The Pampering Plumber

After waiting all day for the plumber to come to work on my tankless water heater a guy arrived who had no idea what to do. After working on the unit for an hour with three phone calls for help I told him let's just forget it. He agreed. I then called Pampering Plumber explained the problem, the model number and the error codes being generated. I said if you don't know these units just say so.

They said no problem, they had a technician they could re-route and 30 minutes later Eddie arrived. An hour later I had hot water at a reasonable price. Professional, thorough and courteous. I will never call another plumber again other than Pampering Plumber and I'll always ask for Eddie.

Very quick, professional, and affordable. Sounds like a canned response, but 1st 3 things came to mind.

We have used TPP twice. Both times Art was our plumber/technician. He is very experienced, congenial and professional. He clearly takes pride in his work. Art and Brian did an excellent job on installing three new toilets', garbage disposal, kitchen sink faucet, two shower heads, water softener, plus faucets outside. This was a long day for them and they never stopped until the job was completed to our satisfaction, plus their satisfaction. Job well done. We have used Pampering Plumber for years and have been relatively okay with their company. They have always been on the high end of charges for services. Over the last year we have been experiencing frequent clogs on the main sewer line from a new addition to our home. They would come out, snake it, then be on their way. No rhyme or reason to how they charged us.

It would be mostly in the $200-300 range. The last time they came out they charged us over $500, but could never answer why our line kept getting clogged or why their charge for coming out doubled. In a previous visit they put a video camera in the pipe and said they thought there was some grout that was causing the blockage but never offered to fix the main problem.

Two weeks ago the line became clogged again. We called Clearwater Plumbing on a recommendation and I got more help over the phone from Mike than from the 6 visits from PP. They came over and completely cleared the line of hundreds of broken up pieces of grout that were creating a complete blockage of the line. Don't ever let contractors clean their tiling tools in your sink! Problem solved no thanks to PP.

Having to call at 5 pm on a Friday for a possible water line break is never good But Ramsey was patient and helped me check the meter to make sure it wasn't an issue with my line, and that calling Pinellas County Utilities was the right thing to do. Still waiting on them. No charge over the phone? Amazing. I highly recommend them.

All I wanted was for them to come out (since they were the ones who put the system in) to verify that the water softener was off?! They charged me $59.00?! to stand there and tell me "Yes, it was off"?! Seriously?! Not to mention, it was set on "20"?! instead of where it is suppose to be at "12"?! No wonder there was way too much salt going through my pipes and appliances. my washer & dryer are showing signs of rust now?! And, there's such a salt residue in the lint tray of the dryer that I have to wash it out?!

The Pampering Plumber was great! Their estimate was below other companies. Art ran into some difficulty as the pipe we thought went to the sink didn't, but he found the right pipes and hooked them all up and we now have hot water in the kitchen! Wow, Had an appointment with this company to come out and fix some issues with my dishwasher. Now I don't have the liberty of taking off all day to wait on someone to show up between a 5 hour window. But I did that day. I need this fixed. I get a call saying we've had an Emergency and we need to send your tech there to this emergency. I was shocked and I even said OK.

Can we reschedule they said yes. Schedule for March 17. I was like OK I even mentioned to them that I would really need to confirm that the person would be able to make it out this time as I don't get to just takeoff time from work. Oh yeah next time we won't have a problem. OK well it's now March 17 and the same thing happened again I get a phone call at 8:30 in the morning telling me that They need to reschedule my appointment again. So this is the second time I've taken off work and they.cancel. Cannot wait to explain this to my boss

Art was fantastic. He knew exactly what needed to be done and got it done fast. Called in and had my pipes replaced the same day. They don't try and up-sell you or take advantage if you have little plumbing knowledge. I got a quote from a different company for $1,800+, Art did the job for less than 1/3 of that! I will be going to him for any plumbing needs in the future.

I just wanted to say that Art Rears is fantastic. He came out last night and fixed two problems. After renting a snake from Home Depot to fix my clogged pipe the cable from the machine broke off inside our pipe. So now I have a cable inside my pipe and it is still clogged. So we contacted The Pampering Plumber and Art came out. He was able to retrieve the broken cable from the pipe and then was able to fix the clog.

He was so nice and it was a treat getting to know him and work with him. The Pampering Plumber definitely gained a new customer. I will absolutely recommend you guys. Again thank you to Art and The Pampering Plumber team. Keep up the good work.

Needed a hot water heater and call another company that quoted 1600. I called pampering plumber/who installed the water heater when our house was built and they quoted 899 and was there within an hour. George was professional and courteous and had the job done in an hour. I highly recommend them.

Do not use! My neighbor just used to these guys and they charged $400 for one hour of labor and $10 worth of parts! When they complain, they were told "they charge a flat rate". Can you say RIP OFF!

I can't say enough great things about this company. It was Sunday when we noticed a leak coming from the wall inside our garage. Eddie, their service tech answered the "after hours" call and said he can be over in 1-hour. 50 minutes later, he arrived and was working on our leak. I found Eddie to be extremely courteous and efficient. He detected where the leak was coming from within a few minutes and it was completely repaired within an hour or so.

I can't recommend these guys enough- you will definitely feel Pampered with their great service! Oh. and the $59.00 service call fee is NOTHING when compared to other services I've used in the past. Gladly pay that for quality work!

The Pampering Plumber has the best reputation in the business. Their prices on water softeners are very reasonable and best of all you know that a state certified plumbing company made sure your system was installed correctly the 1st time. It gives me great piece of mind knowing that if anything ever does go wrong, they are on call 24/7.

Terrific! Ron did a great job! Extremely pleased with the job he did. I was Happily surprised to get the job done so fast.

Toilet not working. told need new toilet. $428.00 2 days later same thing happened, offered to send tech to put camera to see if something clogged, did not want this because problem intermittent. one week later another toilet not flushing, I called septic tank company and was told this is due to all the heavy rains and it will subside and do not call a plumber, I called pampering plumber and spoke to brett, I asked for a rebate because sold a toilet for no reason. he said no rebates. he agreed this problem happens with heavy rains. why did they sell me a toilet if they knew this.?

I got the greatest service, Art was a wonderful guy and did a wonderful job! I'm very happy.

I have used The Pampering Plumbers several time. Not only are they prompt, polite but very professional. I would strongly advise anyone in need of a plumber call them. It is unique to have such great quality in Florida!

Bill was just fabulous! He gave us information on water softeners, answered all of our questions and was just so friendly and professional. He truly was amazing.

Unfortunately, I had a water heater failure. Fortunately, The Pampering Plumber was on hand the next day to replace it. Their serviceman, Dennis, was on time, knew what he was doing, efficient, clean and respectful. There is no question that I will use The Pampering Plumber again in the future.
