Overson Roofing

Over the decades I have hired dozens of contractors to work on my personal residencies. Due to a couple small leaks from the last rainstorm and age of the current roof I finally decided that it was time for a replacement. My criteria was to hire a company that had been in business for at least 10 years, was licensed and bonded, had at least a 4 star + customer review rating and an A- to A+ rating with the BBB.

After a half dozen comprehensive bids I chose Overson. Mike the (Estimator/Salesperson) made an excellent presentation, Antonio and crew had an excellent work ethic and Beau the (Superintendent) stopped by all 3 days to keep me updated and informed. Their price was also very competitive with the others, except for one that was ridiculous. I have done very few reviews over the years except for the businesses that I have felt have gone above and beyond expectations. They have earned all my future roofing business. If you are having roof issues I highly recommend you give these folks a call. You won't be disappointed.

NEGATIVE STARS! waited a week for them to come out on an EXTREMELY important appointment for new roof replacement in Mesa. NO SHOW NO CALL BACK EVER LITERALLY NEVER no email nothing I left so many voicemails made us wait for a week for an urgent quote needed for roof replacement and this company lied. They never showed never answered a call never returned a voicemail TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE SHAMEFUL!

I called on the 11/14 and they gave me a "soonest" appointment for 11/23. Took our business elsewhere and got the full roof replaced. With these business practices I doubt the company will be around much longer. Good thing we didn't end up using them if we needed their warranty they'd probably be MIA!

They came out and worked harder than almost any one reading this has ever worked. They did an excellent job. Only 4 star's because the price is 15% higher than any other bids taken. Another unfortunate problem is the roof looks so good the house looks to need new windows and updated paint. Seriously, the price is high but "you get what you pay for" is a real thing. Excellent craftsmanship.

Five Stars is not enough for this company they are a well oiled machine they keep there clients informed. The work was done as proposed. The roofer was very polite and a hard worker. Everything was cleaned up afterwards. The supervisor, Victor, painted the bare wood for me. This gesture was greatly appreciated. I have recommended Overson to several friends. I would not hesitate to call them for other roofing needs.

Unhappy with my former roofing company, and after listening to the experience and expertise of Overson ownership on a past Rosie on the House broadcast, I decided to give these guys a chance. I had water damage on some sections of decking that needed to be addressed before the next monsoon season. Everything started out ok, but one business day prior to the materials being delivered, I called (to check in) and spoke with Bianca and she stated that ABC Roofing was behind on deliveries and would be delivering the day after the scheduled work.

I told her that I had scheduled the day off from work to be there for the start of the job and that this wasn't going to work for me. So she told me the crew could just pickup the materials themselves and bring it with them. Not sure why I had to call to find this out. People work and I'm no exception, but she made it right. Thank you! (Side note: ABC showed up the day after the job with all the material and I had to turn them away.) Once the job began, everything went smoothly with the exception of the language barrier between myself and the crew.

I called the estimator, Beau, and asked if there was an area supervisor that could drop by for me to express some concerns. He sent Jose out, who was also somewhat hard to understand but we got through it and I had my concerns addressed. They completed the entire back of the house in one long day and did about as well as can be expected with the cleanup, especially the nails (I helped throughout the day so it wasn't that bad).

And luckily, I covered the top of my AC unit with plywood because I found dried mortar on top of it where they mortared the ends of the ridge caps and the excess fell to the ground. Would it have hurt anything? Probably not, but no matter who you use, cover your AC unit if you're having work done on that side of the house. All in all, they did a nice job and I'm satisfied!

There is a little painting to be done on and around the new flashing and undersides of the new decks (under the soffits) but it's minimal. Thanks Overson, and thanks to your crew!

Reasonably priced and appreciated that the repair work was checked again by supervisor. Richard did a good job and seemed thorough and conscientious.

We received 3 total bids, and Overson roofing gave us more bang for the buck. They showed up on time each day, cleaned up thoroughly. This was the first time i used overson roofing to replace a shingle roof and a built up roof on my patio. Mike Smyth gave a detailed estimate that i could work with and explained my roof choices so it was easy to understand. Once tear off/install started, Cesar's crew was efficient and cleaned up every day doing an amazing job. Antonio's foam crew did a fantastic job on the patio roof and removing damaged fascia. Larry and his crew were here at the time they quoted me. They worked 8 hours a day for two days and finished my 2100 sq. ft. house in that short time. Earlier this year we had Overson Roofing inspect our 10-year-old tile roof. There were some minor repairs needed which were performed quickly and professionally. They answered my questions about tile roof maintenance and longevity. After the bad storm last month (September 2020) we noticed a concrete piece on a corner of the house had shifted out of place. Overson was out the next day to check our entire roof. No other problems were found and they repaired the corner piece at no charge. We are more than pleased to have found Overson. Highly recommended.

The person providing estimate showed up and was instantly rude and completely unprofessional. I received quotes from several companies and Oversons was by far the highest. Unless you are looking for poor service with high prices check with another company.

I did not have a great experience with Overson. I had issues where they disconnected our AC when replacing the roof and then put it back incorrectly. I had to call a couple of times to get it taken care of. Parts of the roof had to be corrected upon final inspection and then they put a lien on my property when the job wasn't finished. I would not recommend this company.

