Five Guys Roofing

First off this company charges $49 to come out for an estimate and doesn't apply it to the job if accepted. OK, so I paid it. The service was for my daughter's home, which I live 5 minutes awary from. I called back a couple of days later accepting the proposal after I received it. At the time the roofer found a broken tile elsewhere on the roof and said it would be replaced along with the roof repair.

It took multiple calls with multiple responses that they'll get me on the schedule. This went on for about 4 weeks. So they get me the schedule. I asked if they could call me when the roofer was on his way so I could meet him there. I was told that wasn't a problem and she'd put it on the work order. I decided to go over to the house. The scheduled time was between 11:30 and 2:30 pm.

So it's 2:30 and no one. I called, and was told they came out and made the repair first thing this morning. No courtesy call from them. I had parked my car in the garage and when I pulled out and got out of my car to close the garage door, I noticed a half dozen roofing nails in the driveway. I have no idea if one of my tires took one. I get the completed order with pictures.

I have no idea if the broken tile was replaced. I called them and advised i wanted proof the broken tile was replaced before I paid the bill. I get a call minutes later the Job Coordinator and someone else was going to come out to the house to address my concerns. It was at that time I was going to address the lack of clean up and the nails left behind in the driveway. She gave me a time frame. Again I acked if the could call me when they were on the way. No call. Two days now, and nothing from them. Very Disappointed.

One of the employees driving a company truck today on the I-10 tried to cut me off dangerously, and nearly got into an accident with another car in the brief period I was around them. If their employees are this careless while driving, I wouldn't trust them anywhere near my home.

This company solicites their business by parking their trucks in front of neighbors homes instead of parking in their driveway. I have called the company numerous times and they do nothing. I am calling the HOA next because it is illegal to park company vehicles on the street during non business hours as well as marketing in a private residence. Police will be called shortly after.

As a real estate professional I utilize this company to get me fast and accurate roof estimates to close on real estate transactions. Every time I call Jake- he is very fast and quick to respond and get out to my job within a day or two and I always get the best estimate on the market. From beginning to end, working with Five Guys Roofing was an exceptional experience. Nobody wants to do a replacement of a 20 year old roof but when it's bad, it's bad. The team at Five Guys made the sales process easy (no pressure) and provided a replacement price that beat all of the competitors. Once the job started, Joel was on-site every day providing us with personal updates and video footage of the progress.

In a nutshell, I will be enthusiastically be recommending Five Guys Roofing to my friends and neighbors in northeast Mesa (Las Sendas) as they discover their need to replace their roofs as time marches on. Great job, Five Guys.

Five Guys was contracted to do a full roof replacement. We got 3 other quotes and they were the more expensive option. We chose them for their willingness to patch an area of the home prior to the home closure due to the excessive monsoon rain. As a side note - the patch did not work. There were multiple instances where it was difficult to reach individuals at 5 guys.

Unlike other roof companies in the past, they do not fix any stucco. They also did not inform me of any stucco repairs that had to be made - I had to find them after I inspected the completed roof. Overall would not recommend due to the price, responsiveness, and quality of work. I will say that the project manager was always reachable and communicative throughout the process.

3 star experience - had multiple communication issues prior to the start of the project. Went with this company off a recommendation even though they were the highest bid out of 4 other companies. The project was completed on time however there have been a couple of quality issues within days of completion. For a company that does not do any stucco fixes on a roof - I would of appreciated at least a heads up of potential problem areas with the roof upon completion.

I found these areas myself after inspecting the completion of the roof. Due to these issues and more I would not recommend for the price. On a positive note: Our project manager was very responsive.

I had 5Guys put on a new roof nearly 3 years ago, with a 10 year warranty. Everyone from sales to service was professional and promptly fixed any issues. I have also utilized their yearly inspection and they have always been prompt and efficient with the 2, so far. However, their weekend on-call service is lacking and has left me with a significant problem due to a roof leak and I now must wait over 48 hours until their office opens on Monday to even begin the scheduling process. Apparently 5Guys is great with scheduled service but they seem to fall down on unscheduled issues.

I was referred by my neighbor and he put me in touch with Desirae on a Sunday and she got me all set up Monday. The guy who came out was right on time. So friendly and professional. They set me up for Monday but got a cancellation and we're able to fix my roof Friday. I could not be happier with every associate. They are excellent representation of the business. I will refer five guys to all my friends who need roof repair

2 young professionals arrived early and were super nice. We needed a back porch roof repaired. Previous owners did a sloppy job & left big pockets of tar which now was leaking on our newly installed turf. The 2 guys, from Five Guys, understood what needed to be done, and proceeded with the repair expertly. Most everything was done in about 4 hrs & then returned a second day for about an hour to seal everything up. We're VERY happy with the work they did and will absolutely be using them again.

