D & R Heating

I replaced my ancient gas furnace two years ago and added central air at that time. Everyone that I have worked with at D & R have been professional and a pleasure to work with. I had a furnace circuit board problem near the end of my warranty period and Chris came out and took care of it quickly and it has been running flawlessly since then. I signed up for the Spring and Fall maintenance and look forward to the visit to make sure my equipment is running at peak efficiency.

I am a small business owner and know good customer service when I receive it. Having quality employees like Chris, that are knowledgeable and seem to enjoy their work is a huge plus.

Can't believe they came out same day! Our hvac went down (with snow tomorrow April 13th!) and they were so helpful and got us up and running with suggestions on what to replace soon! So thankful! I have a 2 year old and as luck would have it out propane fireplace just ran out too. Literal blessing!

The technician that came to my house was very professional and polite. He had to order a part and made sure to tell me why and insured he would be back the next day. He came back the next day and fixed it and installed my new filter for me. I will recommend this company to anyone who needs there furnace fixed. Great staff and company. If you need an instal done always ask for Chris! My parents furnace was installed a year ago by D&R and the job was visually sloppy and ugly. I was told that technician is no longer with the company. Chris came out and made it right on the companies dime. He was knowledgeable, professional and very kind to my elderly mother. Service: Heating system repair

D&R installed my AC a few years ago and I was happy with their work at the time. in fact, I've had them do some routine maintenance since, and their technicians are very friendly and knowledgeable. In the Spring, I noticed damage to the ductwork in the crawlspace and asked D&R to come back and do an estimate. They did the inspection and was going to give me an estimate (the house is now a rental, so I wasn't there when they did the inspection) but they didn't call me back.

I called them and Kelly said she would have the estimator call me about the job but he never did. I emailed Kelly and she apologized and then forwarded my email to Justin and asked him to get back with me. Justin never did, so I emailed twice and still no response. I called and left a message with Justin and no response. Now, it's been months since the inspection was done, and I'm getting the feeling they really don't care and that the job is too small and they're too busy. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed by the office's lack of communication. It's too bad since the technicians are good and friendly. I understand they may be busy and not have time for my "small" job, but they did the inspection and I figured they should at least call me back. Very disappointed.

I am not sure if the good ratings are paid for by this company. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from this company, you save yourself a lot of headache. We had the company to come out and install a roof vent, we were watching the installation with our roofers, the entire job was 1 hour and 10 minutes, was supposed to be $120/hour, we got billed for 5 and 1/2 hour at a whopping $920 dollars that included $120 worth of parts at Home Depot. After we objected they reduced it to $500 some odd dollars. Not settled yet, we are filling a complaint with BBB and state licensing authority. Stay away from this company.

I'm giving them 5 stars for their customer service. This is a business that understands the times we're in. They waived the inspection fee, as a courtesy, after their technician arrived and found the issue was resolved. We definitely need more businesses that care about its customers than just bottom line profit such as this D&R I will absolutely call them again if our AC needs service

Kelly and Chris both worked around wife's schedule she works from home to fix our air conditioner Kelly moved up appointment a day from a annual maintenance to a needed repair and Chris when he arrived was very professional and respectful of wife's zoom calls and tele conferences to get the job done. My experience with D&R Heating and Air was wonderful! I had three other bids given on replacing my old heater and installing a heat pump. D&R's offer was the best deal by far! Antonio arrived at my house on time, pointed out some really great tips that other companies had not mentioned - originally I wanted the heat pump to go on the side of the house, he pointed out that this was possible but it would severely limit the access I had to my side gate.

He was 100% correct on this and I can't believe the other guys didn't think of this. He also wrote out a few different options with no pressure to go with one over the other. He was on time and followed all the safety guidelines for COVID (face mask and distance). When I finally made my choice, I called Natalie in the office. She was both polite and helpful.

She was able to fit me in the schedule within 2 business days! The other companies said 2 weeks - what a difference! When the installers arrived, Mitch and Jeremy, they got to work right away. They also followed the current safety guidelines, which really brought me comfort. I asked them if I needed to move anything to make the job easier and they said not to worry about it, they could work around my crazy messy garage.

They also went above and beyond when they returned the following day to show me how the system worked. I'm guessing this is ordinarily done on the day of installation but I had an appointment in the afternoon and wasn't able to stick around. They were in no way obligated to return and yet they did! Super thoughtful and helpful. The whole experience was incredible. If you're looking for a new system, I strongly recommend giving D&R Heating and Air a call. You won't regret it!

Very happy with all aspects. Availability of scheduling an appointment was very timely. Frank was professional and efficient, in and out in less than an hour. Appreciate notes discussed on the phone made it into the appointment and were read which seems rare these days. Thank you!

Victor, Antonio and Andres came out and replaced our dilapidated A/C and Heatpump today. They were extremely professional and friendly. They did top notch quality work at competitive rates. I highly recommend this company and will be providing them with business from myself and my customers for years to come. Thanks again everyone for making this experience as pleasant and possible!

After the ice storm and being without power for 4 days, everything came back on but our thermostat was dead, so power was back, but we still had no heat. Called around town, starting with my regular folks, and they couldn't get anyone out that day. Called D&R and they dispatched Paul the same day. He arrived on time (10 minutes early, in fact) and got right to work.

He diagnosed the issue quickly but stuck around to test the whole system and was very thorough. Wore a mask the whole time and was very clear in his explanations and options. Got us up and running quickly for a very fair price and a few weeks later everything is still running smoothly. Will definitely be using D&R for my future HVAC needs. Recommended.

