Express Plumbing

This is the best team I've used since I started my new house constructions at Belmont. I hired EPS to do trenching for my gas, electric, water and fire sprinkler lines. I obtained quotes from 3 different companies. EPS's quote was comparable to another company while the third one was way high. Joe, the project manager, explained all steps and fees to me patiently.

I felt comfortable to go with them and I am so glad about my decision. The whole team was amazing. Bill, the field manager was detail oriented, sincere and knowledgeable. All work was completed professionally and flawlessly within a few weeks (while most of the time were spent on waiting for inspection schedule). We passed all inspections with no surprise. In-between my general contractor threw a surprise and I have to find somebody to connect the main sewer. Joe and Bill came to the rescue.

Their team finished the additional task in no time. Since I like to see how things are done, I was on the job site most of the time. I can tell that their team has great spirit and good dynamic. This doesn't come without a good leader who respects their workers. They've definitely won my business from now on. I would recommend them to my friends without hesitations. Luis did a great job representing Express Plumbing. He was on time for our appointment, efficient with the work and able to use the remaining time in our appointment to fix a newly discovered small leak and give useful advice on re-piping needs. I will definitely use Express Plumbing again and recommend them over other plumbing businesses serving San Mateo that I have hired in the recent past.

We had a particular drain that continues to clog, had so many plumbers out on so many different occasions and it continued to happen. Their plumber came out with his supervisor Joe and they were able to identify a problem in the underground pipe a few feet away. They were affordable, quick and got the job done immediately. We haven't had a problem since. I wasn't just told what I need, I was given various options and a detailed explanation and that was very important

My technician Mike Schroeder arrived on schedule. He was very attentive to keeping house clean (ii.e., rug at entry, protection in work space). He was friendly, did a great job of explaining the problem and showing me what caused the concern. Great service!

The building adjacent to our business had Express Plumbing repair a main water line for them and most of the work needed to be done on our property. Al introduced himself and let me know they would be working on our side of the lot. Not only did they repair the neighbors leak, they tore up and put our driveway back to the condition it was in prior to repairs. The crew was clean and work was done in a very timely manner.

EXCELLENT service! I called them mid day cus the original plumber that I called refused to change a water filter. He was super patient and explained everything, as well as the next best thing in case the filter broke down again.

John Juan is the best! He is friendly, respectful, helpful and knowledgeable! This company is always on point with customer service and promptness. They have saved my house from flooding twice now!

Terrible. I ordered an inspection, was promised it would take 2 or 3 days and almost 3 months later - my calling them for updates - I would get promises of return calls - None ever came. I was promised they had gotten permit not once but twice for one project and neither time did they ever get it. They are vey good at lying and hanging up on you. They will say they will have someone call you back in an hour and that call never happens.

You get one quote that you know is too low and then someone else gets on the phone and it goes up to where it should be - But the job never gets done. They are not dependable. Owner's don't even call back. They talk over you. You ask them a question and they come back with something that you didn't even ask nor did it make any sense. Terrible - they are the worst company ever! I fired them.

Awesome plumbing company, when I called in they were very nice. We had them do two things for us, they inspected the house before we bought it, we figured it was safer to have it looked at by a plumber, and it was great. Two years later we had a drain clog because we usually bathe our little cocker spaniel in the tub and his hair does some damage let me tell you. Luckily I remembered them and still had the card in the drawer, called and still a wonderful service when you call in.

Their plumber came out, he was clean, professional, got right to work and didn't leave a mess. Everything is perfect now and they'll be my plumber for good, I recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber in San Mateo area, we're in Burlingame.

Julio was friendly and courteous. He replaced the valve that furnishes water to one of our toilets. He also removed the tank from the toilet and replaced the gasket and bolts that secures the tank to bowl. He did a good job and left the bathroom clean.
