Meticulous Plumbing

Josh from Meticulous Plumbing did an excellent job refitting our new countertops with a drain rebuild and faucet installation. Plumbing work is always sticker shock (figure what seems reasonable then multiply that number by 3) but I have no issues with the quality of the work. I do think their prices are competitive with other professional plumbing services, and the communication was awesome.

Some ballpark figures so you won't be overly shocked. Installation of a customer provided faucet $450. Installation of a garbage disposal $450, rebuild the sink plumbing (pvc pipes, connections) $570. In retrospect I would could have installed the faucet, it consisted of screwing in a single retaining washer and nut, attaching the hoses to the outlet and counter weight.

But the technician's skill of figuring out the angles and replumbing the drains was certainly out of my skill set. Hope this is helpful when it comes to estimating your costs for a similar project. I would recommend Meticulous Plumbing.

Unbelievable communication, ease of scheduling. The technician, Seth, was a total pro and also communicated better than any service person that has ever done work at my home here in Bethany over the last 30yrs. I couldn't be more pleased. These folks were tops! We had Joe as our plumber! They were always so communicative, texted information on the person who was coming into our home. And as a woman who works from home alone, it was so nice to see a face and have a name of who was coming into my home. They put us on a cancelation schedule and the work was done a full 2 weeks earlier, always a lovely surprise!

They spoke to me like a human, and explained things when I had questions. They were reasonable with the pricing, and didn't try to sell me on work I didn't need, in addition to allowing me to have the outdoor trench dug for them. While I hope that I don't need them again, I will hire them for every plumbing job I ever have!

I needed Leo and his crew to re-locate a kitchen waste drain pipe that sat too high on the wall. Joey did an excellent and beautiful job of cutting into the lathe and plaster. Then he surgically removed a section of the old cast iron drain pipe and re-plumbed it correctly further down to code. Perfect professional work! They are the only plumbing company I've ever used or will ever use.

Josh replaced the water shut-off handles under my bathroom sink, and installed a new faucet. He said the handles were very tight, but he got them off without breaking anything. Yay! He was very courteous, and tidy. I will definitely use Meticulous again. Service: Faucet installation

Josh did a super job installing a challenging TotoToilet Washlet. The American Standard toilet fixture (4 years old) was not-so-standard. He persevered and made the adjustments needed. Great work - Great company. Tamara, their customer service phone coordinator was stellar too. This is the second job we've had done by Meticulous plumbers. and they are all indeed - METICULOUS! We have used Meticulous Plumbing for years, for all of our plumbing needs. They are wonderful, dog friendly, courteous, on-time, and do great work. You can't go wrong by hiring Meg, Leo and Meticulous!

I used Meticulous Plumbing to clear a floor drain in my basement. I told them the problem when I called to schedule the appointment (which took 2 1/2 weeks to get). They did not tell me at this time that they have a flat rate of $383 to clean a drain. They waited until the plumber was on site to tell me this. At this point I am either in a bind, pay them to do the work, or send them away, pay their $80 dispatch fee, and wait another few weeks for another company to come out.

I had them do the work. It took less than an hour. The plumber (Seth) was great. I was told after by Meticulous that their rates are competitive. If so, the whole plumbing industry is out of control and have normalized gouging.

Meticulous Plumbing was terrific. Loved working with Tamara in customer service. She was very friendly and extremely efficient. Due to a construction problem I needed to reschedule my plumbing date. Tamara worked with me and was able to fit me in earlier than expected. Kudos to her. Josh was the plumber sent to me both times. He was also spectacular.

Friendly and good at what was asked of him. He also nicely cleaned each area after working on them. Couldn't have asked for more. This was the first time I used their service but it definitely will not be the last. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing work done.

Seth came by today and I was very pleased with the service. He was friendly, ahead of schedule and completed the work quickly and at a very fair price. I plan to work with Meticulous from now on.

