I Have had my door repaired multiple times by Ziegler and have had two doors installed highly recommend Ziegler also the person that installed my door was professional and very kind Highly recommend asking for the Installment Person by the name of Oscar

My very expensive "custom" wood garage door has turned out to be a nightmare and horrible quality. It is nothing like the picture promised Despite trying to have it remedied, less than year after installation the door looks horrible, the finish is destroyed and the wood is becoming damaged. Very disappointed that I spent so much money.

I called them for a repair. They didn't do the repair, left the springs unadjusted. Tried to install the wrong circuit board, said it wouldn't work, and then sell me an additional part.

Outstanding and most importantly honest customer service/support from Adriana. She quickly responded via text and then by phone multiple times as we've had issues with our garage door. In both cases she helped trouble shoot and then provided instructions on how to fix our issues. Most recently, she gave us advice preventing us from being scammed by a repair contractor sent by our home warranty company. A+++

Avoid these guys at all costs. First, they no showed on an installation date yesterday, and wasted my day. They then said they would arrive today at 9:00. Didn't arrive until 1:00. Wasted another morning. The installers arrived and spoke NO English, and I believe they were just hired as installers and didn't actually work for the company. We asked if they could program our two cars, and they drove off! Again, avoid these guys

This company is run by thieves. Run from them. Don't even give them a shot. They quoted us $9500 to install driveway gate motors and got a $4800 deposit just because they spent one hour at the job site. It's against state license board rules to take a deposit for more than $1000 but they did. Shame on me. This was two years ago and they have not done the work or delivered any products.

We have called them no less then 15 times. No response from their owner Byron. No response from the person on the company voicemail. Their sales person Brian answers his phone and says he lets the owner know we need to get our project scheduled but there is never a return call. I even went to then to shop to see what was going on. One of the workers let me in, door was locked.

No one else was there. Sales person Brian showed up and texted his boss Brian who then never contacted us as usual. So there you have it. Please don't support these guys. It's basically criminal what they are doing. Next stop is Small Claims court.

Ordered 2 garage doors and 2 gates. Bryan did a great job of helping us pick out the wood we wanted and getting them constructed to the custom design. The crew that did the installation was awesome, very polite, responsive to requests, and cared about getting the details right. Many neighbors have given compliments on the new doors since the installation.

We recently hired Ziegler doors to do a large project for us in Huntington Beach. The project included a double garage door, a single garage door, two gates, and special stained wood to do a custom fence. As a general contractor I am always looking for good reliable subcontractors. Not only did Ziegler come through for us, they went over and above.

Their design and execution was perfect. Sales staff and management worked hand-in-hand with us to make sure that the project was delivered in a timely manner and at a fair price. I will use them again on other projects. I will post pictures as soon as the House is fully completed.

Buyer beware! If I could give them a zero I would. They will tell you everything you want to hear and promises you the world but once they get your deposit that will all stop. They took my deposit on September 11, 2019 they promised the door in five weeks in November they said the door was back ordered. This was after two months of constant calling emailing and text messaging and there was no response when they finally got back to me they said the door was back ordered.

Later we find out that the door is not back order that they did not even order the door until December 3 2019. When the door finally arrive the glass panels were on the wrong side also it wasn't even the correct door and it was the wrong color. It was some cheap door that didn't even match the one in our contract! They did finally get this door right however the energy and effort was exhausting.

Horrible customer service. Missed appointments and hard to reach anyone. Wanted me to pay them cash under the table so they could lump it into a larger order. Just felt like a shady company. So glad we didn't use them after reading other reviews of this company.

We have three very beautiful Ziegler doors, which we're very happy with. Installed in 2012 and refinished twice. The last time was 10/18, and in May we noticed the finish was peeling off. I contacted the company in early June 2019, and am still trying to get them to come out and fix an inadequate refinishing job in late August 2019. Adriana is supposed to be their customer service person, but she doesn't return calls.

Very disappointing because they make beautiful doors, and we were hoping to use them for a new home we're building in Northern CA. Will go somewhere else now, but will keep trying to get some follow-up from them.

I never write reviews, but I have to because this company's support is the worst I have ever seen in my life. It took my assistant 3 weeks of calling this company to get a return phone call. Then, another week to get an appointment. When the scheduled appointment finally comes, they are 4 hours late to my house. They tell me they've decided to postpone our appointment another hours because they are now grabbing lunch. making it 5 hours late total.

When they get here, they aren't even prepared with the step later or told required to get the job done. I live in LA. and my garage door has been over for almost a month which in my opinion is a security risk. So not chill for this company to be so overly relaxed about everythingggg. clear they don't care about their customers at all.

Buyer beware. We ultimately had to file a complaint with the CA State Contractors Licensing board. We paid 50% down (over $12,000) for a new custom garage door and double entry doors in December 2018. We also ordered a custom mailbox earlier this year, received a quote in an email but no official estimate. Communication was horrible after we paid our deposit.

We had to leave many voicemails and send many emails before getting a single response. Once we were ready for installation, it took several months to schedule. Everything was supposed to be installed at the same time, however the day before install I was informed that only the garage door was ready to install- this was in August, 8 months after we paid our 50% deposit.

