In the interests of full disclosure, I'm not a big fan of YELP, this is my first review, but if it helps someone to finally get the remodel they've been dreaming about, I'll be happly. My wife and I were just commenting that it has been a year since we started our kitchen and bath remodel. We had talked about it for years, but never quite got around to actually doing anything about.
We "interviewed" several contractors before finally going with Ross. It was a great decision. Our remodel came in on time, on budget and we love it. If you are putting off a remodel because of the aggravation, hassle or if you are like me the intimidation of choosing from bath fixtures that cost more than my first car, this is the place to go.

Design solutions' ross reed took on a complicated job of heating and tiling our recreation/tv room. we left town. we left him to complete in the agreed seven days. we returned home to perfection. and it looks sensational. he explained the operation of the thermostat in plain english, set up computer/iphone system, and left us confidant that us elderly folk would survive.

In 2013 my wife and I hired Ross Reed of Design Solutions to oversee the renovation of our 100-year-old flat in San Francisco. We could not be more pleased with the results of Design Solutions' fine work. Ross and his team of contractors and designers not only helped us think through the design, engineering, and financial aspects of our renovation to great benefit, but also they were incredibly responsive and professional in addressing the many challenges which arose during the five-month-long construction process. After going to six different places for cabinets, we purchased our cabinets from Ross. Why I recommend him is the after purchase. One cabinet door was very slightly damaged during shipment. He immediately replaced it and installed it. He also has great design taste for other kitchen related questions.

Design Solutions is an amazing resource. I can't believe it's the brains behind the GORGEOUS SF Raffle house. Ross Reed took me on a personal tour of the SF Raffle House and the ingenious eco-friendly features. I also really appreciated the way the staff took the time to explain the intelligence behind remodeling countertops with recycled materials that look just as good as corian.
