Wood and wife Lynelle Wood are personally involved in every aspect of the business. Chances are your initial contact will be with Mike. If you want to be called a Bitch & a Cunt, then Mike is your man. The level of unprofessionalism is crazy, not quite sure how no one has sued him or punched him in the face. I promise you his lack of unprofessionalism and work ethic is not worth it. He treats his employees and customers the same. Like shit. So If you're into the name calling, Mike is your man!

These folks are professionals. You will not be disappointed. Its the owner and a few of his guys who have been there 10+ years. They know their stuff and given the owner goes out and does jobs as well, he has his eye on his crew & he values his rep, which means they do a good job and nothing shady is going on. Reasonable prices. They came out and replaced my 30 year old heater & made it AC ready for when we install the AC next year. In and out in a few hrs and the price I paid was the price they quoted. No upsells or bait and switch.

I've used this company three times. They're honest and get the job done fast. Mike helped me today. He was professional courteous and quick. This has always been my experience. They have helped me during heat waves when my son and my daughter were babies. Other companies will not show up same day to give you a quote much less fix it in less than a day during a heat wave.

I was at a stop sign and a 45 miles an hour and one of your employees flew out in front of me slamming his horn right behind me going above 60. You need to have a talk with your employees or I'm going to report your company. I am in a company car and company cars are supposed to go to speed limit I don't see the need for him to rush and slam on his horn behind me.

There is two lanes I was in the slow lane he could've perfectly gone around me. Disrespectful driver and I will make sure to post on everyRating site that I have to that you have reckless drivers

Mike Wood is the rudest and most unprofessional man I have ever met! I gave one star because he installed the furnace in my remodeled house and works fine after six years. Wish I could say the same for the air conditioning unit they installed. Mike and his top workman stood in my house and promised me the unit they were going to install would cool my house to my satisfaction.

It never did! After running for hours it never got below 75 degrees and it was only 88 during the day. They replaced one collapsed duct then installed another duct opening to the house, They even replaced one part in the unit and it still never worked! When my daughter, who was living in the house called him to tell him he called her stupid and hung up on her twice!

I called several times as the owner and again he was rude and hung up on me! Neither my daughter nor I were rude to him. He finally said it was because my house was not insulated properly. It was Just remodeled! I now will have to invest in another company to see how to fix the problem. Beware or this man and his company!

Mike came out within 1 day to replace our thermostat that went bad. He replaced it with a ProT855. He was professional and straightforward. I called a few HVAC businesses without success. I found it easy to explain and troubleshoot the problem. Even though he didn't have the part on the truck, there wasn't an extra trip charge to go get the part.

He stood by his orginal quote even though we needed the more expensive thermostat for the 2 speed heater/fan. We had to program the settings to our preferences and that took a little time to learn how to program it right for us. I would call DunRite again and refer them to my neighbors for any HVAC needs.

If you are in need of furnace repair, don't call Dunrite Heating and Air! They do not return calls! When someone did answer the phone, there was a 50/50 chance that they would be civil. When I called to leave a final message that he could disregard my previous calls, he answered and hung up on me. No professionals here!

I wish I could give zero stars. when we called in to ask about an issue we were having, the owner abused my wife over the phone and called her stupid. Then he said "be careful, I have your address". so yes, he threatened her. So I called. and the abuse was much worse. Even if we have warranty on the work, I will never, ever call these people again. Steer clear - and read the reviews that are hidden - you will find this feeback everywhere.

Dunrite just came out a few days ago to replace my AC unit. They originally installed one along with a new heating unit 15 years ago, so it was a no brainer to use them again, however, I decided to get two additional bids. Dunrite's quote came in much lower than the other two competitors. They arrived 30 min early, and within 2 hours it was ready to go.

The new AC unit is much quieter, cools the house down quicker. I'm extremely pleased with the performance of the new AC unit, installation, and professional of Dunrite. I highly recommend them!

My folks had a defunct furnace, and had to bear the uncomfortable cold, which is especially tough being that they are elderly. Mike came by to give a quick honest estimate. He was able to explain everything in the most thorough manner to a layperson as anyone possibly can. A couple of days later his crew installed the new furnace and thermastat. I and my parents are ecstatic at how well it worked.

