Roof Leaking from Pipe Jack / Pipe Boot Failure:
Pipes have to come up through a roof in order to service the drains in a house. "Pipe jacks", also called pipe boots (among other names) are a type of roof flashing. These pre-formed flanges are attached over vent pipes in order to seal the roof around the vent pipe opening. Some types like synthetic rubber pipe boots crack over time from UV/Sun exposure allowing water to leak in.
However, in this case the shingles that cover the area around the pipe jack have lost their seal. Shingles covering pipe jacks cannot form the same kind of seal they do when placed on top of each other. Over time as a roof gets older and starts to weather it is not uncommon for shingles to lose their seal around pipe jacks which allows water to leak into a home or building often in a bathroom.

I had a tree break through the siding of my house and into my office in the middle of the night. My insurance company recommended AnyWeather. I had all new siding replaced on my home. Jesse Blaine came and gave me a estimate and worked with my insurance agent to get me the best price possible. He answered all my questions and was very nice and professional. The work crew came on time and kept me informed on how everything was going. It all began with a phone call to my sister-in-law that was " Who do I call? We have some roof and shutters damage from the storms last night." Shortened version. Jesse Blane came out and inspected the damage. He was really personable and totally fine with all of my questions. He advised us of the best plan of action which sounded great. The man knew what he was doing, and great at it! AnyWeather is not just about roofing. They do restoration work also, as well as other services. Next time things go south, they will be my first phone call. If I need something they don't do. I would totally trust their recommendations Great all around! Very pleased customers.

Our experience with Any Weather was completely positive from start to finish. Jesse Blaine took the time to really investigate what was going on with our roof, and he asked questions that other contractors hadn't. Because of that, he was able to correctly diagnose what the problem was, which is not an easy task when our home is over a hundred years old, and has a long history of untraditional patches and fixes. 5 months, and many torrential rains later, we remain completely leak free.
He was open and clear about what was needed and what wasn't, and he didn't try to upsell us. Communication was good and timely. My interactions with the front office were all positive and professional. Would definitely recommend to others.

Becca was very patient and took the time to explain everything. She answered all my questions thoroughly. They went above and beyond and I am extremely pleased. Her foreman, Justin, did excellent work taking off old cedar and replacing it with siding. His attention to detail was amazing. His crew was very courteous and professional. Any Weather Roofing did a great job on replacing our roof. Mike Cobb was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and was there every step of the way. He even helped us navigate the insurance claim to help get it approved. The job was done in one day. The crew was very courteous and our yard was spotless at the end of the day. We called AnyWeather roofing on two occasions. My roof was installed by another company that did a horrible job and is currently out of business, so my warranty is no longer good. Anyweather put a new roof on our home about a moth or so ago. They did a great job and was done quickly. I have not found one single nail left behind. Today I had a Nuisance and wildlife control person checking our home for any place we could be getting rodents into our house. The man asked who installed our roof and if it was a close family member because the work was A+. Thank you guys for the great work.

When we called Any Weather roofing to come look at an occasional leak on our roof/window they came out within 2 hours of us calling! Most other companies had appointments for the following week. We received an estimate quickly and the work they did was perfect. Becca was great to work with and we would definitely recommend her and this company to anyone. We'll need a roof replacement in the next year or two and will definitely be using them again.

Recommended a repair rather than new roof. Peak vent materials that were installed by the builder wore out, shingles did not. Repair vs. replace saved a lot of money. Then, to top it off, the crew saved me a final $50 by letting me know the quoted board was not needed as part of the repair. Cleaned up the job well. I was very happy.

AnyWeather Roofing is an excellent company. Jesse Blane, the owner came out and did an inspection of my roof after a particularly long stretch of horrible weather. rain and snow. The storms had destroyed my roof. And I was so glad that Jesse and his team dealt with the insurance company and and went the extra mile dealing with my insurance carrier which is located in a different state.
This company is GAF certified which I read, is given to only a few roofing companies throughout the states of Kentucky and Ohio.
