At the end of 2011, after interviewing several contractors for a potential remodel of our kitchen, bathroom and den, we contracted with Better Builders for the job. At that time Pete B. was the foreman for our project. They do exquisite work. Pete got to know our tastes and did extra touches. For example, we preferred the brushed nickel finish and Pete went the extra mile, using a wire scour to put that same finish on the shower curtain rod when it did not come in the finish we preferred. The work was finished in May 2012. The project still looks great and is holding up wonderfully after almost 10 years.

We worked with Better Builders to add an addition to our 100+ year old home. It was a unique project and BB worked with us to determine a creative solution that seamlessly fits with the existing home. The COVID-19 pandemic hit mid-way through our project. BB was great at keeping us up-to-date with timing and making sure we were comfortable in the home while work was paused and could comfortably work from home when work continued. Highly recommended.

Five years later, still perfect. My family had Better Builders do an addition to our main floor, a main floor reconfiguration and a basement remodel to our house. The house was built in the 1950's with 3 small bedrooms, 3 small closets, and a main floor full bath. The laundry was inconveniently located in the basement. The final result is our main floor now has a laundry room, the original full bathroom, two good sized bedrooms with big closets, and a master bedroom with en suite.
Our daylight basement was finished for easy conversion to a legal ADU. The whole process was smooth. They stayed on budget and schedule. No gotcha's. Everyone was professional and courteous.

They have helped us on two projects. A mantel in the basement and a SHED. Great finished products. Some issues with the SHED but it all worked out and we are quit proud of it fitting in a small space with rigid city rules etc. Our next project is always with Better Builders. Oh, and twice asked them to help with small stuff and they stopped by that day to look and provided guidance. This team is an A+ team.

We needed a major renovation on the exterior of our home; we bought the house knowing the decks and pool a lot of work. We also wanted to add a stand alone art studio. Better Builders gave us a clear estimate and timeline for all the work. They worked with to make sure we understood everything that needed to be done, provided options and worked with us to create truly amazing renovation. Their team was truly professional. Better Builders was transparent in their approach, which I really appreciated. In the past I have sometimes felt like contractors size you up to see how much work they can get out of you but this was absolutely not the case with Better Builders. They were up front about my options and expected costs. They then completed the work with great professionalism but also friendliness, as my wife and kids felt very comfortable with them around our home. I can't recommend this business enough.

Better Builders just finished structural work, kitchen/bathroom updates & added a covered deck for our home. The structural issues were tricky & three other construction companies had not been able to find a solution. Better Builders found an absolutely eloquent solution of vaulted ceilings that kept the structural wooden rafters exposed. Our house has truely been transformed!
The team went out of their way to ensure our input was incorporated throughout the process and the overall cost was very reasonable. I could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend them!
