Alternative Roofing

My neighbor had them work on his gutters and when he saw that I had several companies come by and try to fix the problem it would only resolve until the next big storm he told me about Alternative Roofing and said that other people in the neighborhood have used them also and are very happy with the long term results. I called them and they came and assessed the problem plus I showed them some areas where the seams were coming apart a little and causing a leak in the bathroom ceiling. Additionally, the corner flap of the roof had flown up.

The price that they sent was really good for all of the repair work. I called in another company and the price that they offered was much more and that price only included the gutter repair. Dennis came and with his co-worker and did an excellent job, they explained everything so that I could understand it and they asked me if I had any questions to make sure that I wasn't confused about future maintenance (I am an older single woman). The job was neat and they just went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this company.

I have owned several properties in Federal Hill, Baltimore for over 45 years. There are 8 different roofs on these buildings. We purchased a new roof and 2 skylights. Did a very good job with clean up and nails - still found a few but that is to be expected - just keep inspecting your driveway, esp. after a heavy rain - found a few nails. Overall we are happy with the install. Make sure to get some samples and put them in the sun\shade - the sun\shade alters how the shingles look from the book.

I've been around contracting for a long time. These guys could have cut corners in many places and they didn't. They also could have run up my bill and they didn't (I told them 3 sheets of sheathing needed replacement, they told me no, just one). Their estimator was great. Their foreman was great and their clean-up was over the top.

We had a leak in our roof that was coming in at the ceiling in the master bedroom/bathroom. Alternative Roofing got on the roof (the only one of 3 companies to do so) and took pictures of the leak areas as well as some other minor fixes they wanted to do and emailed us the results. Their price was very fair and they did the work in a timely and professionl manner.

Great customer service. Even went out the day before hurricane Irene and put a temporary fix in place to get us thru the storm and the following tropical storm before we even signed a contract. Clark is very easy to work with and very helpful. I would definitely recommend alternative roofing to anyone who needs a roof repair and probably a new roof too.

With a comprehensive diagnosis of my repair needs (an understandable explanation plus detailed photographs) and a clear list of actual work accomplished, Alternative Roofing gave me customer confidence, as well as a fair shake on the price.

What's not to like? This job was for my Mother-in-law who lives 40 miles away. I needed everything to go smoothly for my own sanity and I needed to get a quality job done for her for at a reasonable price. They provided a very competitive quote (I got quotes from 4 contractors), did everything they said they would, when they said they would, and I believe they did a high quality job.

Had them come out for roof inspection, repair and certification within a very tight schedule. Their staff was amazingly accommodating, responsive and professional, explaining clearly and guiding me through each step.
