I've used Jansen a couple of times and both times they have been wonderful. Stephen, my technician this time was very knowledgeable and helpful when doing my AC preventative maintenance work on my unit. I have used Jansen since the late 70's. While I have always been pleased with their service, recently I have had a service man that has been very special. His work is efficient and he cleans up completely, but in addition he is never too busy to explain what is happening with my AC and Furnace. This allows me to make informed decisions. I have had Devon as my service person several times now and personally I hope he continues to be my service person. Jansen is my go for all my AC and furnace needs and I highly recommend them.

Highly recommended, one of the best local contractor experience we have had! Jansen replaced the old electronic air cleaners, from our three Carrier HVAC units, with high-efficiency paper filters. Excellent communication, both phone and electronic, on-time, as-promised, excellent work, left no mess, will definitely use Jansen again. Called Jansen today to repair a $12k boiler they had previously installed. Was told my account was suspended for lack of payment. While it's true I hadn't paid a previous $79 service charge, their notes did not list the issues this unit has had from first installation, that led to that lack of payment. Jansen previously acknowledged these issues and even provided an extended warranty as a result.
I explained this today, and that I would gladly pay for the new service and not hold them responsible for past issues with installation. As I believe the current boiler problem appears to be a new issue from wear and tear. After reviewing with the new owner, the manager still declined to service my boiler. I'm sure Jansen will respond that they are under new ownership and cannot corroborate my story. But with only $79 balance outstanding and the word of a customer, I'd probably take that chance and do the work. Their choice, but a poor one.

Excellent and very professional. They fixed our furnace, heat exchange problems. Their entire team was quite responsive. They diagnosed the issue quickly, provided the quotes, discussed the options, performed the job all within span of 3 days. David and Xavier replaced my old furnace with a new carrier. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and professional from the on-time beginning to the early completion. They answered all my questions thoroughly and quickly rearranged a drain configuration at my request. It is a relief knowing my home was in good hands. Highly recommended.

David, Jeremy, and Xavier installed a completely new Bosch heating and cooling system in our home. They did an excellent job, and are courteous, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to make sure everything is working perfectly. The work area was left spotless when they were done, too. The technician/salesperson I spoke with on the phone also safely visited my home to review what I thought I wanted compared to what he thought I needed. (Previous to his arrival I received visits and quotes from 3 other companies.) He treated me with respect without pushing anything he might have been incentivized to sell. He patiently listened to me without interruption, answering each and every question I had including one follow-up question after he left my home.
I felt a strong sense of trust in his abilities, knowledge and understanding of my personal home needs. I received a detailed quote complete with full warranty and maintenance information from him in a timely way. I chose to purchase a slightly better unit to replace the broken one I currently have. My new unit was able to be scheduled to be installed within ten business days of my decision to use Jansen.

I called Jansen multiple times between May 26th and 27th to try and get a technician in my home to determine why there was water all over my floor from my HVAC unit (furnace). On my last phone call of the 26th, which was after hours and after I had called other companies trying to find someone available, I was told that I would be called back in the morning to schedule an appointment.
I was not and I had to call myself. On May 28, a technician was sent to my home and he determined my pump had failed. The drainage pump was replaced and the drain was checked to make sure it was clear. On June 6, I found water all over my floor again. I called and the technician arrived a day later, said the pump was faulty, and I'd have to get a replacement.
He did not have a replacement for me in his truck, and he told me that I could wrap a towel around the pump and it would be okay until another technician was sent. I was under the assumption I would be called sometime in the same week to create an appointment to fix this problem (again, for something Jansen installed and determined broken). I was not called back.
On June 15 I called and was told the only availability was June 24. I made the appointment, trying to be patient as there's a pandemic. Once I noticed mold and water damage, however, my patience went out the window. Multiple associates at the Jansen front desk were rude to me when I would call, and did not take me or my concerns seriously. The technicians are nice enough, but their pleasantries does not change the fact that I: - Paid $457.16 for a water pump to be replaced, which was determined broken on installation by the second technician. - Was never called by their office to set up a follow-up appointment after the second technician informed me he did not have a pump in his truck. - Now have damaged floor tiles, water damage in my walls, and damaged trim from the water leaking from the pump that Jansen installed. - And to top it off, the issue was a ripped tube that took ten minutes for a licensed plumber (unaffiliated with the company) to fix.
As of this time, I have not been issued a refund. Edit 6/23: Still no refund and no attempt to contact me to correct damage that Jansen's technicians caused. But I'm glad the owner has time to comment on five star reviews.

Chris and Jason arrived on time and started checking my furnace and heat pump. They were 10 years old and I was told I may have to replace them. Chris said I had a leak in one of the hoses in my heat pump because another hose had worn a hole in it due to the vibration. He showed me a picture of the leak before and after he fixed it. It ended up costing me $1000.00 less than estimated.

We recently purchased a Carrier air conditioner from Jansen Heating and Air. The day Mike Wedding came out we were just getting estimates. To our surprise, he fixed our old one so we could have air conditioning in the 90+ degree heat, he would NOT allow us to pay him for his kindness and he had no idea at that point who we would choose to do the job. He did it for our convenience! Wow!
