Noticed that my air conditioner wasn't working at 7:30 pm when the temperature hit 82 degrees. I called Sun Kool emergency service number immediately. My call was routed to voice mail. I requested emergency service and left my name and number. They did not contact me during the rest of the night. I called again at 8:30 am the next morning and got through to a person.
She said they had not yet completed processing the previous night's calls. She put me on the schedule for service between 1 and 5 pm. The technician, Robert, arrived at 5. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem (capacitor) quickly (explaining everything along the way) and replaced it. Problem fixed, but.it was a long, hot day!

James is a professional I called them out to give me a quote on a new system that I will still need I thought my unit was dead, James insisted on looking at my unit first and did some troubleshooting 15 minutes later he had it running. I got a reasonable quote on a new system and will let Sun Kool install it. Great customer service thank you

Critical: Value They wanted 6,000 dollars for a simple minisplit install. The units themselves run 1500 dollars so they wanted to charge 4,500 for a half days labor. Incredibly greedy. Great business model though. Rip off some tubes use said profits to purchase google reviews to wash out my bad one.

Don and Tyler did an amazing job! They were very professional and hardworking individuals with great sense of humors. Dudley, came out because our handler stopped blowing. He quickly diagnosed the issue. What made me willing to stop and leave a review was the amount of time he spent explaining the issue. He explained every detail of the issue and what needed to be done to fix it. It allows me, the customer to make very informed decisions. A very knowledgeable and sincere employee.

We have used Sun Kool for years.and have always been completely satisfied.they have installed a 'zoned' system in my home. Our Master Bedroom, on the South West side of the house, was always to warm. A zone with it's own thermostat fixed the problem. We have found that they are one of the few companies that actually know the advantages of having different zoned systems thoughout a house. Most company's at that time wanted to sell us seperate systems. A highly recommended company.

Sun kool's. The woman in customer service is the worst person i have ever deal with. Every time the technician come out and replace a parts, after they leave it get worse. I move in this new home lest than a year and already they had to replace the capacitor and the blower motor. Each time they come out to replace a part they charge me a service fee.
No one in that company can give you a service fee price before they come out. I had to pay a service fee of $303.48 just for them to replace a blower motor that take less than twenty minutes to put in. After putting in the motor the unit can not turn off. I let the manager Shawn know the system keep running even doe i turn the system off the motor is still running and my light bill would be high and he reply it would not be high it is like turning on a toaster. How rude. He is sending some one to put in a relay.

My parents called Sun Cool after their unit shut down Labor Day weekend. A technician came to the house, said a part was needed. Apparently this part is not kept in stock and had to be ordered. Was told would take 3-7 days and would be expedited. Over 85 degree temp in house, SunCool offered no temp AC - parents are in their 80's. It's been 8 days, still no part!
You can imagine our family worrying about parents w/o AC. Sister, Brother flew down from NY to check on parents. This is bad business. Parents have had Sun Cool 20+ years and this is how they are treated for being loyal customers! No acceptable. Do not use this company. They do not care about their loyal customers. Pray my parents will get relief soon

I recently purchased a home and had issues with my A/C pulling an excessive amount of power causing my electric bill to be very high. The day I received my bill I called Sun Kool put in a claim and they were at my house fixing the issue in less than 2 hrs. From the technician who came out ( I wish I remembered his name he was amazing) to the communication via email with Kasey Kindle and by phone. The Customer service, professionalism and promptness to resolve my issue was outstanding. Thank you Sun Kool for delivering 1st class customer service.

Spoke with an after hours technician when my AC cut out. He made it very clear he as busy and really didn't want to come out. He told me it would be a $99 service fee to come out, and even after I told him that was fine he continues to pressure me to just have sales come out in the morning to get a new system ordered. He advised that based on the age of my unit, it would need to be replaced and it would be two weeks before it could be put it.
He was rude and clearly annoyed at having to work. He told me it would be "a while" before he came out since he had 5-6 people ahead of me. I ended up telling him not to bother. I went with someone else who had my AC back on it minutes. I posted a comment of my experience on Facebook, which was followed by a rude comment, deleting of the comment and then me no longer being able to comment on their page. Shady business practice.

