Eren Design & Remodel

Sorely disappointed in Eren Design and Remodel. My neighbors recommended Eren Design for an estimate on a master bathroom remodel. I called and an appointment was made for initial visit by Kristie. After our consultation, Kristie noted my e-mail address and assured me an estimate would be forthcoming. After a week of no response, I called and Stephanie told me I'd have my estimate within the hour.

I made sure she had my email address and she repeated it. Nothing was sent. I called the following week and was told Stephanie would get my message. I emailed Kristie as well. No response from anyone at that company. If they didn't want my business why not say that from the get go? Such unprofessional and shoddy treatment from this company.

They were non responsive and poor communicators. Took our money and didn't even finish the design. Then sent us a letter informing us that they could not finish the design process with no explanation. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I contacted these guys as they are allegedly the SAHBA Remodeler of the Year for several years in a row. I was wasting my time. They advised of the date they would come to look at the project but promised to call and advise of the exact time of arrival. They didn't. They showed up at 7:50 AM. The estimator was very pleasant and they did forward an estimate the same day. However, when I called to ask questions about the estimate, they would not return my call (2X - and I left a pleasant message both times). Also, the estimate was for 3-5 times the other estimates I had received.

It appears that they were never really interested in doing the work for me. If the job was too small, they should have just said that - I would have understood. Given their splashy adds, one would think they were great. They are worthless and apparently, my experience is not unusual. Mike F. 11/16/2021

Critical: Responsiveness All about money, and judgement but, they shouldn't assume too much about people and how much money they can squeeze out of people. They will lie about contacting you if they think they can't make enough money out of you.

Eren delayed getting started on our project, and then fired our designer because her projects were behind and incorrectly measured. After bringing on our new designer, who discussed budget with us and told us that our ideas/selections were on target, we continued to have to hound Eren to follow up on the timelines they had set for us. After nearly six months with no scope or estimate, and many conversations about budget, we met with them where they informed us that our estimate was twice our budget.

This is less than a week after the new designer asked us to reconsider backsplash tile selections because they would "put our budget at risk, " which seems strange if we had already doubled it. Their service was so bad they proactively offered to refund their design fee, but have held the selections list they had promised hostage. We requested a meeting with the CEO, even sending her a certified letter in the mail, and we've heard nothing back. Eren's attitude right now is that it's a really busy market, and they know that you'll feel the sunk costs when they have you over a barrel and continue. Because if you don't, there are three other customers out there just waiting to get into the pipeline.

Very unprofessional. They kept losing information. Had to give it to them several times. They set up a time to meet. Times were wrong. And the day it came to meet, they canceled a few hours before and said they didn't want to do the job. They could have at least looked at it then said sorry we aren't capable of doing the work. I'm a professional contractor and I would have never done that to a potential client with a 80k budget for a garage. Very disappointing.

Was Looking to have a butlers pantry installed in my kitchen. Left 2 messages on their answering machine, and filled out some information on their website which contained my phone # and what I was looking to have done. It's going on 3 weeks, and never got a call back. I guess they don't need the business.

This is the third major remodel that Eren has completed for us, with Terry serving as lead contractor. They converted a large living area into two bedrooms and a shared bathroom and upgraded existing windows. The project was completed on time and on budget. I appreciate working with Eren because of the care they take to protect the work site and the fact that they are so dependable.

All the subs they hire and held to their high standards and they are incredibly responsive to any concerns we have during and after the construction. We had plans from an architect but we were able to work with their designer to make changes which made the project more reasonable.

Eren's is a wonderful design company that does it all. They have remodeled our kitchen, family room, fireplace and three bathrooms. Kelly has been our designer for each project and her designs are always exactly what we are looking for in our updates. She listens to our vision and delivers spot on. There is pride in the company. They want the customer to be totally satisfied with the end product. If something isn't exactly what we expect they change without question. So happy to have found them.

After researching several design companies and meeting with two in person we felt an immediate connection with Janice, Kelly and Gabby, at Eren Design. They were so personable and listened to our ideas about how we wanted our home to function. It was a whole house remodel, and converting the garage into a new master suite. After designs were drawn up we were able to make any changes we wanted until we were satisfied with the total plan. Gabby gave us suggestions with the things we had no idea about and the team came over in force to check out the house.

We found the team easy and fun to work with. There are so many details involved in a home remodel that it made my head spin. Everything progressed smoothly from beginning to end. All the people who worked on our house were efficient and the job was cleaned up every day. The job went more smoothly than I ever imagined and we are back in the house. I love everything about our house, it fits us, and, I know that if there is a problem with anything that Eren will fix it!

I will miss seeing them because they have become friends, so I guess I will have to pop in to say hi every once in a while, or do another project! Thank you for making our house a home for us. We have recommended Eren design to friends and would recommend Eren design to anyone.

It was a pleasure to work with Eren Design on two remodeling projects with spectacular results. Our first project (2004) was a total home remodel, inside and out -- anything that could be changed was changed. The second (2012) was a smaller extension and "tweaking" of some spaces All were done professionally and expertly, with attention to every detail, excellent support and assistance in making design decisions.

Thanks to the remodeling by Eren Design and Remodel, we now enjoy our home more. No other company saw the remodeling possibilities of our space. In addition to the steam shower and exercise room, Eren Design and Remodel even found room for a new nine foot closet.

I contacted Eren Design & Construction to fully renovated my kitchen, add a bathroom and create and outdoor space. My whole dream was to be able to walk out my kitchen door onto my patio. I've had enough bad small remodel jobs to look outside my box. I did some research and found Eren D & C on the internet with good reviews. The problem. OUT OF THIS WORLD OVER CHARGING! 1.

Extremely over charges on everything! 2. They add an 8% charge too. 3. The only way to know what something costs is to have it removed once you have their bid. 4. They never over bid, because I asked if I would get a dollar adjustment if they were under the bid and that is what the owner said. If money is not a problem and you are very generous or you live out of town and this is a second home. And you don't mind not knowing what the real cost of your project is. The good news is they are extremely thorough. If this is you, you will do well by this company.
