Pegasus Pool & Spa

Just not worth hastle and stress. To be honest the contract has a "completion date" and we are 4 months from that date. The management and communication is horrible. There was one major delay communicated to us and that was shocrete. EVERYTHING, has been delayed, except my payments. Its unfortunate that the company does not care about the brand. The project is in final stagevto be completed next Thursday and was notified today it has been pushed back another 2 weeks. Excuses over and over. This post will probably push us back further. I would not recommend and stay away. If you cannot get better control of your subs then stop adding more business.

They were super quick with every aspect of the build with the exception of their deck guy Alfredo. All steps of the pool build took about 3 months and alfredo took over 2 months to complete the deck. Alfredo and his crew rarely showed up when they said they would. Overall the pool came out looking great but I have had to call them up for repairs quite frequently.

Loose travertine in multiple spots, which took alfredo and his crew quite awhile to repair. The vacuum had issues which Pentair promptly fixed. The autofill has yet to work properly, I've been speaking with the office manager Matthew for 7 months now who states they don't have any plumbers to fix the issue. They sent their pool start up guy out to look at the issue.

He said he is not sure the issue, yet Matthew is telling me it's a high water pressure issue which is not their problem. Not sure how they came up with that conclusion when they have yet to send out a plumber. Also, I haven't brought this issue up yet but during the build there was a rain storm that rusted all the rebar and i asked if that would start to bleed through.

I was told no it wont be an issue. Well lo and behold im swimming the other day and i notice two rust spots in the pebbletec. If you go with this company expect a beautiful pool but don't expect to get many of the inevitable issues you have fixed.

Mid 2020 my family decided we wanted to install a pool in our backyard. It seems like every homeowner had the same idea, out of the 7 companies I reached out to only 3 responded in timely a timely manner. Right from the moment I first started talking to Bill I knew he was serious about earning our business. He took a lot of time talking to me about what we wanted in the pool, how we intended to use it, how it will be situated in our back yard etc.

Out of the 3 companies that did give us plans, Bill's proposal was the only one that incorporated what we wanted. We made very few changes which mostly amounted to a bit wider, longer and deeper. We otherwise kept his original plan as it was really on-point. Throughout the build process Bill kept me up to date on what was happening and what the next steps were.

He was also clear about the timeline we should expect work to get done. If anything needed to be moved, he would let us know. If we had questions for him, he would respond in a timely manner and answer our questions. The sub contractors he sent out were all top notch, I could see the care they were putting into their work. We have already been swimming numerous times, and had some close family over to enjoy it as well. I highly recommend Bill and Pegasus Pools - I would use them again if I ever need another pool installed.

We had a pool built spring of 2019 and it was finished end of June that year. We had problems with the landscaping company they used who did not level anything correctly. We reached out to the owner 8 days after the 2 year warranty because I just noticed a capstone tile that was completely loose. The owner referred me to the office manager Matthew who handles the warranty problems now.

I contacted Matthew Monday and he stated the 8 days past the warranty and I clarified that I spoke to the owner David and he didn't state it was a problem. I also stated that it was most likely loose for awhile I just happened to notice it. He never called back that afternoon as stated. I followed up 4 days later and he stated "yes, he got a quote for $189 to get it repaired." I made it clear that I wasn't paying to have it fixed, but that they needed to take care of the problem.

We spent over $50,000 on a pool and backyard that was done so-so, and I had to constantly manage and correct problems in the process. Needless to say, Matthew never returned my call and it has been over 4 1/2 weeks since I reached out. I would not recommend this company. Use someone that wants to deliver good product and stand behind their build.

We had a pool built last year: terrible project management, THE WORST communication (no one can tell you what's going on, lots of finger-pointing, takes sometimes WEEKS to get simple calls returned), poor pool design (lights not uniform so the colors don't match, vacuum line position had to be redone), project manager was never around or available when needed and poor oversight of subcontractors), project manager was unknowledgeable of the products he was pushing to have installed (like deck jets) and of material availability (pavers.) The long bench that we had installed in our deep end doesn't have a straight edge and the exit steps aren't square; poor quality workmanship (again, non-existent oversight of subcontractors.) It took MONTHS and a lot of unnecessary stress to finally get the owner to just call me back.

