Had work done with this company in March of 2015 was very happy with their work, so when I purchased my new location I was hoping to get that same service. unfortunately the receptionist is in over her head and doesn't know how to write down a phone number, schedule an appointment or call a customer back. after 3 weeks of trying to get an appointment, I gave up. It's unfortunate. The kicker. when I told her about my disappointment she shrugged it of like nothing? When did passing up on 16k jobs become a thing?

This company is the best! You can really tell that they take their work seriously. I called them to install some sky lights and in two days they were already done! The best thing is that they listened to every word i said and asked questions based on every detail of how i wanted it and when they were done, the whole thing was perfect. They are really efficient and trustful. You can really tell that this is the best company for whatever job.

Great Service! I called RR glass and windows to repair a door in our office suite, downtown Chicago. Chris Blanco came out the next day and was able to help us repair the door that same day! He was friendly and professional. Chris was the third person I called to fix the door. The other companies I called were unable to help. Thanks, Chris! You're the best!

I just hired R & R Windows (which is now called IgZakt Windows) to clean, tighten, adjust, and lubricate my windows which were very hard to open. The crew that came did their best to do the work. I was not completely satisfied so Rory, the owner, came and remedied the situation. I was very pleased that he followed up and completed the job to my satisfaction. carol

2 days for a call back! Then after the appointment was set no one came! I had to call to see if the guy was coming. The receptionist didn't know what happened and then called me back saying the guy had an emergency and he would call me back. 2 weeks later and he still hasn't called. Unprofessional and not courteous at all.

This Company has been HORRIBLE! Window in condo broke at 9:15 a.m.on Monday morning. Freddy the estimator did not arrive until 5:15 PM. He came in for 5 seconds to take the measurements of the shattered window. He left a card while running out. I asked when it would be fixed, he said 2 to 3 days after the deposit was paid. So the deposit was paid Tuesday afternoon, no word, Wednesday is here, no word.

They called today to advise that they would not be able to call and schedule me until tomorrow, and nobody would be able to come out until next week to install the window. What kind of glass company is this? Do they not know that a window broken on the 23rd floor of a condo is serious? They obviously do not care about their jobs or the company they work for. I do not recommend this company!

After a break-in, I needed an emergency board-up and window repair on a Friday night. Freddy came out to investigate the situation, left to purchase materials, and boarded up my window. He also took my broken window with him to fix and came back to install it that Monday night. Efficient service, cost-effective, and great peace of mind. Highly recommended.

I recently replace the entire windows at my house total of 21 windows. My current windows were terrible with so much air leaking. So, considering winter is coming up, I thought why not install the windows now to save on the heat. R & R Glass Windows staff has great knowledge and patience. The sales representative Freddy spend a few hours explaining the various window options available and which type of windows are best. All in all I was very satisfied with their work. Oh their prices are great!

Our commercial grade glass door with an aluminum frame broke and needed a new hinge. Not many door companies can service such a request. I was referred by a door company that couldn't do the job. Before I called R&R, I read all five 1 star reviews. But, decided to give them a chance. In short: Everyone I interacted with was polite and respectful, including Freddy.

My hinge was properly replaced in a timely manner. Two things held me back from giving them that last star: (1) They did not call me back the same day I called them, even though the kind lady I spoke with promised they would. But on the flip side, I got a call from Freddy early the next day and he came by to give me an estimate around noon that day. (2) The technician did not have a receipt for my cash payment after he completed the job.

But he gave me no trouble and didn't take the money, since he couldn't offer me a receipt. He came back a few days later with a receipt and collected then. P.S. I talked to Freddy about his bad reputation here on Yelp. And he had no idea. I suggested to him that he try to reply to some of the reviews and most importantly call people back in a timely fashion.

He offered me a satisfactory explanation for his slower response times (which I prefer not to mention here). He took the constructive criticism very well and even jotted down notes as I told him some of these things. I would definitely call Freddy for my next door/window project.

I honestly don't know how their window work is because THE ESTIMATE GUY NEVER SHOWED UP! I called to make an estimate appointment and the girl who answered the phone gave me the estimate guy, Freddy's number and told me i would have to call him. I left a message for him and he never called me back. Second time i told the girl she should call him and remind him that he never called me back the first time.

Finally a few days later he called be back and we made an appointment for this morning. No show. Awesome. Don't waste your time. Looks like from these reviews this has happened to other people.

Miserable. A kid broke one of our windows with a pellet gun on a Friday night so we called R&R Glass on Saturday. They have a contact for emergencies, Freddy, so we called that number and he picked up right away. We were able to schedule an appointment for Monday for someone to come out in the morning - definitely a great start. Monday morning, afternoon, and night came and went.

We called in the evening and he rescheduled for Thursday. Same deal - no show. Don't waste your time with these guys. There are too many good companies out there happy to help.

Website says no job too small, but when I called about fixing a storm window on my condo they just said no. Wouldn't even give me a reference for someone who does do such a thing. The estimator seemed somewhat put out that I would even ask.

My dog broke my big living room window this morning. I was in a state of quiet rage when I started looking for someone to come out and fix it. My biggest fears were: it would take forever & that it would cost a fortune! Well, for once I got lucky. Rory Hammitt from R&R Window Repair came in, gave me a reasonable quote, took the frame out, and came back 3 hours later, as promised (!) with a new & better glass in the frame, installed it in less than 10 minutes and was on his way!

He was very friendly and straightforward. I highly recommend him and his company. I'll be using them when we have to do other repairs or improvements to our little condo.
