After four years of watching rain drip through our roof into our living room, HKC found the source of the leak that two other roofing companies could not. Those companies kept caulking and the roof kept leaking, One of the HKC workers told me " caulking is just a band aid." Ed Stinson and Walt Weed organized the repairs and Walt came by almost daily to check on the progress. Everyone who worked here was professional, hard working and a gentleman. Thanks to HKC we removed the bucket from our living room. Thank you HKC

I requested HKC provide a quote for fixing what we had thought were gutters with issues. They came out and went above and beyond during the estimate - turns out we didn't need any work done. When we have any future gutter or roofing issues, they will be my first turn.

Good company. Handled a "standard with some curveballs" roof and gutter replacement project methodically and with no issues. Costs about 5-10% lower than competitive bids, and those bids submitted in the time expected. 95%+ effective cleanup. Overall presentation is a common-sense based, engineering-competent installer. Highly likely to hire again for future projects.

My business partner and worked with Ed Stinson. I believe HKC works on larger projects but they were still able to help us with a smaller repair on our slate roof and gutter patch. Ed was always responsive, communicated well, and constantly updating us along the process. Cannot say enough good things about their customer service which is hard to find nowadays. I have used HKC's services to tear down and replace my 3 layer roof, as well as my flat roof requiring rubber membrane. I have also used them for the instillation of new gutter guards. We chose HKC roofing to redo leaking box gutters on our 100+ year old historic home. We could not be happier with our choice and the final product. The work was completed as described and we were billed for the exact amount they estimated to us. From the beginning, it was apparent to us that HKC was the most equipped company to do the job. Firstly, their estimate process was seamless and detailed.

One of the main reasons we chose HKC is that we felt that their estimate was the most detailed and addressed an issue that other companies missed. A problem in addition to our box gutters leaking was that our chimney flashing needed replaced. The cost to redo box gutters is expensive no matter which company you choose and we did not want to spend money on a large project to still have water problems. Secondly, we are very happy we chose HKC because of the quality of their work. HKC's quote was slightly higher than other companies but it provided for more work with our chimney flashing and used better materials (the HKC quote was for copper gutters rather than galvanized steel gutters).

The final product is of a high quality and the gutters are now working perfectly. The small increase in money was well worth the repairs we received from HKC. Finally, our experience with HKC was made seamless by their consistent communication. Our project got pushed back a little while due to Covid (which was to be expected) and HKC made sure to reach out to let us know where the timeline stood.

We really appreciated this proactive communication. Further, whenever we had questions about an estimate, they made themselves available to answer all of our questions. Thank you for the great work HKC!

Our roof and gutters were very old, and I had zero experience with roofing companies before, so I researched on line as much as possible. I saw all the positive comments and ratings about HKC, and felt it was a solid place to start for getting quotes. My first contact was with Ed Stinson, who promptly set up an appointment to come to our home.and quite frankly.

I never looked back. Ed was extremely knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to answer my 100 questions. He sent a drone up to take pictures of the condition of the roof, gutters and even chimney (something I had not even considered).so I could see for myself and understand all that we discussed. I also had a tiny overhang at our side entrance where I thought a copper accent might look nice.and Ed was able to offer that through HKC as well!

I had great confidence with Ed's knowledge and always prompt responses, and was then equally impressed with Drew Janson and his installation crew! They were amazing! They arrived at 7:30 A.M. and barely stopped working hard except for a very short lunch. They made sure everything close to my house (like grills, patio furniture, etc.) was moved away so they would not be damaged when the old shingles were removed and tossed off the roof.

I even had several flowering bushes that were precious to me, and Drew made sure they placed plywood at an angle over top of them, so no branches were broken. When the installation was complete.the clean up was even spotless! The entire crew was the hardest working group of guys I have ever seen.and according to my husband (who works on jobsites all the time, as he is a contractor himself) they really knew what they were doing.and did it the right way!

Both Ed and Drew communicated with me every step of the way and also followed up after the work was done to make sure we were satisfied. My roof is beautiful and they were true professionals, in every aspect of their work. I feel that we got an excellent installation at a very fair price, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone! In fact, were so satisfied, that we moved forward with getting a second roof from them for another small house we inherited. These folks are really the best!

We've used HKC twice: once to reshingle our garage roof, and once to replace the roofing over our front door. Both times, we've been happy with the quality of the work and the people we worked with. It took a while to get the front-entrance work scheduled, which was the only negative part of our experience. The work itself was done efficiently and, as far as I can tell, well. We would use them again.

I would recommend HKC on any roofing project! We have a flat roof on our home and the team at HKC did a fantastic job informing us of problems and recommending solutions, Todd Hogel was very educated in the modern methods used to repair our roof, Jeff Lobes was also helpful and helped us understand the proceedures used during this project, HKC Forman on the job was Christian, He made sure to take the extra time needed to make sure the repairs were done properly, always very respectful and kept us up to date on the schedule. HKC was one of many companies I had quote our roof and gutters in hyde park. Many simply didn't provide a quote or gave me a crazy price. HKC spent time figuring out exactly what was needed and the current condition of the roof including getting in the attic, made detailed suggestions on the scope of work and walked me through the options in the catalogs. We plan on using them when we do the work. They stood out as clearly better that 98% of the bids we got. Ed is great!

Craig and the team did an excellent job repairing our roof. I got several bids from roofers for our project and they did the best job outlining what was wrong and how they'd fix it. My roof was leaking in multiple spots and I had HKC Roofing and Deer Park Roofing out to quote it. Deer Park was nearly $1,000 higher than HKC and the quote that Chris at HKC provided me was significantly more thorough than Deer Parks quote.

HKC Roofing did an excellent job. We are so happy with the new roof we received. Glen was very efficient and very easy to work with. He walked us through everything and made everything so simple. We went on vacation and when we returned the roof was up and everything was cleaned up like they were never there.
