We've had the pleasure of Queen City Hardwoods completing two outstanding projects at our home. The first was refinishing our existing hardwoods a couple years back and now, a hardwood install in our kitchen. The kitchen originally had tile throughout which was removed by Queen City Hardwoods prior to the installation. Josh and his team are knowledgeable, professional, hardworking and friendly.
The crew stayed on schedule and cleaned up each day before leaving. Josh's experience in his profession and passion for providing quality results shines through our newly installed hardwood floors. Highly recommend using this company for anything hardwoods!

Working with Josh and his team was a wonderful experience. From the selection process through completion, they exceeded our expectations. You don't see this kind of attention to detail and fine craftsmanship very often today. They transformed our home, which had many challenges, into a showcase home. Josh's team did an outstanding job from start to finish on our hardwood floor refinishing project! After a nightmare experience with another company, Josh and his crew came in to save the day! We were well taken care of from the initial quote to the final coat of poly. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and professional and does the highest quality work at fair prices. He was fantastic throughout the whole process from initial evaluation, to quotes, to final install. even despite a few unanticipated and unforeseen changes in plan required by the circumstances and design of the house. Not only is the finish a perfect color, but the repairs were done perfectly and the floor looks consistent throughout our entire home.

Queen City was referred by some friends, as we were looking to have all our hardwoods refinished as well as new hardwoods installed in the kitchen to match the originals. Josh and his team did a fantastic job and were great to work with throughout the entire process! They were able to perfectly match the newly installed hardwoods with the originals, repair some spots in the old hardwoods, and finish all the floors to have a consist look throughout.
We have been extremely happy with the final product, as well as how easy it was to work with them throughout. I would recommend Josh and his team for your next project as the quality was exceptional and fairly priced.

I was in the market for some new hardwood floors while doing some upgrades in my house and came across Queen City hardwoods. Josh came out and gave me a quote and explained everything very thoroughly. He obviously knows what he is talking about and made me feel very confident with my decision to hire him. The floors he installed were beautiful and I couldn't believe they weren't more expensive!
He followed up with me to ensure the job was completed to my satisfaction and ensured I knew how to care for the floors so they would last as long as possible. I would recommend josh and Queen City hardwoods to anyone who needs new hardwood flooring installed or even refinishing. It was worth every penny!

Josh is a great guy! He and his team completed the job of refinishing and also installing a whole new floor in one of the rooms in a total of 3 days. Josh came out to meet me and explained everything he would need to do to refinish the floors and had his team come out that same week, removed an entire floor from a room and installed the new floor for it to be ready for staining along with rest of the home.
My floors were in pretty bad shape before Josh and his team came out (bought a fixer upper) and now they look great with a provincial satin stain! I highly recommend Queen City Hardwoods, Josh is very personable, down to earth and always kept me updated about the progress of the floors. I appreciate that it is a local Charlotte business and not a corporate conglomerate!
