Dimond Plumbing & Heating Co. was founded in 1910 when many families and businesses were relocating to the east bay after the 1906 earthquake. Oakland's "DIMOND DISTRICT" was home and for many years Dimond Plumbing & Heating was located on the corner of MacArthur Blvd. and Coolidge Ave. Early in the century Dimond Plumbing & Heating did much of the plumbing for the Alameda County Building and The University of California - Berkeley.

In addition to the commercial and industrial work Dimond Plumbing & Heating Co. continued to earn the reputation for quality and honesty with the residents of Oakland and the entire east bay community.

Mike installed a new Williams Top Vent wall Furnace. He did a great job. He arrived on time. He knew exactly what to do. Install the Furnace in a timely manner, Left no mess, and at a very fare price. The next time I need any pluming or heating work to be done I will call Diamond Plumbing and Heating. That's for sure. Mike texted me when he was on the way over then gave me a great estimate, dashed out to a local hardware store to get a new faucet for my kitchen and put it in without leaks or problems. He's fantastic and we'll be back to do my tub valves.

I just had a great experience with Dimond Plumbing when my water heater made loud noises and scared me half to death. Mike Patrick came out right away, diagnosed the problem and gave me really helpful, valuable info. What a good guy! Turns out I had an inferior brand of water heater, which had been incorrectly installed. Not a good idea to get a cheap water heater and have your handyman install it. Some things need to be done by professionals. So glad I know about Dimond!

I phoned the San Leandro office. I got an answering machine. I left a message on the voice-mail. The next morning Mike called me back to set up an appointment for my repair work. (my kitchen drain pipes were clogged and leaking water). Mike arrived on the day and time we agreed to. He was very polite and professional. After he completed the repair work on my kitchen sink pipes, I was soooooo impressed by his workmanship.

All new pipes and great flow of the water through them. and the price of the job was cheaper than I expected. I give DIMOND PLUMBING AND HEATING COMPANY five stars and I recommend them for your plumbing needs. (Harold).
