Finishing Touches

Finishing Touches does superb work. They are always friendly, professional and easy to work with. They recently completed a large project for me on-budget, and did a great job. I'll definitely be using them again.

Hi Blake, Ramon and Omar recently finished replacing wood rot on the exterior and repainting and we can't say enough about what a great job they did! They went above and beyond and were incredibly conscientious in their work consulting us whenever there was a question or option for doing something another way. We truly appreciated having input and watching the work progress.

We had a complete gut and remodel of a house in Dallas. Finishing touches did a great job, . Blake, the owner and Bruce our project manager, did a fantastic job. We got 4 bids, theirs wasn't the lowest but not the highest either.but it was the most professional. I highly recommend finishing touches.

I have worked with Finishing and Touch (FT) for my first investment property in Texas in Aug-Oct. 2020. From the beginning, Blake listed all repair works line by line with break down price and project manager Zac followed up its listed items without big change order. Most contractor tends to low bits and compensate the difference with big change order. However, FT is not the same as other contractors. Actually, FT reduced my original budget to almost $5,000 by providing alternative materials and labor.

Since I am living in other state, I couldn't go to TX to check FT's work due to Covid 19 but FT provided job progressing photos and videos in their project website during construction. It truly works very well! FT is honest and very professional. I highly recommended FT and look forward to working with them in the near future.

We've used Finishing Touches on a few of our rental properties and they've always been our go-to, so when it was time to do our home's master bath remodel we chose to go with Blake and Finishing Touches once again. Blake helped us walk through the possibilities of changing the layout and creating a large "dream" shower. We had a couple other bids for this idea but really didn't trust the contractors to handle it and thought about settling for the existing layout that we didn't really like.

The fact that Blake knew exactly what to do and how to make it work, and our history with them, gave us the assurance we needed to move forward with that plan. Also, the price was right on point of where we needed it to be to make it happen. We had one low ball bid but did not feel comfortable and chose to pay a little more to get it done right. This was the smartest decision we made.

At the very end of the project we started hearing a tapping noise in the wall of the shower. Harvey (project manager, who was awesome!) and their master plumbers spent days trying to resolve this issue and even offered to tear out the shower do it again if they had to. I can promise you most contractors (and I've used some) would have given up and said "sorry, there's nothing we can do to fix that, sorry, ".

After isolating the issue we found out that it was a problem with the fixture we purchased on Amazon. The manufacturer sent us some extra parts to solve the problem and Finishing Touches finished up the job strong. And I can't thank them enough for it. Things don't always work out perfectly on rehabs but finding a contractor that will stick with you through the problems and finish the project strong is hard to find. Our bathroom turned out amazing and we plan to recommend Finishing Touches to all our friends and will definitely use them again on our next deal.

Finishing Touches is a top notch company to work with for your house rehab needs. I am an investor and FT makes the remodel process easy. Blake was able to estimate my remodeling costs to almost the exact number (he came within less than 1000!). There were no unforseen surprises like you can get with other GCs. He is very talented and I trust his work. Bruce was my project manager and he was very responsive, timely and polite.

He frequently updated me with pictures and comments almost daily. The house is now renting for $125 dollars more per month than I predicted because of the quality work from Finishing Touches.

As a newer investor. FT helped me out with my first property with an extensive remodel. Excellent service from Blake, Andrea in the office, and Zac my project manager. I felt communication was timely and very well balanced in giving me the advice I needed but still understood my vision and goals. I started this project in the beginning of COVID so you can imagine some areas were made more difficult, but somethings ended up better than planned, like upgraded appliances. No rehab is without some bumps but this company's results are of impressive. Amazing work in the Kitchen and bathroom tile. Will recommend and use in the future.

We had a complete remodel of our Kitchen (added island, pantry, all new appliances, dry bar, etc.), laundry room, and 2.5 bathrooms. Blake was great at explaining what he could do to the space as we were so unsure as to what our options were. Bruce was our contactor and always communicated the next step in the process. They finished the job way before the end time. Overall it took about a month to complete. I would reccommend to use them again.

Finishing Touches is excellent and I recommend you hire them too. Prices are fair and the back office team's professionalism and responsiveness was spot on. You are working with a well trained and well oiled machine. My beloved friend and brother in law who's home in Rockwall (a good distance from their home base) was rehabbed by Blake's team. I had concerns of delays but their team's, some from 2hrs drive away were on task, on site and extremely professional and thorough.

Although not an investment house, it was empty while rehab took place and before my brother moved in. This was not a typical hand off keys investment property, and yet they managed many change requests from the owner with grace, accuracy and speed. My brother's neighbors who knew the house prior were amazed at the beautiful workmanship and design as we all enjoyed a cookout on premise upon completion. You're in good hands with Blake's team.

This was the third time I've used them. This was a major project, final rehab around $40K with many unforeseeable issues. They were amazing. Blake, Harvey, Tammie and all the staff worked tirelessly and seamlessly to put in place a property that ultimately appraised for $8K more than anticipated.

I highly recommend Blake at Finishing Touches to be the general contractor for your next rehab project. I was new to real estate investing and looking for a contractor to handle the day-to-day of my rehabs.