I hired Meticulous Plumbing to repipe my house and replace the water main in the fall of 2020. The entire process was as smooth as it could have been, and I was consistently impressed with the quality of work and the professionalism of the plumbers and apprentices. I was assisting my daughter with the clean up of her condo when I found extensive plumbing needs. She had a stopped up drain, a broken tub faucet and a toilet that leaked at the floor. My own plumbing company was not able to serve the Troutdale area but they happily referred me to this company. I'm so glad they did! Erin, the plumber, arrived on time and went right to work.

She tackled the stopped up drain first, explained what she found then moved on to the faucet issue. She explained that at some point, the water to the condo must have been turned off (it was) and then, when it came back on, debris got into the cartridge, preventing it from delivering hot water. This problem was not discovered until my daughter used that tub for the first time.

After fixing this problem, Erin moved on to the leaking toilet. She found it was not seated correctly to the floor and fixed it. She assured me that the sound we were hearing was not water running loose in the wall from the upstairs bathroom, but in a pipe that was not insulated within the wall. It made sense and our fears were allayed. We are so very grateful for her help. All of this work was done in just a little over 3 hours and the cost was very reasonable. My daughter plans to utilize this company from now on.

This service was amazing. They were courteous. Communicative, timely, and thorough. I plan to use them again and would wait for them to be available for any non-emergent needs.

We had such a great experience with Meticulous Plumbing. They communicated very well, always texted and emailed not only to remind but when plumbers were on their way. Plumbers were VACCINATED, which is hard to find in this industry! The work was more expensive than we thought and booked a few weeks out, but that is the state of affairs right now. This review is for the preliminary visit by the plumber to evaluate the project and offer estimates. She was knowledgeable, patient and courteous. She gave us all the time we needed to respond to questions. She explained the project (rough-in plumbing for a shower remodel), and offered us alternatives and options to consider. She is making inquiries as to the best shower fixture units to use and will respond back to us accordingly. Based on this visit we decided to use this company and will follow up with a review once the project is complete.

This is the second time we have used this company. The first plumber is a woman, and I mistakenly thought that it was a Womens' plumbing company, and had the sexist idea that women would be more "meticulous" than men. So when a guy, Josh, showed up, I was disappointed and concerned because he is a year away from the 4-year requirement to be a full fledged plumber.

But he was great! He not only fixed the things we needed, but he showed my husband how he could do it the next time if it's needed. He was on time, easy to work with, friendly and professional. The scheduler sent him days early because they had a cancellation. We are happy to have this great team.

We just moved into a new house and needed a plumber to do some minor fixes. It was super easy to set up the appointment, and even though they were booked out a few weeks, I was able to get an appointment within a week. Great communication via text and phone, it made getting appointments so easy. Our plumber Seth has been supremely helpful. He gave us clear explanations about what was going on, and some very practical recommendations. I'm so happy and relieved to have reliable plumbing service. Meticulous will definitely be our go-to for any of our plumbing needs!

Our old shower valves started leaking and we needed to replace the two handle shower faucet with a new Delta valve/faucet system. The new items are smaller than the old, leaving a gap in the tile. Joey did an amazing job caulking the gaps. Looks great. All the work was done professionally and the area left clean. Very happy with the work and results.

Scheduling was easy. Erin showed up on time for our appointment. I was notified and sent tracking when she was on her way. She was very helpful in explaining what issues were going on and helped us understand better what we could do about them. She sent us timely estimates immediately after our appointment for potential work we could do and gave us many options to choose from. We're grateful for her professionalism and her ability at communicating with us about the issues affecting our plumbing.

We hired Meticulous Plumbing to run a water line to our fridge so we can use the ice maker (hello 21st century!). We were originally scheduled about three weeks after I first called, but we were pleasantly surprised to receive a call that they were able to send a plumber over two weeks early. The plumber who came out was Erin, and she was friendly, professional, and respectful of our home.

Truly a pleasure to work with. She quickly assessed a couple different options to complete the job, presenting the pros and cons of each approach. Erin got the job done neatly and quickly, and everything worked out great. A few other reviews have also mentioned this, but I really appreciated that the text notification that Erin was on her way included not just her name and a photo (to know who to look for), but also a short personal bio. I liked getting that introduction to our plumber.

