Pioneer Overhead Door

If I could give a negative rating, then I would but I highly don't recommend this vendor. This vendor is very unresponsive and uncommunicative. Customer service is non-existent. They accepted a job to repair a garage door through my home warranty company. My tenant was present for the appointment, and then afterwards we (myself and my property manager) could not get any information as to the problem, and the next steps to resolve the issue.

Even my tenant doesn't even know what's going on. This vendor is very good and quick to run the payment on a credit card for their service visit but when it comes to providing any information on the problem or even something simple like providing a payment confirmation receipt this vendor cannot do. This vendor is very poor and lacks any good customer service skills.

I spoke to a guy named Ron, and his tone was smug and condescending. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't care for this negative review like he doesn't care for you as a customer. My experience can back up all the negative reviews this vendor has received. There are other great vendors in Las Vegas to choose for your repair needs just stay away from this one!

Called and spoke to a nice lady who said she'd pass my contact information on and someone would call me to schedule service. Waited a day. Never heard back from them. Went with Overhead Door. They were great.

I was going to wait until later this week to review Pioneer Overhead Door, but I couldn't contain my excitement. I had my garage door motor/lift fixed about an hour or so ago, and I am so jazzed. Yoendry and Abiel are top of the line guys and did a fantastic job. Pretty much everything was in tact except for the motor that lifts the door. They did a great getting everything done from the sensors, the motor, proper lift, inside button, and clicker.

Everything works great and I really couldn't be happier. I get that many folks will have their choice of garage people, but I pick Pioneer Overhead Door hands down. They are now my go to people hence forth.

I usually do not give reviews, in this case I will. On February 15,2021 Pioneer installed some garage doors at my home. This company was referred by a friend. I recently had an issue with my door not waiting to close. I called Scott at the end of November of 2021, no reply. I waitede called again in December of 2021 again no reply. I called again and he finally answered the phone, saide he would stop by on Tuesday 12-21-21 at 8:30am, never showed up nor called.

I then proceed to send a text as of 12-23-21no reply to txt. I paid this man cash money for his service. I will not be someone for their service. I do not see how this company got 5 stars. GUESS I will get another company to check my garage door. I regret getting thus company. Ifvi could give zero I would.

They accepted a warranty claim and never showed up. Didn't even have the courtesy to call and cancel. We waited 5 hours and then called them.the guy was like, "I accepted this job by accident. It won't be worth the money it pays." Poor business and I wish I could give them minus stars.

I will only use Pioneer Overhead Door. They installed my original garage door 25 years ago. They have always been responsive and reasonably priced! I have referred them to friends and those friends are all happy! Thank you for your great service and not taking advantage of a senior!

The previous owner of our home had used this company so we did also. This is the second time we have needed them in 3 years. This time the tech was acceptable but forgot to re-program keypad. We called and the owner(Ron) had said he would come but only after several rude questions and realizing we paid for the service and it wasn't a warranty.

He never did show. We left town and called when we came back. He immediately said it is $80. After a back and forth he did come, the rudest and condescending man. He's the owner?! Its apparent he doesn't need business. I would never use them or recommend to anyone. I guess he has enough customers, however these reviews seem pretty consistent. Sad

Note: This company was automatically assigned via my home warranty company. I had an appointment time t made on a Tuesday for a Friday show time from 11-3pm for one of my properties. My tenant called me at 4 letting me know that no one showed up or called. She was understandably upset because she had taken time off work to ensure she would home for the appointment.

When I called the company to find out what happened the person who answered the phone was unapologetic and told me they just dropped the ball. If you have a choice. Don't use this company. If you get assigned to them from your home warranty company. Get it reassigned.

Corey was fantastic, friendly and professional. He was upfront about everything and did a great job on the install, this is probably the quietest garage door I've ever had and looks much nicer than expected. Thanks Corey!

I really wanted to do business locally, here in Lebanon, Oregon. I phoned around 9:30 am, again at 4 pm and received a return call around 6 pm. Unfortunately he was booked for at least a week for service/repairs. I couldn't wait since my garage door would not open and my vehicle was inside. Valley Overhead Door answered the phone immediately and gave me a next day appointment. From now on, Valley Overhead Door gets my biz.

Good work, bad customer service. Had a a lot of respect for the techs who did the work, but don't trust the company's warranty. Guy came out and did a solid job replacing the door a few months back. Come out a couple days ago attempt to close my door and it basically falls off the rails. the cables are completely off the gear. Guy asks me not to touch it and it will be a few days before someone can get there (was on a weekend).

Since I didn't want my stuff stolen for two days, i unhooked the messed up wire to let it down. I was informed my warranty was voided and I had to pay full price for the fix, Called the company and got blasted with anger and hate. When I came back into my garage the tech informed me he would have to charge an additional 80% of the price because of the long winded call that just transpired. Bright side is, since I don't have a warranty I have no reason to call a angry self insulting individual again.

Excellent customer service, efficient installation, good quality door, and priced lower than competitors. Hauled off my 50+ year old, heavy wooden door. What more can a customer ask? New door looks great and opens and closes very smoothly and quietly.

Loved that the 2 techs (Rayan & Keith) showed up in masks as safety is #1 right now because of COVID-19. Everything was great starting with Ron (owner) & Desire' (receptionist). Techs arrived earlier that my appointment window since I requested that when I called to make appointment the day before. This morning, Desire' confirmed with me via text & phone call that we are home when they arrived.

Both techs were professional & friendly. Rayan was knowledgeable, he answered all our questions & offered information on how to keep our new garage door's spring in good shape to last longer, also mentioned the 1 year warranty. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for affordable prices & great service. Thank you pioneer overhead door :)

I have tried to reach them 3 different times over the past several months. I leave messages with the girl who answers the phone but have yet to ever get any calls back. Moving on.

