Rascher Plumbing and Heating was established in 1912 by Carl William Rascher who started in the industry as an apprentice in the year 1898. With hard work, efficient operation, good management, and a sincere endeavor to serve the public, the business was built. Through the years our work has required a high degree of craftsmanship.These qualities have been acquired through professional training and trade association membership. Association service has played an important role in giving back to the industry that has provided for our family for 100 years. The leadership roles have allowed us to continue the proud heritage of the plumbing industry and create public health and safety through proper plumbing for current and future generations.

An outside water faucet broke of, cracking the pipe. The shut off to the pipe was not completely closing. We needed to shut off the main to the house. Rascher responded to our call from Sunday night at 8AM on Monday. Jason was at our home by 9AM and completed the installation of a new shutoff valve, copper pipe to the exterior, and a new outside faucet in one hour.
The removed pipe was galvanized and had most likely been in place for over 30 years. Jason was able to remove the pipe without cutting. He did expert job, efficiently and at a reasonable price.

We had a wet spot on the ceiling in a basement bathroom. I was able to locate the leak by checking pipes from unfinished adjacent furnace. The problem was a cracked ABS drain pipe joint. I put a pan under it to catch the drip so we wouldn't need emergency repair service. Rascher had done good work for us on previous remodeling projects so I called them up and scheduled repair for 6/1 with arrival time between 8 and 10. Ed called 6/1 at 8:25 to say he would arrive soon. Ed completed the job in 1.5 hours. The repair looks good and stopped the leak. Price was fair.

Best neighborhood plumber in the business. They are all ready, equipped and knowledgeable. Their prices are very reasonable and anytime I've had an issue they've been able to service our house same day. Replaced my boiler, water heater and recently water spigot with them. Only plumbing company I'll go to. Can't recommend Rascher enough!

We got an appointment within an hour or so of my phone call to Rascher. Jason was on time and was pleasant and easy to work with. We had a new kitchen faucet put in. It works better now than it ever did. Jason explained in layman's terms why the faucet was working so poorly in the past. Jason did a Great job. Thanks Jason and Rascher.

I don't have enough great things to say about this company. They replaced our 41 year old hot water heater in May 2020. They initially were not able to come out immediately but moved some things around to accommodate us same day. It had a defective thermocoupler. They came out immediately and replaced. Jason was so nice, professional, and quick. Thank you for being our go-to people and accommodating us on short notice not 1 but 2 times!

I used Rascher Plumbing to repair a water leak and to give me a recommendation about repairs at another water leak site. The technician from Rascher was Mark. He did an excellent job of explaining the process that he would do to repair the primary leak. He than did an evaluation of another potential water leak problem and provided me with a very detailed explanation of the problem and potential solutions to the issue.
I was very impressed with the work and the detailed suggestions for repair on the secondary problem. I would highly recommend Rascher for any plumbing work. Very professional service and reasonably priced!

I was very impressed with the 3 men that were sent to my house. They did a good job of fixing what needed to be done. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and what did not need to be done, in terms that I could understand. The plumbers are very well trained in Plumbing/ Heating skills as well as customer service.

I like family run businesses, I think you get better customer service from them. Recently my husband tried to replace a toilet himself, after he realized that he was in over his head, I called Rascher. They came right out and used the parts that we had already purchased elsewhere and only charged us for labor. Other places I called first wanted to sell us parts.

When we arranged our anniversary party at our house everything seemed perfect except the kitchen sink started to leak. The water started to leak through the garbage disposal. The guests were supposed to arrive in an hour and we really dont know what to do. One of my friends who had arrived early referred them. I immediately called them and informed about our situation.
