Hooper Plumbing

Hammer from Hooper came to my house mid August and cleaned out a difficult to access drain between two sinks in my master bath. I paid $700+, but was happy my drains worked again. A month and a half later the drains backed up again. I called and confirmed multiple times that this was a warranty call and to send the same gentleman out Bc he was familiar with the drain he already worked. Hammer returned and charged be to clean those drain lines again telling me it's "hard to warranty work Bc you can never tell if someone has a lot if hair and is going to clog the drain quickly." I have called and my fiancee have called multiple times to discuss why I was charged and no one has returned a single phone call.

I would advise against using this company as they do not stand by their work or return phone calls. I have also shared with the neighborhood Facebook page that recommended them Bc this level of service is not acceptable.

Hooper Plumbing and Air conditioning is an great example Of a place you'd never want to work. The way people view it from the outside of the company (customers) it may be a great company that takes care of you. Which it is the men that work there are professionals and handle things in a professional manner but they are under paid and definitely unappreciated.

The company cuts their employees hours and also pays their highest paid tech a lot less than you would think. They do not pay their employees for driving in between jobs and their employees do not get commission off of anything they sell you. Most of the employees do not go home with more than $1000 paychecks a week which is very ridiculous for the work that they perform and the stress that comes from the office throughout the week.

After working there for 6 years I decided it was time for a change and nothing I just wrote above was a lie. I have proof (in pictures) of my hours being cut after I turned my invoices in the following day. I also have every single check stub I earned over the course of 6 years and my hours Hardly ever matched up with how many I actually worked. One week I got paid $418.18 and I am a licensed plumber who had worked over 40hours that week, I went to the bosses and told them about what was happening and it was "corrected".

Until two weeks later when My check was wrong again. And that's when I realized they are steadily taking money from their employees and acting like the victim when they are confronted about it. So before you use this company please think about the men that work there and what they go though on a daily basis dealing with thieving bosses and more stress than you can imagine. I dealt with it for 6 years.

Everything was fine and the guys always did a nice job and cleaned up as if they had never been there. Recently they have not called me back when I left 2 messages. Which I did not understand. I know they have been busy with repairs from the freeze however no one bothered to tell me that was the reason they would not call me back to discuss two jobs at my house which they already knew needed to be done.

I have used Hooper for decades. They are always excellent. The past visit was extraordinary in that Eric was in and out in less than an hour, performed multiple tasks, was fast efficient and on time. They are the best. Services: Faucet repair, HVAC system maintenance, A/C system maintenance

I've gone to Hooper twice now, and twice I've been satisfied. Both instances were emergency situations, and both times they did everything they could to get to me promptly. This last time, they had even made it to my house BEFORE I could make it home. Great, quick work done. The workers, Blake and Hector, were both so professional and easy going. Its always slightly nerve wrecking as a woman having to deal with male contractors alone, however these guys never made me feel taken advantage of.

I've used them twice now and I'll continue to use them. They've also, twice now, given me the best or lowest quotes for their services as well. All around I'm a satisfied customer.

We've called on the folks at Hooper Plumbing & Air Conditioning for a number of plumbing and HVAC issues over the last several years. Their trained and experienced technicians always response promptly and fix the problem quickly at a fair and responsible price.

I really hate to write bad reviews, however, for this particular company, I will make an exception. There are several reasons for this review. Shotty workmanship, property destruction, deception, and bullying toward elders. I live at a rent house and the property owner (really nice older gentlemen in his 80's) hired me to remodel the bathroom. When I got to the plumbing area of the remodel, I asked the homeowner if he knew of a plumber that he would recommend.

He told me that Hooper plumbing did work at his church and did a good job, so they were hired to do the small plumbing job needed for the remodel. I was installing a fiberglass shower and needed the drain pipe in the floor moved. Hooper plumbing came to the house and told me that they would be able to do the job in 1 afternoon and told me that it was "no big deal". So, we agreed to a time and set the date. 2 Guys showed up to my house and started the work.

They had tools that didn't work and had to use mine, they took several breaks, left several times to "get supplies", and had no idea what they were doing. I had to show them how to do the basic job. They destroyed the floor in the wrong place trying to find the pipe, which made fixing the floor all that much harder. I had just finished hanging drywall, which they promptly destroyed.

They dropped my new 750.00 shower pan and cracked it. Once the drain was relocated, they told me that they had other jobs to finish and LEFT A GIANT HOLE IN MY SLAB. Then they informed me that it was Friday and that they would not be returning until the following Tuesday. They finally sent 2 more people out to finish the job the following week. They sent the landlord a $2100 invoice.

My landlord contacted them to inform them that the invoice they sent was totally unreasonable, and they bullied him into paying way more than the job was worth. I informed Hooper Plumbing that if he didn't make it right that I was going to leave a bad review and the owner told me that he didn't care. So here it is. Avoid this company at all costs!

I have been working with Hooper for at least 7 years. They are the only ones I trust with our heating/AC/plumbing needs. I used to just call around and see who could get to our house the fastest, but now, I only call Hooper. They explain everything in great detail and everyone they send out seems to genuinely enjoy what they are doing. I've only had great experiences with Hooper!