After the garage door was installed, we were told that the entry doors & mailbox would be installed several weeks later. The manager that we worked with left the company in September. Since then, no one will respond to our calls, emails or texts. It's almost one year since we paid 50% down. Others in a similar situation should file a complaint - google "CA state contractors licensing board complaint" to get the link to the site- process is easy, complete form online, print, sign and mail with your documents/proof of deposit. The company will not be able to renew their license if there are outstanding complaints.

The worst company to work with. Their service is horrible. They have installed a door for my entrance with reclaimed wood and after the first rain the water stained the interior of the door. I have been back and forth with them for almost a year and their GM Paul continues to promise me a new door and still waiting. I have enough document to take them to court.

I am so done with their BS promises. Save yourself the headache and work with Crown Garage Doors. By the way don't bother trying to get a hold of the owner, he won't return your calls. They don't even deserve One star.

I have been dealing with Ziegler Doors for almost three years. They initially built seven landscaping gates, a driveway gate, three garage doors and two arched landscape doors. All items arrived on time and were absolutely beautiful. The quality and craftsmanship was top notch. Since then I have had Ziegler out for a couple of issues with the driveway gate and Sal has always arrived and fixed the issue.

He is professional, courteous and really knows his stuff! I used Ziegler for minor maintenance on my garage doors and again I was pleased with their technicians. The technicians were always friendly, professional and most importantly resolved my issues. One technician even went the extra mile and working with my teenage son, spent the time to get the MyQ app working to my satisfaction on my phone to open and close the garage doors.

Just this past summer, Ziegler did strip and stain the gates, as well as resolve some minor gate hardware issues. When I was unhappy with the stain color, Paul R. was out right away to resolve the issue. He explained that stain colors look differently depending on a number of factors such as the wood species, the sun exposure of the wood, etc. Paul worked with me to come up with a custom color and at their expense he had his crew strip the gate, bleach the wood and stain it again. Paul R. is very professional, friendly and truly cares about the customer. He is willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy.

We purchased 3 single custom garage doors and a custom copper and wood gate. We worked with Bryan. Creatively, he is wonderful. His also very nice. As with most custom work in OC- a great deal of patience in the design and production of our custom garage doors and gate was needed. Fortunately, worth the wait and money. The installation crews were very good- professional and detailed. Overall, 5 thumbs up!

We had a gate installed by Ziegler Doors five years ago. We were so happy with it that we decided to purchase our garage doors from them. They turned out exactly what we wanted. Adriana has been a pleasure to work with. She is very attentive and responsive. We are very happy!

Just worked with Dario form Ziegler's Doors. He was terrific and explained exactly why my fairly new garage door was failing to open consistently. He professionally made all the adjustments and re-programed the opener. Very, very responsive.

Worst door company ever. Took at HUGE 50% deposit and never returned - did not provide the door, would not call back, did not issue refund. I think they are out of business

Extremely bad service and not responsible! Initial installation was wrong for at least 3 places putting potential risks to customers and don't follow and respect manual at all! Don't trust this company at all!

BUYER BEWARE! Once they get your money, you no longer matter to them. I spent 16k and have had nothing but problems. It took a month to get a repairman out and when they did fix it it only worked for a few weeks. When I called their office to vent my frustration I was told the owner refuses to talk to customers because he is to busy running a big company. I would stay away from this business.

Ask for Tim Shaffer. I was lucky to get Tim who tuned up my garage door. In fact, I was going to call Zeigler but happened to catch him working on my neighbor's garage. He didn't even hesitate to come over and give me a check up and tune up. Fortunately, I was still in the warranty time frame. He is patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.

Garage doors are like cars. They require maintenance and have an odometer. Don't take it for granted like this clueless homeowner. If you pay attention to it and monitor the garage door, it will last much longer. Next time I sense my door is becoming unbalanced or needs a tune up, I will be personally requesting Tim and if he's not available I'll probably wait for him. I trust him.

Exceptional company providing exceptional customer service. We absolutely love our custom gates and garage doors. This addition has transformed the exterior and truly compliments the style of our Ranch style home.

Had our garage door serviced today. Had problems of it opening up on its own. Tim Shaffer the technician fixed the issue. He is very knowledgeable, knew exactly what to do, was patient in explaining things. He is mild mannered and did an excellent job with ease and in good time. Highly recommend Ziegler. they tighten screw and bolts and lube hing s etc where necessary. Tim Shaffer Thank you! Happy client at Gulfstream in Irvine.

A good company. Tripointe homes builder went with this company and Im glad they did. Had a heavy wooden sliding garage door installed and was having issues with large popping noises when the garage wasn't used for a few hours. Was told that it should go away due to the paint sticking from the builder and the garage company sent out Tim who is amazing at his job.

He fixed the alignment of the door and track. Made sure the hinges were greased and did what he had to do to fix the issue the best he could. 6 months later the issue still persisted. I called the company they sent Tim again and this time he had a solution. He put some sort of wax on the outside hinges of the garage and that solved the issue completely. However, he didn't stop there. He stayed for a good hour or so relubing the hinges and making sure everything worked PERFECTLY THANK YOU
