We have the Sadie Guard Dog Service and scheduled a water heater inspection as ours is about 6 years old. Scheduling was easy and we had to reschedule due to an unplanned appointment which was just as easy. GREAT customer service! Steven and Walton arrived as scheduled and called when 45 minutes out. Upon arrival immediately went to work. Thoroughly inspected, drained and re-inspected our water heater. Said everything was working well which was VERY good news! Didn't want that expense right now.
Both technicians were extremely professional, thorough, friendly and courteous. It was a pleasure talking with them. Needless to say -- I am VERY PLEASED! Just a GREAT job all the way around!

HUGE WASTE OF TIME! We called Goettl out for a quote to replace our two AC units. The sales rep wanted to sit down and ask a bunch of questions that either had nothing to do with the situation or that I couldn't answer until I had a quote. Asking me how I plan to pay will be determined upon seeing how much it will cost not before. Didn't matter anyways because the sales rep said he wouldn't even discuss numbers unless my husband was home, which he was not at the time.
I declined to proceed any further as I found this "company policy" to be utterly archaic. As I walked the rep out of my home he kept pushing for me to call my husband, or let him come back when he was home. No. So much no. If the company won't even leave a quote with me to discuss later with my husband, imagine the amount of pressure they would have used to get the sale had he been home. Terrible.

I had them install a water softener and tankless heater a little while back, during the install they broke some gym equipment rather than moving it. It was easily movable and I had told them beforehand to come get me if they needed anything moved as I was home during the install As an offer to make things "better" they put us on some kind of protection/service plan.
We used this to get our AC checked before it got hot for summer. Their technician told us everything was ok. Our AC just died in the middle of the night and when I called them about it, they said they wouldn't be able to look at it for several days. Awful company with awful technicians and awful customer service. Stay far away.

I had a faucet in my kitchen that needed to be replaced. I bought a new faucet and called Goettl to replace it. The tech was great, but they tried to charge me $400 for replacement. I told them it was too much, so they charged $380. I feel that it was excessive, and it took the tech thirty minutes to complete. I looked on my credit card and they charged $14.95 for Sadie plan that I didn't authorize. I called and they hung up on me. I called my credit card and disputed the charge. I am very unhappy with the way they do business.

Been a customer of Goettl since 1964 having purchased at least 15 a/c units. Two years ago, we needed a 4 ton unit and air handler replaced paying $13K for it. This year we had another same 4 ton unit that needed replacement and Goettl quoted me $18K! I asked if they could meet the same price as 2 years ago and they said yes. Because I wasn't in a hurry, I had another reputable company that's been in business here for over 50 years give me a quote and it was $9,700.00.
Just because I wanted to "keep it in the family" I called Goettl and asked if they could match the price. THEY SAID YES! My question to them was "Why did you quote me $18K for something you will now sell me for $9,700.00?" I'll tell you why. It's because they've been screwing me for all these years. I'll never go back. The original owner of Goettl was reasonable, but the current owners are money grabbers! Buyer beware. Only thing I can say positive was that Austin from Goettl was very courteous on the phone. (by the way I went with Donley a/c and they did an excellent job)

Had a rep come out and he was nice and professional. My air is and was fine and working great. Was just here for free cleaning and inspection. But after an hour of inspection it was all bad news and then the solution offered was replacing parts for $10,000. For two parts? I would think I'm getting a whole new something for ten grand. And a quote like that when my air is working fine?
I just wanted a quote for duct cleaning really. And I can understand something might need tune up or whatever but $10000 for replacing two parts? In system that's working? Now I worry that I may have trouble in the near future.but what will it be the result of? And really not sure that anything got cleaned or serviced and never did get quote for duct cleaning. Oh well.