Took 1/2 day off work to have appt for garage door repair. Then call after waiting and no ETA or call prior to arriving. they sorry they willl need to reschedule their appt for next week. They punch clock out at 4 pm to go home. Already waited for time for a week and get to wait again another week.

Joe & Edward (Eddy) are AMAZING! So quick and professional, communicating step by step what was going on with my garage repairs. And all of this while keeping great conversation! They made sure I was completely set up with manuals and everything I needed to get the phone app set up as well. I will definitely be referring them, because it's so hard to find good repair guys in this town. I appreciate you guys so much. Thank you, it feels good to be able to open my garage again LOL

Can't do a review because they never showed up or even called. I took a day off from work and wasted the day waiting for them. When I called them a couple of hours later, they didn't even offer to reschedule or apologize!

The owner's response to a customer's review tells the WHOLE story and confirms several of the negative reviews posted. I had the same type of interaction with this guy at my home and had no idea he is the owner! I have used them several times at my employers home (not any longer) and had them out when my personal garage door wouldn't work.

He was rude and condescending right off the bat. Told me what I did to get the garage door to close was wrong. Well, pardon me for not wanting my garage open over night. He charged me $156 for a 'temporary fix' that lasted three days! He then told me I needed two new doors (they cannot match) and scribbled $2000 on a piece of paper. I just wanted him out of my house!

I immediately filled out a request on Costco's website to schedule a consultation with their garage door dealer. I receive a call two days later from a sweet girl/lady saying she is calling to schedule the consultation I had requested through Costco. She tells me she is with Pioneer Overhead Door. I tell her of my recent experience and how this puts me in a tough position.

I try to buy everything from Costco BECAUSE of their service model but I just cannot bring myself to use their company. She said she completely understands and will notify the owner of the situation. Now I know why I never received a call from said owner (the rude tech was the owner)!. I have filed a complaint with Costco. His way of doing business completely opposite of Costco's.

I hope they consider changing garage door dealers. Ron N. Did a very poor job replacing rubber on bottom of door. Would not return phone calls after many attempts to contact. Had to pay another company to fix it. Will never use them again.

Super job! After 5 minutes they had the job done and tremendously honest. Previous company wanted to sell me a complete system when all I needed was to pair two remotes to my door. Pioneer is completely honest, which is rare in this industry! Mr. Nelson is tops! 5 stars isn't enough. Jack

Wished I could rate this company a zero star, but one star will have to suffice. Since moving into this house, we have had problems with the garage doors. The company is very quick to pass the buck. If you ever get to talk to Ron, the owner, he is very rude and abrasive. He does not care what the customer is asking and will just reply like you are a waste of his time. Adding on to my review.it was relayed to us that in order to get the tech we requested to do warranty work is to have us remove my yelp review. To that I say "No Way!" This company needs to know that the customer has concerns and to listen. Not silent our voices.

They arrived to me in about an hour which I was thrilled with and got a tech on site by the end of the day. I appreciated that. What I didn't appreciate was interacting with the owner. He was not pleasant to deal with and very condescending. Be careful accepting a "not to exceed" estimate. Get hourly rate upfront. Please don't leave yourself exposed and leave your checkbook open.

It will be exploited. He said "Not to exceed $500 estimated with 3 hours of labor". Final bill, $370 for 45 mins. Hmm, I'm no math major- but Ron sure tried to educate me about running a business. I've owned restaurants. I don't need his "business 101" course. I also don't need to be talked down to. I needed a fair bill. I wouldn't recommend. That was to "repair a garage door". Apparently "repairing" means bend the metal back (not even straight). I could have bent it back myself.

I just thought about the rude condescending way Ron answered the phone and thought I would do a little review. I was scheduled from 12 to 3 someone calls at 3:26 saying they were on their way. Someone calls again a few minutes later saying if I didn't pick up the phone no one will be coming. I noticed the call 30 minutes later. I called immediately called because I needed the garage door fixed.

I could not believe how rude and condescending he was. Needless to say I did not use them because he has such terrible customer service skills, I couldn't imagine what kind of service they would do.

Pioneer Doors installed garage doors with openers on my home in Lebanon. They scheduled me quickly and were at my home in just a few days. The installation was quick and professional. When I found an issue with one of the control heads Pioneer responded quickly and replaced the unit. I would highly recommend Pioneer Doors to my friends and clients.

Wow! The spring broke on my garage door and my car was stuck inside. I called Pioneer. They were busy, but they still were able to rush over and do a quick fix. We'll be doing a complete door servicing soon.

My overhead garage door spring broke some time ago. The opener still lifted the door so I figured I would deal with it someday. Well someday arrived this last week and the opener wouldn't pick my door up anymore.

I called for a new garage door opener to be installed. I spoke with Ron on the phone who was awesome and gave great advice on the different options I had to choose from. within three hours a truck was at my house with two great employees of pioneer(Adam, and Robert).My new garage door was installed in 45 minutes I could not be happier!

They are the BEST. I highly recommend them for anything to do with your garage door. Mine decided to cease all operation and just sit there. They were on time, the price was fair, the people were delightful.

Woke up to a busted spring on the garage door. Found Pioneer in a google search. I called and they said it could be repaired today. Within an hour I not only had them there but it was repaired quickly and professionally.

Amazing Service! My 20 year old garage door stopped working and I called them up, they were here the same day with a brand new one installed in under 2 hours. Affordable, Quick, and even took away the old one.

Are garage door needed to be replaced, and POD came out and installed a new one. Great customer service and a great family owned business! Highly recommend you give them a call if you need a garage repair!