There was a relatively small check cut to compensate for the poor workmanship of the bench and steps, but it certainly wasn't enough to remedy the overall terrible experience we've had with Pegasus. Even now, I've been waiting for nearly a month for them to come and install our salt system, same old song and dance. Also, my parents had a pool put in around the same time, and they had nearly all the same issues.

We made the decision to go with Pegasus Pools and Spa after researching and talking to a few other builders. Kane and his team were very professional and one of the few companies that could do it all from design to landscaping lighting, a complete backyard design. Kane was so helpful in giving us what we wanted and even gave us ideas that we never would have thought of to make our dream backyard. Excellent customer service is clearly a top priority for Pegasus pools as is quality and excellent workmanship. Thank you for Pegasus Pools

This review is a long time in coming but I have to say that Pegasus Pools is a "top notch" company! We worked with Matthew on our pool build (Dec 2018 - February 2019) and he was on top of the entire project. All questions were answered in a timely manner and Matthew kept us informed of all the steps, procedures, and time lines of the build from start to finish.

He beautifully designed the type of pool that we asked for and wanted. We were never in the dark on anything and Matthew made sure to inspect all aspects of the pool build. Pegasus Pools pricing was very competitive and they were much more affordable than any of the larger and better known pool builders. It is a "quality" build that my family and I enjoy from season to season (basically only two AZ seasons, warm and hot!).

We have had a few very minor issues over the past year and a half of pool ownership, but one call and/or text to Matthew and these issues were taken care of quickly and with no fuss! I must say that both Matthew's and Pegasus Pools professionalism and integrity are qualities that all businesses should have, or at least aspire to! I highly recommend these guys!

I called Kane with Pegasus Pools after seeing some great results from a few of the neighbors. I am extremely happy with the results and the service that Kane and his team provided me. My project was for a new pool and landscape design for an unfinished yard. The outcome was better than expected and the attention to detail that the crew took to finish the yard was great.

We have gotten so many compliments. And more importantly, Kane communicated every step of the way. Anytime I had a concern, he was there to answer my questions and take care of any minor issues that the project may have encountered. I've read other reviews abut Pegasus Pools that were negative but they all had one thing in common. Kane was NOT the assigned project manager!

I am not being paid for this review and my experience with Pegasus Pools is an honest success story. And oh, by the way. I priced my project out from 6-7 different companies. Pegasus by far was the best value. And the quality exceeds what I paid, for sure!

We have had our pegasus pool for awhile and we are very happy with the results! We got estimates from several pool companies and Pegasus really stood out! Out of all the companies that gave us estimates, Kane from Pegasus was the only one who physically came out to see our yard and was able to really come up with a fantastic design that worked well with our challenging yard.

He KNEW our house, that stood out and so did his service, skill and involvement throughout the build - checking in on the site often, excellent communication throughout and very HONEST and open as challenges were encountered. Weren't the cheapest or most expensive but we are very satisfied. Can't say enough good things about results from Pegasus.

We wanted to take this moment to let you know what a great job Kane Adkins and his team did building our pool. It is refreshing to meet a contractor like Kane who is driven to satisfy our needs and wants without trying to up sell everything possible. His eye for design and knowledge of products was outstanding, and very necessary when faced with our budget.

I contacted Pegasus Pools after reading some very positive online reviews, my pool was in need of a remodel job to the pebble tech roll beam which was cracking and falling apart. Most of the companies I had called didn't even bother to call me back but Chip was very prompt and made arrangements to meet with me the next day.

My pool was just finished and I have to say it was an AAA+ experience. Our rep Kane was very professional and defiantly knew a lot about the pool building process. I really loved the fact that Kane was the person I dealt with through the whole process.

Let me start out by saying if you don't speak with Kane or someone at Pegasus before you start your job you are making a huge mistake the team there is great. We feel extremely lucky that we meet up with Kane/Pegasus to do our pool remodel, to start out Kane helped point us in the right direction on all of the key decisions regarding pebble/tile color, what upgrades were available, etc.