This is the second time we've had the pleasure of doing business with D & R Heating and HVAC. We're having some remodeling done and once again, Victor and Andreas were awesome! They're knowledgeable about their trade, they're polite, professional and work quickly. This is a great company to call on for your AC/Heating issues.

From the initial estimate through installation the new furnace they sold us was all done professionally, safe (in masks) and courteous. Antonio did the estimate and installation and he was great, specifically explaining his diagnosis and recommendation and doing a smooth install as well. Highly recommended.

Really great, completely forgot about the appointment to have them inspect our AC unit for the house. Juan was a pro and was taking apart the unit and cleaning it in a few minutes. He showed and told me what condition all the components were in and asked the status of the furnace filter. I told him we replace it every 3 months to which he said that is what we should do. He also gave me tips on how to maintain everything in between inspections. I will call this business in future needs.

Great service! Great Price! They were able to send someone out fast and the price was super reasonable. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable, and after diagnosing the issue with my HVAC he gave me an honest assessment of my options. My AC was up and running in no time! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

My air-conditioning went out last night. I called D&R this morning and they had a guy out at my house within 15 minutes. My fan went out and they rushed downtown to pick up a new one before the store closed. They were wonderful to work with and got my air-conditioning back up and running in no time. I will definitely use them again!

We had to have our furnace replaced and the company to which we were referred by NW Natural Gas came back with an astronomical quote, so we started looking around for other options. We found D&R Heating on Angie's List and contacted them for a quote. They were prompt in returning our call, told us over the phone what it would cost, gave us the name of the type of unit that they would suggest putting in and told us to research it online, which was a nice piece of advice, and gave us time to do the due diligence. When it came to actually replacing our furnace they were fast, prompt, courteous, professional and did a fantastic job. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Our oil furnace went out and the company helped make sure our heat was back on quickly since we were experiencing a very cold snap (they went above and beyond driving back to the shop then back out to our house with parts at the end of the day). The technicians were friendly and professional and explained all the options and possible costs for us. It was nerve wracking at first to have to meet a new furnace repair service during an emergency but I am so glad we found D and R.

I purchased my place last year and many things remained mystery me. Frank came to service my furnace and was more than happy to educate me everything I wanted and needed to know. I've learned the previous owner didn't service it as they stated, my furnace is top of the line and functioning just fine. He used many equipments to inspect inside abd outside of my furnace efficiently, and was done around 40 minutes or so. Over all, I'd recommend D&R and Frank if you need furnace service!

Our furnace started to make some funny fumes which I had been smelling for about a month, so I finally called the gas company who quickly condemned our furnace. We were referred to another company who came back with a crazy high price to replace the furnace. We decided to look around and called D&R to get a second opinion. They were quick to respond, gave us a reasonable estimate, (about 1/2 the cost of the other company), and installed the new furnace the very next day.

This is an excellent company - they are transparent about pricing and honor their estimates. Everyone, from the repair team to the project manager, was professional and pleasant. I hope we never have to buy a new furnace, but if I do I would recommend this company to anyone.

D&R just charged me $119 for a 30 second job - relighting the pilot light on an older water heater. Simply unbelievable. I don't care what your standard service charge is, that's just unacceptable to be so unwilling to make any change for such an exceptionally easy job. There was no other work done. None. No hardware checkup or cleaning, no getting into a difficult spot, nothing challenging whatsoever.

I even cleared the area ahead of time so it was easily accessible for the service tech. He was nice enough about it and said he wished he would've talked me through it over the phone. Yet I repeatedly told the scheduler over the phone that I was pretty certain the pilot light just needed to be relit since the gas was off while I was out of town.

Never having worked on a water heater before, and unfortunately having had multiple gas appliances literally blow up in my face in the past, I just wasn't about to go messing with it myself. So this was as clear a case as you'll see of a company not caring enough about their customers to properly take care of them. So disappointing being so drastically overcharged like this. Next time I might just risk taking another fireball to the face.

D&R heating and air is a great company. We've had our furnace maintenance done by them. when we had an emergency they called back on a weekend and came out very quickly the next day. Figured out the problem and was able to do the fix the same day. They are very reasonably priced compared to other places. Thank you for the great service Jerome & Deonna

D&R maintain a shop near where I work. so when the hot surface burner in my home furnace broke over this last weekend I stopped in for some help. They were quick, courteous and helpful and told me they could have it installed that afternoon as it was near their last job of the day. As a contractor myself, and one who manages crews, I know how tough it must have been to get another job tacked on for the day but they made it seem normal to have this good of customer service. Many thanks to Rick and Frank and the rest of the crew there!

I hired D&R to do regular Furnace Maintenance on a forced air gas Trane furnace with one week lead time. Then a renter applied to lease and needed to move in 3 days after their application was approved. I called them with my challenge and they moved the appointment to SAME DAY. Wow! This is spectacular customer service and very much appreciated. Thank you for coming through!

This company is top notch. Their technicians showed up clean, organized and on time. The vehicles were crystal clean and they knew exactly what they were doing. One tech even had an emergency call and they were able to resolve a client situation in just a few minutes while in the middle of my job. Honest and fair is a high standard and hard to achieve in the industry. Don't look at price when it comes to keeping your family warm in the winter, cool in the summer and safe all year round. If you want a cheaper HVAC company i'm sure you can find one. I wouldn't put that risk on my families livelihood.

Corie and his team do a great job! Corie has also been out to fix my heater during the cold winter months working me into his schedule. D&R was able to do my air con install within a few hours of arrival and without any hassle.
