I had tremendous service at a home in Pickens and I am living in Easley for over 5 years and their service has been great. Today, a Sat, Mike took care of not having heat and he remembers working on my home in Pickens. Thank you to Gunter for being here. Services: Heating system repair, A/C system maintenance

First of all the receptionist isn't very pleasant at all. They sent someone out to look at our AC Unit because it was blowing warm air. After he "fixed" it and charged us $260, the AC unit performed even worse-blowing out warmer air. So we called them again on a Sunday and the guy on call said that he would have to charge us an additional $165 just to come out and look at our AC.
This guy actually asked to come in and look at the main unit in the attic, something that the first guy never did. He also said that out AC had no Freon in it at all. The first repair guy supposedly put Freon in our AC unit. Then he tells us we need a part that has to be ordered. Now keep in mind the original repair guy charged us $260 for "servicing" our AC. I'm seriously considering legal action against this business if they don't attempt to make things right.

Rude phone person. First tech came out and stated it had to be a bad termostat as he could find nothing else wrong. Installed new termostat and no luck. Another tech came out and said their was a leak and I would have to replace my whole HVAC system. I asked for cost and he said he'd "have to run it past the big guy." I never heard back. Over all disappointing experience. I plan to charge back my service call as they did absolutely nothing, and never followed up.

I called to schedule service for a leak and was told a technician would be there the following day. I called the next day and was assured that they would be there by the end of business that day. Nobody arrived and I did not hear back. I called Precision Heating and Air the next morning and they had a technician there by 3pm. One week later a technician called from Gunter to schedule a visit and I politely declined. I would not recommend Gunter

Not BBB accredited and incompetent. They really deserve 0 stars. I called them to repair a central air unit for a rental home before Memorial Day weekend. The tech went to the home and put in freon, and told the tenant "I hope nothing else is wrong with it, " and left. Hours later, the air was blowing hot again. The tenant and her pet had to endure 85-plus degree heat in the house over the weekend and the Monday holiday.
I called another company that went Tuesday and they said they don't know how Gunter missed that the motor was bad. If Gunter had even checked the barrings, they would have been able to tell within a minute that the motor was hot, squealing like the barring was dry, and then not spinning. The secretary said she'd have the service manager call me because I requested a partial refund. I haven't gotten a call yet.