We were extremely happy with the inspection and replacement of the roof shingles. In addition they removed the old swamp cooler and all its piping. They came and reconnected the air conditioner unit and redid the drain. This was done with expert service and care. I would highly recommend this company to do any roofing or air conditioning work in the future and to my family. Their pricing was extremely reasonable. All their personnel were courteous and helpful.

Five Guys has completed roofs at several of my properties. I have bid them out against other companies and they always come in at the same or a better price. They do great work and stay on schedule, when possible. They do a good job communicating any delays or changes that need to happen. After having 7 roofing companies come out give me an estimate on my roof I went with Five Guys Roofing. I appreciate that they are a small family owned business and their quote was the fairest. They came out and competed the job when they said they would and even finished a day ahead of schedule!

I used 5 Guys to repair a roof on a house I was selling. Based on their performance on that repair, which was thorough and reasonably priced, I had them quote replacing my current roof. They did an awesome job. Communication throughout the roof replacement job was stellar. The quality of work was top notch. The professionalism and attitude of the crew was outstanding. Cleanup was prompt and complete. This roofing company was honest, transparent and reliable. I highly recommend Five Guys.

I had 5 Guys do a complete walk deck and flat roof recoat along with some additional roof maintenance. Tanner did an awesome job with a thorough and accurate estimate. Then, the crew came in and absolutely killed it. Another roofer I know came over and saw the job they did. He said they did very high quality work. I could not be more pleased. Thank you!

Zero stars would be better. They did my roof last year and there was nothing but aggravation: the crew was messy and didn't clean up: they ruined my gutters with all the debris and wouldn't make good; I was picking up nails and paper for weeks after they left: they broke hundreds of tiles and the replacement tiles were a totally different color and when questioned about it said that's the best they could do: the tiles are crooked on the roof giving it a swaying look: am very concerned because if the visible portion of the job was so poorly done what can I expect from the under layer. Justin, one of the brothers doesn't return phone calls. STAY AWAY

Worked with Five Guys last year when I moved into my home to address some issues. A homeowners insurance inspection revealed a few broken roof tiles in the area they worked on. Called them and they were quick and timely in their response time. The team came out a week later and got my broken tiles replaced, no fuss, no muss. Really appreciative of their sense of urgency! Thank you!

We have used Five Guys Roofing twice. The first time was when we had a rain leak. They were quick to put a temporary patch on, and were really nice and easy work with. We had to have our roof replaced recently and were happy to use them again. Misha (in the office) was so helpful and communicated with us each step of the way. I felt that if there was a problem, we could reach out to her anytime and I really appreciated her promptness.

The crew arrived each morning and by the time they left each day, everything was clean and tidy outside. While they did drill one small hole into the ceiling (it happens) they were quick to get that drywall patched up. And after getting a roof replaced, we recommend to always check the perimeter of your house for nails - they will end up everywhere! We would use the company again and would recommend to others. :-)

Quote was outrageous compared with others. Not sure if they even understand why. Just price gouge and see if it sticks. Got the same work done with a better warranty for 30% less

Five Guys did not earn my trust. They came to check out my tile roof before I sold my house. My roof was 10 years old and had no leaks, but I knew it probably needed broken tiles replaced and other regular maintenance. Five Guys showed me pictures of dirty underlayment and said that because it was dirty that it was beyond its useful life - meaning the underlayment ALL has to be replaced.

They told me it would take over $15,000 to get my roof up to snuff. I got a second opinion from another licensed & bonded roofer in the area. They looked at Five Guys' pictures and showed me the pics they took as well. SURPRISE, SURPRISE - they said dirty roof underlayment is perfectly normal! As long as the underlayment isn't cracked or curling, I'm fine.

Five Guys' pictures showed underlayment that was not cracked or curling, just dirty. The 2nd roofer said my roof has at least 2 years of remaining useful life, that it would take $750 to get my roof up to snuff, and that if they did the work they would guarantee the roof for another 2 years. I understand that different contractors will have different opinions, but to say I need a new roof because it's dirty is suspicious, don't you think?

I have to say, I got off to a rough start initially. Five Guys had sent out a gal to do a five point inspection and give me an estimate to put up three times that had fallen off the roof. Anyway, she showed up and was in a crazy rush and an hour early. Didn't do an inspection and then blurted out a price to fix the tiles as she was running back to her van. Needless to say, I thought that was expensive for what I thought would be just a few tiles. Anyway, I didn't want to pay for the inspection since I didn't get one.

