Garage door spring broke. Called the company who originally installed it. Got their info from the sticker placed on the inside of the door. It was the weekend, call went to voicemail. Instead of requesting emergency weekend service I set up an appointment via the company's website. Couldn't have been easier. Selected the earliest Monday morning appointment, 8:30.

At 8:00 am. Monday phone rings, technician is on his way. Technician arrives, Chad if I remember correctly. Super friendly and professional. Fixed door quickly and checked operation of motor, lubricated chain. Door works great and is quieter than it's ever been. Side note: Chad comments on how hot the door is (east facing). He tells me I can install insulation panels that will make a big difference.

That becomes the days project for me. The difference in temperature in the garage is astonishing. I can only assume that the energy needed to cool the adjacent parts of the house has been great reduced. Thanks, Chad!

Everyone I have dealt with are super helpful and informative. The lady at the front desk was extremely patient with me on getting some springs. I've never ordered springs before and was lost in all the info. Techs are great, office peeps are great

I have used K&B several times for 20 years in two different homes and have always been pleased with their professionalism. Recently I had a problem with a garage door and made the mistake of using a different company based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. Big mistake. The other company told me I needed a new spring and they quoted $500.00.

I declined and called K&B. They set up the appointment, arrived exactly on time and after checking the door and servicing it, Travis moved a bracket on the spring. The door worked perfectly. All for $400.00 less. That's why I call K&B PROFESSIONALS. Thanks, again, K&B!

This company installed my garage doors when my house was built. I called for service and made an appointment. I assumed it was under warranty because it's only 5 years old and the lady on the phone never said anything about fees. The guys come by today and replace the spring. They don't say anything about how much it's gonna cost. They just swap it out and hand me a bill for $411.

The labor alone is $182.62 and they were at my house exactly 30 minutes. So I ask him what they charge an hour for labor like $365.00? He says no I wish and leaves. So I call the office to see what the labor rate is and she says that they don't cHarge by the hour it is a flat rate. I told her that's not cool. Because they never said anything about price at all and now I am paying $365.24/hour. I think that's pretty ridiculous.

They did a great job replacing our 7ft motor for an. 8ft motor. We bought our house n for done reason the previous owners put in the wrong motor. we have 8ft doors. thanks again! Fast, efficient n knowledgeable!

I love working with this company. I heard a loud bang in the middle of the night and couldn’t figure out what it was until I couldn’t open my door due to a broken spring. I called them and they sent someone out that day to fix my garage. They are reliable and fairly priced. I highly recommend them!

Have used K&B many times over the years fir my house & my parents they came out the other day when I had issues with my garage door fixed my issue and also helped me with my outside key pad I couldn't figure out... technician was very polite I would highly recommend them

We've been in the market for a while now, to replace both of our garage door motors, and as I did my research, K & B Garage Door Co., kept popping up as a reputable company. They did not disappoint! Their prices are very fair and their service is excellent. I highly recommend them!

This is the company that originally installed my garage door when my house was built. They must've had the contract with American West Homes (at least at the time my house was built in 2013). Our door made some horrible noises and the top panel cracked. My husband called K and B and they didn't want to come out and see what was wrong. They just wanted to replace the panel for $499.

We decided to look around for someone else. I told my husband just to call back, and have them do the panel and find out why it cracked in the first place. He was quoted $449 plus $230ish because there are windows in the top panel. My husband told them that there were windows the first time he called. But now they want more money. Then the lady tried to upsell us in a new door for $1200 and change.

Mind you, we still don't know what was wrong in the first place. So my husband hung up with them. We don't want to be taken advantage of. And have the same BS happen with another door. The way it was installed was a stupid design in the first place. We called American Veterans Garage Door and they came out. They Replaced the spring and spring mechanism. Reinforced the door where it cracked with a brace.

The door works better than it ever did since original installation. All for less than what K and B quoted on the phone with not wanting to send anyone out. Imagine if K and B came out and replaced the top panel for $750-800 and then charged us for the spring and all that business? They wanted to fix something over the phone. And it wasn't even the root of the problem. Outrageous.

We were leaving our house around 11:45 am Friday morning when suddenly the garage door wouldn't close completely. Upon inspection, I saw the chain was off the sprocket and hanging limply on the door. Not wanting to fool around with an electrical device, I figured it best to call a professional company in. There was a K&B Garage Door Company sticker attached to the garage door, so after doing a little Yelp research, I called them and explained our dilemma.

The girl on the phone said that they schedule by zip code and could probably get to our job on Monday, but I said I absolutely needed to get the door fixed today since we were leaving the house later for the evening and didn't want to leave the garage door open. She put me on hold for a minute, then came back on and said a crew could be there between 12:00-3:30 pm--perfect!