We are impressed with the service, experience and knowledge of Mike and his crew. The pricing was more than fair. I highly recommend them. I did a fair amount of research on other providers. I don't think you'll find anyone else as good as these guys.

Mike and Jesse have worked on both of my gravity / floor heaters, reconditioning both. Most other firms would not touch them--Dunrite is one of the few that still work on these old war horses. Yes its a small shop with personal service from the key guys, so they do appreciate working with their schedule if it is not an emergency. But they have always been there to resolve any problem that I have encountered.

I had Mike and DunRite replace a furnace and AC. They said they could do the furnace immediately, but they had a big job and couldn't do the AC right away, but they would call and set that up in about 8 weeks. After 2 months with no call I started contacting them. First I got no response. Then, when they did get back to me, they gave me a price that was almost double what they originally quoted me - price increases, they said.

I wait to accommodate them, and they don't honor their price? I questioned them about that, and that was it. They never bothered to return my calls. I have to say, the furnace installation was satisfactory. My suggestion is: Get it in writing form them!

Mike came over yesterday and said it was too hot and he will come over tomorrow morning. I called him by 10am, thinking the morning is running late and i stayed home from work waiting. He YELLED at me that he told me not to wait for him and he would call me 30 min before he came. Well, he did NOT say that. When i pointed it out he YELLED again that he has been in business for 40 years and he always says that.

I pointed out that 30 min is not enough time, i work for a living just as he does and need an hour to get home. HE HUNG UP ON ME! Never have i had it happenned to me. I called him back to check if he will be here tomorrow morning, since it is stinking hot ( 103) and i am willing to swallow my pride to have the air working, but i called another service that came over and fix the problem ( the fuse tripped), paid $100 and called Mike to tell him i no longer need his services.

Mike is very thorough with his work. He came over to install our AC compressor in Fremont a few years back, and was reasonable in pricing, compared to the the 3 other bid quotes we received from other contractors. Our AC has been working fine, until recently. Then, Mike came out to replace a capacitor and the unit was working fine again. He also installed a super boost to increase the lifespan of the unit.

He really knows how his AC units. If you're looking for professional work, call Mike. He is direct, sincere, and get-to-the-point kind of guy. So, don't be offended, he's just direct to get work done fast, and is very busy. During work, he's hilarious, and has a ton of jokes up his sleeve (ask him to tell you the one about a guy carrying a gun to a bar).

He may not be the cheapest in town, but he gets work done correctly as he is the most experienced/qualified for this type of work. He has over 48 years of experience in the AC and heating business! You can definitely settle for a cheaper quote from a new guy who is learning the ropes in the AC business. Or you can pay a little more for quality and lasting results. Long term results that will actually save you money in the long run. I've already shared his business with my neighbors. Thanks Mike! (This is Ra, btw).

The owner of this company truly takes the 1st place prize when it comes to lacking communication skills! I've never in my life known or come into contact with such a sour individual. When running a business you should be on your top game trying to win over potential customers NOT treating them like a bug on the ground to stomp on. If you Mr. Dunrite can or think your entitled to treat individuals the way you do not even knowing them.

I can only imagine how you treat your employees and family members behind the scenes. You truly need an attitude adjustment. I'm surprised you still have a business to operate to be honest! Smdh!

DunRite has been our go-to company for home heating and AC for over 20 years and this week has been our best experience to date. We needed a new heater, AC, and ducting in our 50-plus year old house to include removal of existing asbestos ducts. Mike at DunRite worked with us and the asbestos folks to ensure the end of the duct removal ended as DunRite began their work, to ensure we only had to go one night without heat.

At the end of the second day (March 6) of work, we were up and running in a toasty warm house. The installation of a modern, efficient system gave us max heat in minimum time. All at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. Our top recommendation goes to Mike and the folks at DunRite!

Returned call as promised. Called me 30 minutes prior to make me aware they were on their way. Figured out the issue with my A/C within minutes and had parts on hand, replaced and was up and running with 15 minutes. Very pleasant and professional. With the heat spell. having a working A/C is great!

Did good work and were prompt when they installed the A/C and Furnace few years ago. Though A/C has issues each year when temperatures soar and it stops working. When it was under warranty they promptly fixed it for no charge. Now, just trying to schedule call is a nightmare and owner is very rude over the phone.