We had our roof done the week of july 6th 2020, the crew that came out was excellent, the clean up job was great also, I would refer overson to anyone who needs roof work or replacement. Thank you Gail and Kevin Q.

Great to do business with. Felipe, Antonio, Ron and Lewis did a fantastic job with our hot tar roof. Interviewed 3 other roofing companies who will no longer do hot tar using the excuse of high insurance. The price was extremely fair. If you have a flat roof in need of replacement and wish to have a hot tar roof, this is the company to call. 5 Stars all the way around

Just had our roof underlay, flashing and new updated code required roof edging done by Overson Roofing, LLC. The entire process was a pleasure. Their estimator, Mike, came out on the date/time promised and went through the explanation of our roofing needs and HOA requirements with expertise, honesty and professionalism that convinced us that this was the company for us. Bianca, their scheduler, kept us updated on shipment and let us know beforehand each step of our project. Mike, their estimator, even came out prior to our re-roof job, on Christmas Eve, to remove loosely hanging edge tiles that were a dangerous hazard to our arriving guests. Supervisor Beau & crew foreman Victor worked closely with us to ensure that the new drip edge was not only prepainted close to our HOA approved color, but also brought the materials out early, so we could add a second coat in the exact required color the weekend before our install.

Their roofing crew worked harder and longer than any maintenance/remodel team we've ever encountered during our 30 year residency in this home. Work began each day at the agreed upon time and workers stayed actively working until sunset to be sure the roof was left secure and impervious to any forecasted inclement weather. One worker, Spencer, went out of his way to paint exposed flashing to match the roof at our request and foreman, Victor, was both instructive and amenable in helping us choose the best placement for the new tiles required during the process.

The crew from Overson Roofing did a marvelous job installing our new roof. They completed the installation in 2 DAYS!. The price was very competitive and there were no surprises when we settled up. That was a hard working crew and everything was completely satisfactory. Way to go, guys.

Absolutely horrendous. They are extremely loud and very slow. Do yourself a favor and go get someone else to do your roof. Terrible

I had several quotes, asked lots of questions and did a ton of research and decided that Overson Roofing was the best warranty for the price. Jan was very informative when he came out. They were quick and easy to work with. I'm so pleased with the work and I would refer Overson to anyone who needs roof work or a replacement.

We have used Overson Roofing over the past 15 years just for minor repairs. It was time to replace our roof of 22 years. We decided on Overson because of past experiences. We were so glad to go with them on the new roof. They did a first class job. Showed up every day and never stopped working. Their price included things that other companies wanted to charge extra for.

Every night they cleaned up the driveway before leaving and at the end of the job cleaned up everything. Their supervisor checked in every day to see if there were any concerns. What more could you ask for. We were super please with the job they did. First Class all the way.

I looked to Overson Roofing for help with roofing repairs when selling my home. They were very responsive, professional, and reasonably priced.all things I needed in dealing with a buyer's inspection notice. I have already referred them to a neighbor and will be back when it's time to replace the roof on my new home.

Overson Roofing did a great job on our roof. Our roof hadn't been replaced in a while and they did an excellent job. Our roof was torn up by the Monsoon in Sept and we scheduled for October. Overson completed the roofing replacement in between two big storms and completed the job in three days. They replaced sections of wood on the roof as well as installed CertainTeed Landmark shingles we requested.

The estimate was clear and concise, priced well and they helped add in the items we needed such as a roof ridge vent. The cleanup was good as well as the workmanship. The roof looks great and held up in the storms immediately after they completed. Each part of dealing with Overson was professional from quote to payment. The only thing I would improve is a more digital/online/email/text based invoice and status update service as the invoices were hard copies with no digital invoices etc.

Other than that the communication was great and pleasant which is not always the case with Arizona roofing companies. I would highly recommend Overson Roofing and will use them again in the future.

I've been very pleased w/my experience w/the work being done on my home. It was pretty painless. Work was done in 2 days. Although we haven't had any rain or storms yet, I expect their work will be as good as everything else so far. I wish I could find handymen & landscapers as dependable.

I had two bids for a roof re-felting job. I was more impressed with Overson Roofing because they were offering 3-inch metal strips while the other company was offering me 2-inch strips, which would eventually put me back in the position of having the trim being eaten away. We had a problem with the valley in the roof getting clogged due to pigeon debris. Pat Overson provided a reasonable estimate and sent the roofers to take care of the problem asap. Mr. Overson came to our house at my request due to a leak in a bedroom ceiling. He walked the roof and presented me with a detailed, most professional estimate. After several days of unexpected rain, the crew came to make the repair.

Competitive estimate. Completed the work a week after we signed the agreement. Came a day early to beat the rain. Everyone we dealt with was very professional. left no traces after the work was complete.

I asked 5 contractors to give me an estimate. Overson was prompt to come to our house and better yet, they were prompt in getting back to me with a fair estimate. It took well over a week to get estimates from the others.

As expected, Overson Roofing was a good company for the job - a new roof. Working with Joey (Estimator) and Jessica (Office contact) and the fellows who did the roofing work was pleasant and straightforward.
