn't believe how much money I saved on my water bill compared to watering it myself.

Ryan and his team were great to work with. We had a very specific modern landscape and fence design in mind and AHG managed the entire project from start to finish with excellent results. We immediately received numerous compliments on the improvement in curb appeal from neighbors. Unfortunately we had to move a short time later, but I believe Ryan's work was instrumental in helping us receive an offer over asking on the very first day we listed our home for sale. Thanks to Ryan and his entire crew for all their hard work.

Ryan and his team have now done my front and back landscaping. There is no one else I would go to for any outdoor needs. The designs have matched exactly what I wanted even better than I expected! The team is efficient and professional. I can't say enough good things!

It's hard to find a trustworthy businesses that keeps the customers interests in mind. Ryan made amazing suggestions and planned out the exact new backyard that I want, keeping my budget in mind! Absolutely Fantastic!

Our normal handyman was out so we were looking for someone to do a sprinkler blowout. Ryan, was very rude and said they don't do it past November 1st and only for regular clients since there is no money in it. As a commercial business, we are always keeping up with vendors who offer good services since we like to remain competitive. I can say that no business of ours will ever go to Absolute Home and Garden.

Absolute Home & Garden were an absolute pleasure to work with. no pun. I had to get my rental home in Denver remodeled so my tenents will have to put minimal effort in to maintain it. They recommended xeriscaping my front yard and putting an irrigation system in the back with timers and additional drip system. They did everything remotely for me including full layout of the property and easy to see diagrams of what the project would look like.

They made it so easy and hassle free. I loved the pictures they sent and my new tenants love their new home. Thank you so much for your guidance and help throughout the whole process. Ryan and his team just finished creating my dream backyard. From start to finish the team from AHG was professional and so helpful in making this huge undertaking as user friendly as possible. They were respectful of my budget and created a plan that was easy to adjust based on my budget needs. Once the actual work started the team was always polite and I felt so comfortable with everyone and all of the guys worked hard enough to get a 7 day job done a day early. I will be using AHG for all my future needs. My backyard is absolutely beautiful and more than I imagined it could be.

I had a weed filled garden they replaced with fabric and rock. It now looks amazing! They were reasonably priced (not bargain basement but within 10%) and they did it quickly and excellently. No hesitation to recommend these folks, 5 stars.