I was sweating it, another company tech did not call in advance, so I missed the technician's arrival. I called Sun Kool around 4-5 pm, and they were able to get a repair person to us the next day. David was very kind & polite, the service was excellent, and my AC is working a mere 24 hrs later! Thank you David & Sun Kool!

Basically looked at the unit for five minutes and then told us we needed a new AC and tried to sell us one. After he left my husband decided to look around and the cooling vent tube thing(that's the technical term) had come off and was blowing cold air into our attic. $.05 worth of duct tape fixed the problem and it works great now.

Came out to check the problem with our A/C unit. Wife told the tech it was a failed copper line. Was here less than 30 minutes and charged us $175.00. Another company ripping off Villagers. Never again, and will tell everyone I encounter with any air conditioning problems. Now, onto more social media.

Had a tech come out today to check out a problem with our a/c. he was rude, nasty, argumentative from the minute he got to the house. called the company, spoke to someone and informed them what happened. do not recommend sun kool or will i ever have them here again. going to let the community know not to use them too.

Very disappointed with level of service. Technician spent no more than ten minutes to tell me my best option was replacement of the entire unit estimated to be $3694 after rebate, or $450 for a new compressor which would be only a temporary cure for the cooling system. Then handed me a bill for $89.95 for coming out because I could not possibly expect an evaluation with no charge.
Seriously should tell customers there is a charge for just coming out and Yes there are other honest, more affordable providers that not only will evaluate at no charge, spend more than an hour fully assessing the issue, but they are nice and willing to work with out-of-state owners that have hectic schedules. Would never recommend Sun Kool!

If there was a no star I would have given them that. We called on a Wednesday and Friday they had not gotten there yet. We called again only to be told that the tech had stop & left messages on both phones and that was an outright lie. We would never recommend this company to anyone. Ashley was the women taking care or our call. Someone was not being honest in this company and it was either her or the tech. Either way I give then no stars!

Around three o'clock in the afternoon I noticed water leaking from my ac unit. Called Sun Kool and they had their tech Jason Keegan give me a call to set up time to come look at the problem. Assuming I would have to wait until tomorrow, because I had to leave my house and would not be home until 8 that night, Jason assured me he would get it taken care of that night when I got home.

A year ago I called for a check up, they came out for the checkup. Nothing was wrong with my A-C unit before they came. I was told my unit was Low on Freon, motor on it's way out, Leak in coil, temperature to high & Said I needed A New Unit and he could put one in for Only $5,500.00 I called their office and told them My A/C was working fine. They sent out another technician within a hour and he said the unit has NOTHING WRONG with it. AND they had The Nerve to charge Me $69.99. Never Again!

I gave sunkool 3 chances. I first tried to get ahold of them when my ac wasn't working correctly. Went to their website, tried to call but no one picked up because it was a Saturday. Online they have where you can put in your information to request an appointment. I did that, was sent a confirmation email stating someone would get back to me to set up an appointment.
No one ever called even after a few weeks. The second time I called during business hours. I called them about 8am. They said they would have a technician at my house by 2pm. Awesome! I was happy someone was going to look at my unit that same day. At noon I got a call from a technician asking if we were home because he was in the area. Great! I was happy they were 2 hours early!
We could spend the rest of the day doing something else. Well, the tech shows up, looks at our unit real quick, says he doesn't have the right tools and says he will be back in a couple of hours.ok. Well he leaves. It's a little after noon. Well.he does not come back nor does anyone call. We wait until almost 5pm. We call the technician and he tells us that he is on another job a ways away and that they are sending another tech.
Well I called sunkool back, they say they will call me right back about when the tech is coming over and they will let me know in 10 minutes. Well, the tech who told us he was too far away on another job calls us.30 minutes later.asking us if we were home because he was outside. He looks at our system and tells us it's the evaporator coil. Gives us our statement.
We pay him, he leaves. Well the next morning we noticed he left his tools in the garage. Well he called us first thing Monday morning when he was outside of our house to get his tools. Good thing we were home. I also tried to call sunkool to ask how much and when we could get our evaporator coil changed. First time I called I accidentally got hung up on.
Next time I called, I got transferred to their parts department where I left a message. Well, it's been a week and no one has called me back. I was so disgusted by their service that I managed to get ahold of someone else to change the evaporator coil. I had a couple of people who recommended them to me, but never again.