Well I want to say that they were great to talk with. I had a HVAC technical question on adhesives and the Dunrite rep, Mike Wood, was great to talk with, knowledgeable, helpful and gave me the time I needed. I will certainly consider them on any future HVAC needs.

I have a mixed response to DunRite. During my first conversation over the phone, I asked how much it would cost to get an estimate. I was told it would cost $100 for a diagnostic report. I asked if that would be credited toward the cost of a repair should I decide to have repairs done. The guy laughed and said that no one does that. If they do something, there would be a charge.

Any repairs would be in addition to that. What bothered me was the attitude I received. I didn't think it was a bad question and didn't expect to be laughed at for asking. The technician, Jesse, that worked on my air conditioner called me about 20 minutes before he arrived so that I could meet him at my house. My family let him in while I was enroute.

He did a good job in determining what the cause was in a short time, perhaps 20 minutes. I have some understanding of the basic operation of an air conditioner so I know that what he tried, checking the capacitor for the blower motor, made sense. It was the cause and cost a reasonable $15 for the part. All in all, I am pleased with the service, although the customer service from the person at the office could definitely be improved.

The application is a townhouse with numerous nearby neighbors. The townhouse units originally had no air conditioning. About ten years ago I had Mike Wood replace the original furnace. The service was excellent, immediate and reasonable in cost. I was not exploited because I had an unhappy tenant without heat in the winter. The replacement was made the same day as quoted. Thus, when considering air conditioning, I called Mike again.

He came to the site the next morning, surveyed the situation and prepared a quotation. Mike gave me an off-season price and did not have to replace the furnace. I verified the pricing DunRite provided and found it was indeed very competitive, as with the earlier furnace install. I said do it. His crew arrived the next day. Jesse was the crew leader and each of the three men were professional and knew exactly what to do to complete the installation in one day.

They were courteous, competent, clean and hardworking. It turned out the furnace had a preexisting fault that required another trip for a technician to replace a control board but Mike took care of it at no added charge. A low noise level by the outdoor condensing unit was a high priority on this project and I must say the installed unit is amazingly quiet. I could not be more pleased with the cooling capacity and system quietness. I was treated more than fairly and Mike has my very highest recommendation.

Immediately returned my calls, came out to do an inspection right away and were very mindful about getting us the best price (to fix or to replace? That was the question). Great communication - owner answers calls outside business hours! Did the work right away, all in a day, and even cleaned up their mess on the way out - including vacuuming;-) our a/c will probably never have trouble again. But when we buy a new home if we need any help we know who to call!

DunRite came and fixed my AC unit when I desperately needed it fixed -- during a major asthma attack. I called them late on a Friday evening and the owner responded by phone. He came to my house the following morning, which was a Saturday. He diagnosed the issue and indicated he would have the unit replaced on Monday. He had his employee at my house on Monday morning to begin the replacement process.

They replaced the coil (which was 31 years old -- yuck). The quote was accurate. They were knowledgeable, responsive, speedy and very neat. I highly recommend their service. This is the second time I've used them.they replaced my furnace a few winters back as well. Based on that service, I called them this time as well. I will be a repeat customer again if necessary.

Great company! Mike, the owner, is very knowledgeable. He did all the research and calculations right on the spot, called 2 hvac distributors to confirm specs of my old furnace and gave me detailed quote with various options during his first visit. That is something other contractors that I asked for a quote from weren't able to do. Also Mike's quoted price was lower and there were zero extra charges after job was done.

I had a 20-year old gas furnace, 27-year old 40-gallon tank water heater and no AC. Mike's guys replaced it all with brand new equipment and added an AC in a little more than a day. Very professional, cleaned everything up after themselves. Price was very reasonable based on my research and one other quote I got.

My AC went down on one of those hot August days; the fan was working but no cold air so I was sure that the unit was "dead". Mike came out and after only a few questions and a quick look he went to the circuit breaker box and confirmed that all I needed were 2 new breakers. He went out (on a Saturday) and found the parts and was back and had them installed very quickly. No nonsense, very knowledgeable and at a reasonable price. I will use them again for maintenance and/or service.
