Please stay away from this company! They came out to repair one of my AC units. The technician came out - was quite arrogant but I left him alone. He came with his diagnostic which I later found out was wrong. They charged me almost $300 for diagnostic even he was only at my site for 35 minutes. They never send me an invoice but just charged my credit card. Calling them - they never call back. I have used several HVAC companies and this one comes down as the absolute worse!

They are the best! My AC broke during one of the hottest weeks of the year, I was told the part would take 3-5 days to arrive. They were very compassionate in our time of need and were able to locate and install the part the next day! I will never use another company other than Airmakers. They really care about their customers. They went above and beyond. And they know what they are doing.

I have been using Airmakers for several years. Their technical services today were as good as usual. Their personal touch however remains as bad as always. (I've had previous issues with customer service so this is the last straw) Today the technician was due between 1-4PM. At 4:30 PM I called to inquire where my technician was at for my routine semi-annual service.
I was told he had truck problems and she could not reach him to determine when he would be at my residence. My question to the rep was simple. It is now 4:30 why did no one call me by 4pm(the latest arrival time) to provide some customer service update? The rep was rude and said the tech was not answering his phone whereby she could provide an update. Again, she already knew about his truck problems so why didn't she call with an update earlier.
She said she would call back when she contacted the tech, She eventually did return my call and the tech arrive around 5PM and completed his service. As this was my last routine service for this year, I will be looking for another company that has good technical service AND good customer service. I would NOT recommend this company!

Used them in the past for scheduled HVAC replacement. No complaint. This time HVAC is down. Called Emergency service last night. The engineer was too busy to come out but promised to put request forward to the office for appointment next day. Called the office this morning, no information was transferred. They took information again and told me that I will be notified when engineer will be dispatched. Called at noon to check and they told me I was scheduled for tomorrow.
When reminding them of agreeing with engineer last night to postpone service to today, they told me engineer was not authorized to promise appointment. Manager apologized. I am glad there are alternative providers that provide state of the art customer service.

These guys are the worst in terms of providing a fair value for service rendered. We called them out recently as one of our HVAC units wasn't working. They performed the diagnostic. $89. replaced the capacitor, which took 10 minutes and is a $10 part and charged $260 for it, so $350 total for 10 minutes of work and a $10 part. They didn't quote us before they did the work and after the work was performed they wouldn't reduce the charge meaningfully so that the charge was commensurate with the value.
Their comment was, "we know we didn't quote you before we did the work, but the charges are in line with our competitors so we're going to charge you whatever we want." Steer clear of these guys.

Our Air system stopped working, called AirMakers for help, they came and got the system working for us. They did a full check of the system and found we had a slow leak and set up a call from their Representative. We worked out a deal with them for a new system because of the age of our system. They got us quickly in their schedule for the replacement.
They were very professional as the system was replaced, making suggestions as to what needed to be replaced as they worked on putting in the new system. We are very satisfied with the work that was performed by the professional employees from AirMakers. We have used them for years for our seasonal system inspections. We would recommend AirMakers to anyone needing help or seasonal checks with their Heating and Air Conditioning systems. The Layden's

EVERY YEAR since we've been living in our home (11years), we've had issues with our HVAC system. We've called this company 2-3x each year to fix it. They come out but obviously don't fix the problem. We get charged for the visit, service and materials even though they didn't fix the issue. We're finally going to stop using Airmakers. We only used them as long as we did because my husband thought they knew what they were doing since the company installed the system. No more.

I've used Airmakers for many years across a number of AC issues I've had. I wanted to publicly post to thank Daniel Christopher (technician) for the great work he did today to repair an issue (covered under warranty). Daniel has been to my house several times over the years and provides first rate service, explains the issue and how best to address it.

We acquired three bids to replace our entire HVAC systems for a 3,000 square foot house, and while they were all close, we were impressed with Charlie's knowledge and professionalism. AirMakers replaced one on Thursday and one on Friday so we were never without some AC in the house. The installers were very professional, business-like, and tidy.

We called Airmakers for our property in Cary. They came on a weekend so they charged us an emergency rate. Made a repair. 2 days later, the same problem creeps back. They are recalled to repair, this time they make an additional repair, charge additional money and then we purchase a maintenance agreement. This time they find additional work that needs to be repaired, and yet and still they leave as if the unit is fully repaired.
Now on to our third repair call, we call the office and try to speak to the tech manager, but we have to get on his schedule for next week. I am sorry but its like 20 degrees at night and our heat is only getting to 57 each night. I consider that an emergency, but when you are charging clients per call, I guess their is no need to be in a rush or selective about your work.
I am starting to feel like we are dealing with shaddy mechanics that repair everything except for the real problem. Now we are told we need a new pressure switch, at about $800 in repair costs, not to mention time off from work, I could have purchased a new system with no worries. Beware of this company. All we want is for them to say their first two analysis were incorrect and credit those repairs to fixing the still broken unit, or refund our money so we can purchase a new unit. At over $800 in repairs, plus numerous hours missed from work, I could well be on my way to having a new unit installed with a warranty.
