Beware anyone viewing this review they took my money and wouldn't return it because I found out that the house is 1.4 miles from a landfill. They didn't disclosure this to me. One day I smelled this horrible smell and asked where it was coming from and that is when I found out. I will file a complaint and pursue getting my money back in any way I can.
I wish to update my review. It is only right that I correct, the response of this builder. They did refund my money and released me too move on. I thank God that they had the integrity and professional fortitude to do what they did.

HAD TO PUT 5 STARS OR ELSE THE MONEY THEY PAY TO KEEP THE BAD REVIEWS OFF WOULD BE DOING ITS JOB. :-) Poor quality of homes, poor service. Please look into a better builder, for your own sake. If I may elaborate, this company has no ethnic for CONSISTENCY. PLEASE DRIVE THRU THIS SUBDIVISION AND LOOK AT THE HOMES. Feature alone on the outside are different as in Roof Vents.
Some houses have 3 others have 4. YOU'RE BUILDING THE SAME EXACTLY HOUSE OVER AND OVER. HOW CAN YOU NOT CHECK YOUR WORK TO DELIVER THE SAME QUALITY TO EVERY CLIENT? When they build the front with brick, they put OSB SHEATHING up for the brick ties to hold the brick up. That's the only place your home is getting wrapped in SHEATHING (which acts as a sound barrier and helps insulate your home better).
That means you'll hear every am I MEAN EVERY SINGLE PLANE THAT'S FLYING OVER IN THIS AREA! They have another subdivision on T C JESTER called Liberty North and they do not look like any of these homes yet they are the same. They have more brick and added features which doesn't make a difference when your not delivering a quality product. LOTS of home owners that have 2 story homes are upset about not having thermostats DOWNSTAIRS.
They say they are a located on the 2ND floor, so you have to run up and down the stairs to change your comfort level. But when your at the model they have it on the 1st floor and 2nd. THESE ARE COOKIE CUTTER HOMES AS IS AND THE LACK OF QUALITY THEY ARE BUILT WITH MAKES THEM SUCK EVEN MORE.YOU'LL BE LUCKY TO GET 9 YEARS OUT OF THE HOME AND THE BUILDER WILL BE LONG GONE. SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY. D R HORTON OR THE BALMORAL COMMUNITY IS NOT FAR FROM HERE. RUN