About 1:15 pm, Chuck and Carson came over and said the chain drive needed to be repaired, but noting the age of the unit (11 years), Chuck suggested replacing the unit, and we agreed with his assessment. He suggested a belt drive unit instead of a chain driven one which would cost about $85 more, but would have the advantages of running smoother and quieter, could operate the door through a phone app, and offered a lifetime warranty instead of only a 4-year one--excellent!

So we asked how long would it take to install the new unit and they said about 90 minutes, which would allow us time to get ready and go out. It took them barely over an hour to install the unit and clean up, and after that Chuck patiently explained how the remotes and wall switch worked and answered all our questions. Chuck and Carson were friendly, very thorough and professional--thanks, guys!

And thank you to the girl in the office for expediting our job (sorry, I didn't write down your name!)--most appreciated! Solid company that I will call again for future work--no wonder they have been in business over 35 years!

Don't waste your time with these people! I have used this company in the past and never had a issue. Boy things have changed so I'm writing this review because I had scheduled to have a garage door motor replaced on my rental property and called to have them rescheduled The installation. I asked about getting someone out to get the new garage door opener installed got a very unhelpful and arrogant attitude from the office person on the phone. Sounded like they where to busy and gave me the bums rush on the phone! That won't happen again! I will never use them again

Excellent service! The repair guy did something unheard of for Vegas, he showed up! He called and let me know he was on the way. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing, very good repair, excellent service and in a timely manner.

Quick installation, professional service tech called before arrival and then arrived when he said he would. He took time to explain how product worked and made sure I understood. I am very pleased with the service I received and quality product.

This review is for the office lady only. I called and asked for a type of spring and she asked me to email a picture of the model number. I did and got no response. I went to there office and the lady was nothing but rude and said she can't help me unless I bring the springs in. I explained that I had part numbers and model numbers, she didn't care and rushed me out the door. Huge waste of my morning. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

This was excellent since the Garage Spring broke in two and I was unable to open the door to get my car out. Over 72 Hrs now and the First Company has still not responded.

At K & B Doors - Ryan - came out on schedule (a little earlier really) and had the Spring Replaced, serviced both my doors and was finished in 30 Minutes. I will not even bother to call another company. Great Service, Responsiveness and Professionalism - Thanks, Ryan.

I had 3 garage door estimates done and I am VERY glad I chose K&B. They came out a day after I called to gave an honest estimation. The project had some unique and challenging difficulties that the other companies did not fully appreciate.

Service technician (Brian I think was his name) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Had my garage repaired within the hour. Highly recommend!

Travis installed our new garage door motor and was very professional and competent. He explained the features thoroughly and answered all my questions. Terri in the office was also very courteous and knowledgeable. It was a stress free experience. Would use their service again.

I've called this company based on the great reviews on the internet, they gave me 4 hours windows, and somebody was waiting at the house for over 4 hours, the tech finally showed up, and he was not interested to repair at all and suggested to replace the door and another part for over $1100, actually all I need was a repair job, I communicated the problem with their customer service and they still charge me the service call, just be careful with this company.

Called first thing this morning with an emergency, well to my standards and the woman on the phone, Trishwas so nice and helpful and told me she would call me right back after seeing what she could do.

We had a Wayne Dalton 9600 double garage door installed last Wednesday by Joe. He answered all our questions, and went above and beyond our expectations. We are thoroughly happy with the product and professional level of service and high quality of the Install. Really needed a new unit, as the original door was 23 years old, and failing fast. I have dealt with K&B in the past, with excellent results.

My spring broke on a Sunday afternoon, so first thing Monday morning I called K&B. The person who answered the call was helpful, friendly and scheduled a same day appointment. As promised, the technician Bryan, called 20 minutes before arrival. He was courteous and it was obvious he is a very experienced technician. He showed me a motor strength adjustment feature on my door opener that I didn't knew existed. Bryan also took the time to lubricate the rollers and door joints, and now my garage door is almost silent! Overall, the service and quality of work was excellent, and the price was actually lower than I expected! Thanks K&B, I am a 100% satisfied customer.

I went here when my garage door opener wasn't working well. I suspected it was the battery but I couldn't get the *$!@%^& remote open. Went here and after a short struggle the counter lady got it open and - sure enough - it just needed a new battery. When another lady came out we all got into a conversation about how to open garage doors when the power goes out and I was given a tutorial using the showroom display.

When I asked what I owed them they said I didn't owe them anything. But I do owe them my thanks, so here it is. Great people at this place and service that goes above & beyond.
