When replacing a furnace, it is imperative that you select a contractor who will properly size your furnace and take into consideration any ducting issues you may have. Most installations are completed in just one day. Pelle will remove, recycle and dispose of your old furnace and any debris related to your installation.

We had a known issue with the outdoor A/C unit in the new house we purchased and Gary was able to come out quickly and assess the problem. I was then able to easily schedule a time shortly afterwards for the repair to take place, which only took a few hours. There was an hourly charge to receive an estimate, but at the end of the day, Gary came in under the estimate amount he quoted and the overall price for all the work was fair.
He also helped me learn about different parts about my new home such as the water softener and shutoff valve and answered any other questions I had since I had already paid for an hour of his time. Thanks Gary and Pelle!

We were referred to Pelle Heating and Air Conditioning by our contractor. We were contacted by Jessica who scheduled a visit by Robert to assess our requirements. We wanted to update our existing 20 years old HVAC system with a more energy efficient design. A few days later an appointment was set for Charles Mosley and his team to install a completely new HVAC system.
The team arrived on time. They observed masking and distance protocols during the installation. They worked quickly and efficiently. Attention to detail was impressive. Charles set the bar high in regards to customer service. He shared some useful videos related to our installations and tips to extend the life of our system. He patiently answered my multitude of questions. We highly recommend Pelle Heating and Air Conditioning.

Pelle installed our ductless heating and air. We loved it until we needed to use the air conditioner. It worked great for one day. Then it stopped working. It was a crazy heat wave and it took them 2 weeks to come out (they have one repair guy). By the time they came out it was cool out and the unit worked again. It just seems to die in the heat. We are now in another heat wave.
The unit worked for one day and died again. They said that they cannot come out for another 4 days. It is currently in the high 90s and we have a $16,000 non-working unit. By the time they come out the heat wave will be over and the unit will be working again. It just completely shuts down in the heat (which is when we need it). I cannot warn you strongly enough about this company!
The people are nice enough, but with ONE repair guy they cannot support their customers! ADDITION: As soon as I posted the review (In June) the owner asked me to revise it and promised to rectify the situation right away. It is now August 30 and we STILL have NO air-conditioning! I wish that I could revise it and give them ZERO stars. It has been a miserably hot summer!

OUTSTANDING customer service! Pelle installed our entire AC/Heating system in 2014, they are the go to team for basic service and preventative maintenance. we had them out to do basic service and fix a minor issue. Shout out to Charles M- just service tech, great customer service, professional knowledge and easy to understand why we had an issue and how to fix it. There is only one number in our phone book for heating and cooling- hands down team Pelle heating and AC! thank you!

Used Pelle twice to install separate ductless mini units. Both times Robert was my consult. Came to the house and had good recommendations and seemed to know what would work best. Even remembered who I was over the phone before coming out the second time, and this was over a year later. The install team was prompt and on time for both jobs and they were friendly and didn't mind my general questions and curiosity ( I do general handyman work so it's nice to learn from trade professionals) It's been about half a year since the last install (a year and a half since the first) and both units still run great.
Also forgot to mention, my old house needed an electrical upgrade and they recommended a company they work with and gave me all the info I would need for the electrician, which was really helpful as trying to collaborate work between two separate contractors working on different things can be difficult when you don't know what you're doing.

I wish to express to your company our thanks for a job well done. Last fall my wife and I decided to replace our furnace and install air conditioning. We contacted five local companies to obtain their recommendations and their bids to do the work. One company stood out above the others and, of course, it was Pelle.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! Once they get your $$, they don't give a crap about you. Customer service is rude and unapologetic. They do not finish what they start. I really wanted to give a good review for this company as the actual consultation was the most thorough I've seen, the crew that did the installation were friendly, and the products themselves work great. However.
After the installation was done and everyone left, I noticed that there were cracks on the ceiling on one of our bathrooms including a screw that looked like it was pushed through from the attic. Now. OBVIOUSLY it was caused by one of the crew that was in our attic doing work since 1) we've never been in the attic since we moved into the house and 2) we just remodeled the entire bathroom so we couldn't have just not seen it.
Once this was told to Pelle, it took almost a week for them to just take a look. After taking a look, they made it seem like it WASNT their fault and that there was NO way it was caused by them. Uh.so it just happened coincidentally in a brand new bathroom with one of your guys stomping around upstairs? Come on.don't be absurd. Holding in my anger, Pelle finally agreed to send someone to fix the problem.
Of course it doesn't get better since the guy they sent came a full 40 minutes late past our timeframe which pissed me off since I purposely carved some time before work to wait for them. Not only that, when I called them to check on the guy, they said they would call me back and they NEVER did. And when I called back AGAIN, the secretary blows me off with no remorse despite my pleads for a status update.
I call Pelle again and left a message to display my displeasure but OF COURSE.NO call back. As you can see, they do a great job hooking you in, getting your business, and yes despite doing a good job, if there is a PROBLEM, they do not follow through and make it a priority to provide customer service to finish the entire experience. NOT ONCE was an apology made to me throughout the process of discovering the damage to our house and NOT ONCE was any empathy shown.
It is disappointing that a company like Pelle does not give their customers the respect they deserve. After spending close to 8000$ dollars, one would expect some level of respect and I did not get it. Spend you money elsewhere.

My A/C stopped working on a very hot and sunny day. I Googled San Jose air conditioning and Pelle Heating & Air Conditioning is the first one that was shown. I also cross referenced them on Yelp and they have very high ratings on Yelp. So, I called them to schedule an appointment. They were all booked for the day but since it was such a hot day and I couldn't wait, the owner himself came out to help me repair the air conditioner. He was very courteous and repaired the unit in no time.

My son's apartment had some heating problem and Pelle Heating was called in. The one who serviced the need was prompt and explained were the problems is and what solutions are available. He made us completely at ease with him and what he was doing to the heating system. The rate that was charged was well within the reach of ordinary people like us. I am keeping their number so when there is any heating or air conditioning problem I know whom to call right away.