One of the owners, (or the owner) Justin, reached out to me and apologized profusely for what happened and came out and gave me a proper inspection. I was really glad he did do it! I had more than 3 tiles that were missing much to my horror. He took photos of the top of the roof. Showed me all the issues that was were going on with the roof, and gave me "good, better, best" options as far as my budget and severity of the problems I had going on.

I definitely recommend Five Guys Roofing. The really do stand by their word and do deliver excellent service and you don't feel like you are getting "taken." I opted for the "good" route to fix the urgent stuff on my roof, but when it comes to the "better, best" repairs, I will definitely call Five Guys again.

Paid them to install a clear skylight. #1 installed skylight- frosted #2 installed skylight- leaked and flooded my laundry room, they had to repair room #3 installed skylight- cracked from incorrect installation #4 installed skylight- frosted, despite the fact I reminded them multiple times it should be clear - they said this one was installed perfect, so I thought that hypothetically maybe I could deal with the ugly skylight I didn't pay for if it didn't leak. NOPE. Woke up today to multiple new leak spots.

My wood floors are ruined, my dry wall is a disaster. I've communicated with the office after every incident, then this last month crickets conveniently. What will happen with skylight #5? But more importantly, why does it take 5 skylights?! Stay tuned. I'll update if they ever fix it and it doesn't leak, and my interior is fixed.

This company is beyond amazing. From the first call i made to them for an estimate, they timely and thorough at all points in the process. As someone who runs a company I have what some would say are higher than average expectations of the people I choose to work with. Five Guys exceeded these expectations and the communication was great at every point. Alexis, Lexi, and Justin were the main people I w with and they all deserve a special thanks for their professionalism and care. _______ Bottom line they did so good on the first house we've already started the process of having them work on house #2 for us. Five Guys Roofing have just completed a comprehensive repair job on our home in Central Phoenix and we could not be happier! Several areas of our tile roof needed repair, and a flat roof was about to collapse. Justin Stowell was honestly able to guide us in making a choice between a complete new roof and the repairs. He showed us drone photos of the exact problem areas and his proposed repairs.

He let us know that the parts that did not need repair were in good condition and would last a few more years, and that the foam roof would not last very long. Once we opted for the repairs, Five Guys sent Justin and a crew to our door one week later. We counted at least 10 men clambering around our roof, making repairs, replacing tiles and sealing joints.

All the while, the foreman on the job kept us informed. Every guy was polite, courteous, and respectful of us and our property. They did not leave behind any rubbish or mess and even cleaned our roof of dead branches and leaves as part of the job. They even came back at the end of the day to make sure we were happy and then. cleaned out our gutters!

The next day, a foam crew appeared with as many men. In the space of a few hours we had a new foam roof over the Arizona room with no leaks. We will be scheduling yearly roof checks with them as well. We are very happy to recommend Five Guys Roofing to anyone needing any roofing work done. Their customer service is above and beyond any other service company we have used. Justin returned phone calls and messages promptly and made himself available to answer questions and re-visit us with material samples before we committed to the work. Most importantly, their work is impeccable.

After leaving a detailed voice message asking someone to call me, and then interacting with their website "chat" feature the very next day (requesting a REAL PERSON contact me to schedule a repair estimate) - the only sound I heard was crickets! No return phone call, no email, no text message. NO FOLLOW-UP AT ALL! As a licensed Arizona REALTOR based in Scottsdale, I'm always looking for outstanding companies I can place on my Preferred Vendor List and recommend to my clients. Rest assured, this is one roofing company I will put on my "Don't Waste Your Time" list.

Great experience with 5 Guys! Friendly but professional and knowledgeable. Easy to communicate with and hard workers. Only a couple missteps, such as the wrong scheduled date for repairs, which were fixed right away when I asked about it, and arrived 6 hours earlier than expected, which turned out fine but a phone call would have been appreciated. Overall, very happy with the price, effort, and knowledge of a smaller, local company.

Couple things I really appreciated: pictures of before and after work, quick response time via email, friendly and seemed genuine in wanting to fix my roof problem and finding the correct solution, not just the most expensive one. Would use again in the future!

Just letting you know that Jake with 5 Guys and his AC crew were here and fixed the approved problems regarding roofing and AC issues. They sure are a great crew. friendly and informative. Nice to experience workers with great attitudes!