Due to a cancellation, dispatch was able to fit me in on the perfect day. Erin West arrived early, looked things over, discussed the options, and got to work." Meticulous" says it all! They've done work for me before, and the result is always outstanding. The care, expertise, and followup are impressive, and Erin's delight in the elderly sink and its details was charming. When plumbing needs work, you need Meticulous.

Erin came this morning after our panicked email last week to Meticulous. She was prompt, diligent, super covid-safe (double masked with an N95 on first) and really cute with our dog who just had to say hi. Erin worked quietly in the upstairs bathroom with the door closed and the window wide open, getting the problem resolved quickly and skillfully.

And the in-home pod school we host downstairs got to have a fantastic conversation about women in the trades and a woman plumber. All around, we are thrilled (and always go to Meticulous for our plumbing needs)!

From the first phone call to the completion of our plumbing problem, every interaction we had was so warm and professional. They were able to address our problem earlier than our scheduled appointment. The technician was knowledgeable and polite. We were able to get on a waitlist and again they were also able to fix our plumbing before the scheduled appointment.

They sent pictures and information on the technicians who would be working on our home. I will absolutely be using them again and I appreciate how quick and professional Joe and Vu were to work with.

They sent Erin to replace a leaky sewer pipe in the basement wall. She did a great job, and speedy too. I'll call them again if we have another plumbing problem.

These guys are the best! I've used them twice, several years apart, and I will call them again when I need a plumber. Joey replaced my disposal and faucet and he was friendly, professional and efficient. Their attention to detail and communication is wonderful. They use technology effectively to support their work, sending texts and emails to update as needed.

I've used Meticulous for two (very different!) projects now, and their work is always impeccable. In Spring Erin helped us get water to our fridge, and this week Joe and Vu ran a new gas line for a new stove. Absolutely loved the care they took with their work. The permitting process was painless as well (something I very much appreciate, since Portland is not known for making that easy).

Their office team is great as well - Tamara was instrumental in solving a scheduling challenge so that the latest project could come in on time and on budget. Highly recommend!

My second experience with Meticulous Plumbing. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Meticulous is the definition of extraordinary customer experience.

These guys are awesome. Used them this week in my new home, they had great communication and were even early (they did call ahead to make sure showing up early was allowed which was really great) they even left the kitchen cleaner than when they started, which is greatly appreciated. The plumbers that came out were very friendly and kept me informed of what they were doing through the entire process. Highly recommend.

We first contacted Meticulous Plumbing to install a new toilet, which they did a very good job doing. Following that, we had them install new pipes and outlet for our clothes washer and a water line for the fridge. They did such excellent and professional work and advised us every step of the way so we knew exactly what was happening. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing project!

Terry Taylor and his partner did a great job re-habbing an old, non-code plumbing issue and installing a new water heater. They were on-time, clean, and on-quote with thoughtful answers to all my questions. If I have any more plumbing needs, I know that calling them will be the best way to go.

I've been a client of Meticulous for 2 years now and they never disappoint. They've done stuff including emergency drain clearing, fixing broken pipes, installing fixtures, and quotes on longer term project work. They always explain clearly what they are doing and get explicit permission to do any work that differs from their initial estimates. Erin in particular is great to work with (as others have mentioned here!).

When our daughter's house needed a new sink hooked up and a leaky shower repaired we called on Meticulous and they sent out Erin. She handled the jobs with ease. Travis did a great job on the plumbing work he did in my house the first week of September. He made sure to leave me use of all fixtures at the end of each day, even though I said he did not have to, and he was conscientious and thoughtful in how he completed the work. He also pointed out a potential issue with my main water line so I could address it in a timely fashion.

We also highly recommend Meticulous Plumbing. Dave showed up as scheduled to re-install a toilet and pedestal sink and was very experienced, informative and trustworthy. The price was more than fair for the work done by a genuinely nice guy. If we need a plumber in the future, we will be calling Meticulous.

I just wanted to provide feedback for Dave's work on my assorted projects on September 25. He was prompt in arriving right at8am, and proceeded through all the jobs I was looking for help on. I appreciated his assessments of each situation and letting me know how he was proceeding and each issue he encountered and what my options were.