Goettl Air Conditioning solved a problem one of my tenant's was having with their air conditioning that several others wouldn't even show up to diagnose. The issue involved replacing existing ducting due to corrosion and, because of the heat at this time in year, several were not interested in taking on duct work in a hot attic during the Phoenix summer.
But this issue couldn't wait and I called Goettl for help. Their technician responded, reviewed the issue with me over the phone (I manage the property remotely), and provided me with the options for repair. Ultimately I decided to have them replace a 20+ year HVAC system and install all new ducting. Eric, who ran the job on site in Glendale, was very professional and had good communication with me throughout.
He sent me photos of the work completed and answered my questions on the phone after the install. I can't speak to the cost of the job in relative terms because I didn't have anyone else price it, but I feel that given the warranty on the HVAC system and Goettl's willingness to do what others wouldn't, the value here is in the service and professionalism of the company itself. Their technicians and staff were excellent during every contact I had with them. Recommended.

Installation of new system is a mess and not done professionally. Many things need to be fixed I will update posting after I get someone to call me back. Same individuals came back out which was awkward and 10 minutes of arguing because they stated it was install fine. They didn't have a clue on the issues with cutting bridge bracing on trusses. Not clean and still a 90 degree on flex gas pipe which it will restrict flow. additional comments, once you get service and you need to talk with someone again it take an act of god for Goettl to answer a call!
After second service call Goettl sent the same person back out and they said everything is perfect not sure why a call back was needed! We argued for over 10 minutes before he went back to fix issues and didn't complete everything, I will let inspector know my concerns and if Goettl will have to come back out or I am just wanting more then Goettl can provide, more to come. 5/31 Goettl failed inspection have to come back to repair for a third time. 6/9 still not contact about fail inspection

Today we had our air conditioner serviced by Alin. He was FANTASTIC. From the minute he walked into our house he was all about customer service. He explained every step he was taking to check out our system, he reviewed all results with us to ensure we understood what the best performance for our unit should be. He was careful to put coverings over his shoes when he came into the house from outside.
He was very friendly and even stayed late to complete work on the AC that needed to be done based on his testing. He gave us the stuffed animal of the dog as well as a flashlight and even explained the companies history. This is our second time dealing with Goettl and once again they have exceeded expectations. They will continue to be on our speed dial for our home issues. Thank you so much!

When we received a fatal diagnosis on our air conditioner from a different company. I knew that I wanted at least 3 or 4 competitive bids and since I had cold AC I had time to shop and check on availability I called Goettl because I knew that the quality of install would be great. But when they gave me a very competitive quote on a TOTAL REPLACEMENT, I was prepared for them to tell me 3,4,o r even 6 weeks out for the new AC instead they told me that they could have all of that done the SAME DAY.
I was Flabbergasted. Well to make a long story short I signed and they had technicians on the scene in an hour. My New AC works perfectly and they cleaned up after them selves. Got it done on the same day as promised. I could not be happier or more Satisfied with my choice These guys are great. A special mention to Tony Ybarra, Sales Manger, Tony Eddington, sales And the crew that did this Awesome install Adrian, Mario, You guys all Rock your jobs THANK YOU!

I called on Sunday, Memorial Day weekend 2022, when we came home from the hospital to find ourfront yard flooding. I called several places and explained to them that we were coming home from 3 days at the Hospital from having our new son. The best anyone could do was have a plumber out the following day, even though I explained to them that running water was a necessity having a new born baby at home and a wife that had to go through surgery to have him. Goettl initially gave me a 4 to 6 hour window for arrival same day but said that they would try to come out sooner, given our situation at home.
I told them to pencil me in but was nervous about the window I was given. 30 minutes after my call, Brennan (their technician) was calling me to let me know that he was aware of the situation and was on his way. After assessing the issue, he gave me a series of options to take to fix the issue along with a price for each. To my surprise, he recommended one of the least expensive options to make sure that we could get the water flowing and the family taken care of.
He even gave me a military discount for my service! Brennan got right to work and left the area in my yard with the main water leak looking better than what it was before. He even fixed the orientation of the box covering the valve as it was dug into the ground much deeper than recommended. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with how the entire team handled my situation From start to finish they all exemplified the motto and values of their company through their customer service and prompt response. My wife is happy too and really that's the only thing that really matters. Thanks guys!

