I would never recommend using this company their drivers are wreckless and drive the wrong way down ih35 service roads during rush hour traffic almost causing several head on collisions and endangering the lives and safety of everyone around them below is the driver that almost hit me coming the wrong way as I tried to turn into my work place he then blocked me and took off on foot to go to a business next door.

Chris Installed a replacement garage door opener for me. He was courteous and friendly. Did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend him.

Chris did a professional job on a spring conversion for my garage and charged $250 less than a competitor with over 1k Google reviews. The competitor charged $59 to look at the garage and provided an overpriced estimate. Don't waste your time with the competitor. Highly recommend Alliance.

We had an issue with our garage door stopping midway and it needed an upgrade anyhow. Chris was super helpful - scheduled us for the same day. Winston was the guy who did the work. He gave me all the options including just repairing it. He even suggested I NOT do some of the things I asked for since it wasn't needed yet. Everything was done in a couple of hours and the work was absolutely grade A. I highly recommend Chris and his crew for professionalism, promptness, and quality of work. I will be using them for future garage needs.

Scott came right out after we called the main business line and got us up and running in about an hour plus gave us better tension cables and new rollers something I wouldn't have thought of replacing. Our garage door was inoperable for only 10 hours at most from break to full fix.

The spring broke on our garage door and I kept forgetting to call about it until late in the day. I finally remembered at 4 PM. Alliance was able to send someone out and by 5:51 PM the job was done and the door was opening. The price was reasonable and the tech was very nice. I'll be using Alliance in the future.

Winston came out and fixed my garage door that was bending out of shape when trying to use the garage door opener. He added a strut which he said should have been installed to begin with. He had it done fast and it turned out great!

We 1st used their service in 2012 for a garage door replacement and they were very professional and affordable. fast forward to 2021, our garage opener went out and I had their number so we called them and by golly we had same day service with a new opener installed. The spring on our garage door broke last night. I put out a request on Yelp for help. While I received a few responses very promptly, Alliance was the only one that gave me an instant quote/flat price without even coming out. And, he said he could be out the next morning to fix it! The other companies all said that they could schedule an appointment and then give me a quote. Chris' communication was excellent.

He messaged me that he would be here at 10:05 a.m. Then, when he was delayed, he apologized and said it would be 10:30 a.m., which is when he made it. I truly value good communication. Chris was very friendly and efficient. He fixed only what needed to be fixed, for the exact amount he quoted me without seeing the project first.no hidden fees or add-ons after he got here.

He informed me about the condition of my unit (which is 16 years old) and gave me an array of options for when it comes time to replace it, but in no way tried to sell me something I didn't need. When the time comes, I will definitely be calling Chris to install a new unit.

Chris was a real professional. He came out in icy roads to fix the main spring on my door that snapped. I needed to get my car out to get my mother who was trapped with no power for three days. He came on time and fixed the springs in a short amount of time. Very knowledgeable and good man all around. Would not hesitate to use him again.

Alliance Overhead is a really good group of guys. They're very easy to work with and are fair. I'm happy with the chamberlain and was able to just talk to the people personally. Be mindful, they're a bit overwhelmed but their service is good

Very friendly guys. Enjoyed talking with both. However after fixing my door, it stopped closing a few days later. Finally, my wife called them for a follow up fix or consultation. Dude came by and fixed the door in seconds by adjusting the sensor. He charged us an additional $97.50 for his two seconds of "work". Something that was their fault anyway and should have been covered under their first bill. Watch your wallet.

I am a new arrival in Austin and the garage door on the house I bought was broken. I made a call to Alliance and Chris came on the same day. His service was excellent, he took the time to inspect and explain exactly what the problems were and fixed it right on the spot. My garage door's emergency release would not re-engage no matter how hard I pulled on it and the door was not functioning at all. The error code indicated I needed to replace the entire garage door motor and would have been more expensive. I decided to call Alliance Overhead Door and Chris/tech came out and resolved the issue in less than 15 mins.

He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on and I really appreciated that. Also, prior to coming out, he was in constant communication with me. He texted to provide a window of time he would be by and texted again with an approximate time he'd be at my house. There is nothing I dislike more than waiting all day for a repairman and not knowing when they'll actually show up, especially on the weekend. Chris was great! The cable came off our garage door. We found another Yelp business, but after having them out twice to fix the same problem, we decided to move on. We called this morning and were able to get Chris out by noon. He contacted us promptly to let us know an hour out that he was on his way. He adhered to all the CDC COVID precautions which our family really appreciates. Chris sought to limit contact by wearing a mask, gloves and going through our other garage door to get to the broken one instead of walking through our house.

When he was done he put the receipt in a place where I could get it and he could still be 6-ft away. One of the things I most appreciate is that he gave me some context as to what the issue was. I want to know what's going on and I appreciate Chris not assuming I didn't want to know. I feel informed. I recommend Chris and Alliance Overhead Door. I was set to give this business a 1-star rating because Chris scheduled to come by on a certain day and then never showed or notified us why he ghosted. But I gave him some grace. These are pandemic times and we all have pandemic brain. I contacted him again to see if we just fell through the cracks -- after all, the rest of the reviews here are so positive -- and he came out to our house to fix our garage door the same day.

It was a simpler fix than expected (we thought we might have to replace the entire door) and he even suggested we change out our springs because they were too strong for the weight of the door we had, causing a safety issue. So we fixed that as well and are glad that he caught that. I'm glad I gave this business a second chance; the price was right and the service was friendly.

The spring on our overhead door snapped. We called Alliance who installed the opener a few years back (not the spring that was original) and Chris came out within an hr and had our door fixed in 30 minutes with a brand new spring. When looking for a garage door repair company I called Alliance a few times and they tried to help me on the phone before even coming out to the house, which was awesome! As a result I called back again and they showed up that same day to look at the problem with the garage. They did not charge me anything for the service call.

Chris has come out to our house twice for garage door repairs. During his first visit he had to do pretty substantial replacements on pulley, wheels, and one set of springs. With a new garage door opener that had a small broken piece he fixed that for free. Furthermore the second time he came out he replaced the other set of springs making sure safety cables were installed in all.

This company is great. They are honest, reliable and work quickly. Not installed by Alliance our garage door was broke during the recent storms. They showed up the same day we called and worked in the rain because we needed to get the door working again. We will probably replace the door in the near future and we will be using them.
