Above & Beyond Pool Remodeling

From the estimate to the finished product, we have been happy with Above and Beyond Pools. Alfredo was timely and easy to work with. He kept us informed on every aspect of the process. He has even helped us out by answering questions months after finishing our pool. We can't wait for the new pool season to start so we can enjoy our newly resurfaced pool!

Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling did a FANTASTIC job resurfacing our pool and replacing our deck! Every step of the process was organized, efficient, and professional. Our communications with the office staff (Bella) were always prompt and helpful. Our project supervisor, Alfredo, was easily accessible via phone or text and kept us up to date with timelines, expectations, and he quickly answered any questions that arose.

We especially appreciated the emails and videos that were provided to show us what to expect with each step of the remodel. We are extremely pleased with the end result and the professionalism of the workers. We will recommend Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling to all of our neighbors and friends. They truly went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations!

Update: I contacted Mike the owner and not only did he take accountability for the issues we had, he immediately corrected them. Our project is now done and I couldn't be happier with the work that was completed. Thanks Mike for addressing my concerns and for the great work your company performed for us. I'm hesitant to leave this review because our project isn't 100% finished yet.

The work that has been done so far is great quality, however there are other various issues that are preventing me from giving them more stars. 1. We told the person we were working with several times that we have dogs and need advanced warning before people just show up in our yard. With the exception of the first visit we have not had advanced notice (despite being told we would).

In fact the crew doesn't even knock on the front door. They have just been walking straight into our backyard like they own the place. They also never notify us when they are done, they just leave. 2. We had specifically told them for the acid wash process that we had a small window available for a Saturday morning. The crew never showed up when they were supposed to.

We ended up locking our back gate and moving our trash cans in front of the gate, since we couldn't trust them to not just let themselves in with our dogs back there. They ended up having to come back on Sunday to complete the work they didn't do the previous day (again not letting us know when they showed up or left). 3. Every time a crew has been in our backyard we find trash from them (empty energy drink cans, rags, etc.). 4.

Communication - We hear one thing from the main office and another from the person we were working with directly. We never know when anyone is actually showing up until we see them in our backyard. 5. Additionally, we were made to believe the decking (last thing remaining for us) would be completed in 1-2 days once scheduled. Someone came on Monday and power washed the prepped surface and then Tuesday we had someone come put a coat of something on the surface.

Later on Tuesday someone pulled up in front of our house, walked into the backyard (again without notice), and then walked back to his truck and drove off. This happened again on Wednesday. We have no idea at this point when the deck will be finished and when we asked about it all we were told is, "they will be working on it throughout the week." 6. Update - after posting my two star review I decided to drop this down to 1 star, as now we've been informed that there will be further delay on the deck.

After being told it would be 100% finished last week I was just informed that they will not even come back to work on it again until Monday (I'm not holding my breath for this one). The reason I received was this: It is a little more intricate than any other one they do and they do not have the adequate amount of crew members. They've known the style of deck we wanted since Jan 25th, how could this oversight have happened 5 weeks after we picked our decking out?

So now we will have a sheet of plastic over our pool for at least a week. Also, it's only Wednesday, can they really not have a full crew out here until Monday? I also find it odd that less than an hour after I posted my initial review with 2 stars that we were booted to next week. I'm willing to change my review to a higher level if my concerns are addressed. Again, the work completed so far is amazing, but the frustration of various issues has me thinking I wouldn't want to use this company in the future.

This company did a fantastic job remodeling our pool. They put in a pebbletec finish, new tile, and a new deck. They arrived when they were supposed to be there. Each phase of construction was preceded by a video emailed a few days in advance of their arrival showing the work that was about to take place. The work was completed in a timely manner and was of the highest quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

We are highly pleased with the work that Above and Beyond Pool recently completed. We moved into a home where the pool had been deleted, the equipment removed and the pool covered with a deck. It's now back in service and looks fantastic. It was a positive experience from start to finish. Everyone we worked with was pleasant and professional. With such large project there were a few issues but they were always addressed in a timely and efficient manner.

Overall the communication process was excellent. The owner Mike was our job site supervisor and he deserves credit for running a great company. I highly recommend Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling.

We hired Above and Beyond Pools to assist us with our pool/spa project. They provided us with a 3-D drawing of our backyard vision and we couldn't have been more pleased. After approving final drawings. We then started the construction process. They were available every step of the way as we completed each construction phase. We chose Above and Beyond to be our pool finishing company. WOW let me repeat. WOW we made the right choice.

Communication was top notch, from coordinating appointments with the office staff ( Amanda & Bella ) to meeting with Denise to pick out all our finishes, to all the tradesmen that did the work. At every step in the process, from making an estimate, assisting in developing a design through construction and remodel completion the company and all of its staff could not have been better. Every individual with whom we worked were courteous, empathetic and made every effort to make sure our questions were answered and needs met. We decided to do a pool remodel for our 23 year old pool that had cracked roll bond beam. Troy, AABP's sales manager came out for our bid and suggested some great ideas to make our pool look like new and we went with his suggestions. The superintendent for our pool project was Matt and he did a great job overseeing and answering any questions we had.

All of the office staff & everyone that touched the construction on our pool did a FANTASTIC and professional job. The owner Mike Sandoval came by several times to touch base and make sure all was to our satisfaction - that shows how much he takes pride in his company! I just finished a remodel of my pool and decking and the finished product is amazing. The crews that worked on the project are so friendly and highly skilled while the admin crew kept me in the loop each step of the way during the project. I certainly plan to use them again for my other property and we are thrilled with the final product.

My wife and I saved up for several years in order to fund our pool remodel and spent several weeks selecting the right pool remodeling company to take on our project. After all the work had been completed, I know we made the right choice selecting Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling. The Above and Beyond team was engaged from the beginning of the project until the end and were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had along the way.

As we were coming close to the end of the project, we were concerned that we might not have our pool completed in time for our son’s birthday party, and to my surprise Michael Sandoval and Robert showed up on the 4th of July and worked several hours to get everything finished. All said and done Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling was never going to miss the date, and had the pool remodel completed a week earlier than expected. We plan to expand our pool deck next year and will be calling Above and Beyond Pool Remodeling back when we are ready to go.

For starters they offer a 15 year Materials AND LABOR warranty, let that sink in for a minute since their competitors quoted me 10 years on materials and 2 years on labor! These guys are a first class organization. They not only beat the largest pool resurfacing company by 20% but were able to resurface my pool 6 weeks sooner than all competitors so my girls could enjoy their summer in the pool!
Fernando was great and helped me decide which options and colors worked best for my pool and helped save me money by not doing unnecessary work such as re-tiling my waterline; and BTW, my pool looks awesome!
Michael, the President, offered to give me his personal cell number in case I had any issues. If I moved to a new house and needed to resurface my pool, the first and only call I'd make is to these guys!

I had a complete remodel, a water feature added and a heater. Troy, was the salesman and was very helpful. Fernando was my superintendent and made sure everything was done with perfection. I had a few things that needed to be tweaked and Fernando sent out his people in a very timely manner and took care of the problems. All the young men he sent out, Edsen, Matt, And Jose were all very polite and helpful.

I interviewed many companies and am so glad I went with Above and Beyond. I haven’t met Mike but I know he selected a great crew and they do great work. I highly recommend that you have a chance to get a quote from this great company.

We were extremely happy with the process of resurfacing our pool. Each step begins with an email sent to you with a video of what to expect and then finished with the foreman inspection before they move to the next step. Other than the work that was completed, you couldn't tell they were there that day. They clean up very well after themselves. Our pool looks great and we appreciate the attention to detail.
