Browne & Associates

I tried calling Browne and Associates in late fall of last year. Receptionist stated someone from the office would call me. Unfortunately, no one ever called me. I chalked that experience up to being late in the year. I tried calling a couple weeks ago, and the receptionist again stated that someone would call me. I have not heard back to date. I had a substantial landscape project that needed to be done, and this company has ignored me twice already.

I will not be using this company again. I have a recommendation for the owner. If you are to busy, tell your receptionist to state you are not accepting clients instead of misleading potential customers that you will call them back. I will definitely pass on to other people I know that this company did not even have the courtesy to call back. It is sad that a company does not even have the decency to return a call to let me know either way.

Wow is all we can say! Ben Browne and his ENTIRE team was amazing to work with. We started the design process months before construction started and asked Ben to design and create a beautiful outdoor space for our (large) family to enjoy year-round. He delivered that and so much more. His design went above and beyond and is so different from all of the other "typical" Colorado outdoor spaces.

He completely changed the look of both the front and back of our house with hardscape, landscape, lighting, etc and really listened to what we wanted, needed, and our style preferences. His team of sub-contractors were amazing. Rafa, who was on-site everyday, was wonderful to be around and it was clear that every single person who was working on our project really cared about doing the best job possible. Anytime we asked for a change or a problem to be solved, it was seamless and easy.

If we asked Ben about a design choice, he took us through the "why" - we trusted him implicitly and don't regret that for a moment! I will recommend Ben and his team to everyone I know and wish there was another project we needed him to do!

We've recently finished our work with Ben and I felt compelled to do something I never do, write a review! My wife and I recently built a home and have dealt with no less than twenty sub-contractors, Ben being at the top of the list. Ben designed a perfect front and back yard for us from scratch in Washington Park with a beautiful landscape wall, back patio, trees, bushes, shrubs, and a pool.

We were given drawings of many different options with detailed explanations helping guide us toward the perfect yard. Everything was not perfect because no construction job is but the difference that we noticed with Ben versus other subcontractors was Ben fixed things no questions asked or even came to us explaining that something needed to be fixed and why.

He takes pride in his jobs which is very rare given the amount work that's around town right now. I've noticed other reviews talk about "big jobs" or "arrogance" which I feel should be addressed. We decided most everything on our project but when there were certain areas where he thought we were making the "wrong" decision he simply gave us his honest opinion on what he thought and it was great.

Someone working in construction who's honest? Sign me up! We did plenty of due diligence in terms of price vs results, we were charged a fair price for the work that's been done and what we've been left with is a yard that's no less than stunning. Highly recommended! Thanks Ben!

An EXCEPTIONAL Final Product and Experience from Start to Finish! We just finished an extensive landscape and pool installation project with Ben Browne and his team.and we are DELIGHTED! Ben started by doing a fantastic design. I am so happy with how my backyard turned out! Ben and his crew came in and were very professional and got the job done on time and for the original price he quoted me. I will definitely recommend Browne and Associates to my neighbors and friends!

I'm a former client of Brown & Associates, and like Kate, I had a terrible customer service experience with Ben Browne. For some reason, he's a bit arrogant and speaks of only doing big jobs. After getting some work done, he dismissed us after we needed some assistance with more work. His customer service is amongst the worst I've received in any industry, and his bottom line is all about the money so he can indulge in his extra-curricular activities (via his admittance). His integrity is absent, but if you're willing to spend the money, he'll be willing to take it. I would not recommend this company.

Ben and his team helped us dream up and install a gorgeous custom landscape design last summer for our new home. Ben was very intentional about what plantings would be appropriate given the design/style of the house, and it turned out beautifully. The design was very thoughtful and the team was very skilled and contentious. They have gone above and beyond our expectations and we are incredibly grateful. One year in, everything looks great and we anticipate that as our garden matures, it will only look better!

We recently completed the construction of a new home and wanted to be sure we found a landscaper that could not only provide quality work, but also provide great value. We found both in Brown & Associates. Ben Brown came highly recommended by several other home owners both in and outside of our community. We found Brown & Associates pricing to be very fair, the quality of the work outstanding and the project was completed on time and within our budget. We interviewed several landscape designers and selected Ben as he seemed easy to work with. We had a rotting deck and flooding issues into our basement that needed to be addressed. After several meetings, however, it became clear he didn't seem to be listening/attentive, missing design features (e.g. planning shrubs where window wells are), ignoring requests (we don't care what you do, but please remove the pond).

It would be months between meetings (we had 2) and the subsequent design, and it was only after several repeated emails from us checking in before we'd get a response. After a year and a half, we still didn't have a design we were ready to sign off on, and Ben told us it was because he had gotten some other big jobs in the meantime. (We had a 3/4-acre redesign so not so small!). Ben did return a portion of our money and provided us with the editable file so we could go somewhere else, but frustrating that we are over a year into it and now have to find a new landscape designer.

Ben and his team are awesome. They have very creative ideas and get the job done right. They have helped me on numerous properties I have owned over the years and never fail to make our outdoor spaces look incredible. If you are looking for a company that can do the job right, add lasting equity to your home, and make it look amazing, Browne and Associates is your best bet.

We met with Ben on a snowy April day and tried to articulate our idea for an outdoor space. As we sat at at our kitchen table looking out at the bare trees and snow-covered ground, Ben immediately grasped our vision and ran with it. He took our thoughts and flushed out a plan that exceeded our expectations - but not our budget.

We began our extensive back yard project in the middle of last winter. Ben Browne's design was well planned and truly spectacular. It included gardens, a water feature, fire pit, extensive walks and courtyards. Hundreds of new plants, shrubs and trees were installed as we are particularly fond of the rose and boxwood gardens.

We recently bought a nice home with a horribly executed patio. After any number of discussions with unimpressive contractors and so-called experts, we met with Ben Browne of Browne & Associates, and within minutes it was clear we were speaking the same language.

My husband and I started working on a backyard project design last spring. It was a long drawn out process with other landscaping companies, until we heard about Ben Browne and Associates. We called Ben with the design plan and layout that we envisioned for a backyard stone-covered hot tub, covered flagstone patio, and surrounding stone walls with lighting.

Browne and Associates did a great job executing to my existing landscaping plan. The demolition went smoothly and they were careful with the existing landscape. The patio, seating wall, and fire pit they created are lovely. They also reshaped my landscape borders, added edging and moved sprinkler heads.

A friend recommended this landscaper as I was preparing for my summer party and I must say I was very satisfied with the work done to my yard. They designed and installed new vegetation ranging from exotic flowers to lush green bushes but the real hit at my party was my outdoor kitchen and fireplace.