The Goettl technician who came to my house, Nathan, was on time, very thorough, and a complete professional. He was also extremely friendly, easy-to-talk-to, and seemed genuinely concerned about making sure that I understood what work was to be done, and that I was satisfied with the results. Over the past 5.5 years that I've done business with the Phoenix office of Goettl, I've had a few technicians show up who were, shall we say, less-than-ideal, but to the company's credit, they addressed those situations to my complete satisfaction. Nathan was terrific, and I'd welcome him back into my home any time. I was that impressed with his work!

Based on their master marketing I've heard on the radio the past few years, Goettl was the first quote I wanted when I decided to do a complete HVAC replacement a couple weeks ago. Long story short, I scheduled an in-person consultation and they no-showed. Didn't even call me until a couple hours after my appt to let me know they couldn't make it. Then, when they gave me a quote over the phone, it was $12,000 more than the company I went with, who installed Trane units at my home.
When I told the sales rep not to bother sending the written quote over because of the obviously exorbitant price, he became indignant with me. My interaction with this company did not align with what they espouse in their marketing.

Adrian Silva was my technician and he was super great! I've been using Goettl for a couple years. My unit went out during the pandemic and I had to wait for the replacement motor to come in to be installed. Once it arrived they were out right away at my convenience and the service is awesome, congenial and thorough! I highly recommend this to any consumer with heating, plumbing and general HVAC needs

When I explained that I thought the price was too high, he gave me an adjusted quote that was very reasonable. Matthew Tanner is an all star employee and AC technician for Goettl! We have been Sadie Guard Dog Members for over 6 Years now. We have had so many great technicians come to our home over the years for our twice a year Rejuvenation. We have never had any issues with any of them. While we have been paying for only the Rejuvenation for all of these years we did have something come up that needed the attention of a professional. Goettl sent out another technician first and he did great troubleshooting and cleaning our air coils, but the issue was not resolved.
Because Goettl does things the right way they sent Matthew Tanner out to ensure that we were taken care of and he corrected the problem. Knowing that we have been paying for the great Rejuvenation service for years and when we needed the great service Goettl provides gave me a sense of satisfaction that this company will always do a great job for us. The only reason they get two stars is because how professional the technician / Salesman was. other than that this company is a rip off plain and simple. We had them come out to do an A/C tune up, this exact same procedure was performed both last year and the year previous by two other companies and was only half the price Goettl charged us! They are absolute cowboys that will bleed you dry. Stay a mile away!

I would highly recommend Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing for any household repair. The company has installed both air and water appliances in my house. Technicians are very responsive and solved my hot water concerns on the same day of calling. In particular, my technicians Quade and Eric were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They set immediately to work and had the entire project done quickly and effectively.
The two also went the extra mile and advised me on some unrelated plumbing work I needed done around the house and directed my to resources for help. Overall, an extremely knowledgeable and professional staff. Highly recommend this company.

We bought our AC from these guys a few years ago and they continue to take great care of all our HVAC needs. Our spring inspection was done by Abraham this year. He was exactly what we have come to expect. Very well informed, very professional, and an absolute pleasure to have in our home. He was through, cleaning our unit and letting us know about some duct issues that we can easily fix to make our unit more efficient this summer. I definitely feel ready for the hot summer months. After a horrible start to my business with Goettl, and taking numerous visits to my home to fix issues with it, there is now a leak coming from the air handler onto my tile floor. Folks, my initial review stands. Run away from these people. There are other companies out there who can do this type of work competently. These guys aren't them.

Tim from Goettl came to our home today to rejuvenate our 3 AC units & what a great job he did! He arrived promptly as promised with a Goettl flashlight & little stuffed Sadie in hand as gifts & started in to inspect & rejuvenate our 3 AC units. Unlike the past AC company last year who was only here for 30 min, Tim from Goettl was on site doing a thorough top to bottom job lasting 6 hours. YES, he cleaned the coils the right way, he checked electrical current draws, system pressures, switch functions, temperature gradients at the vents and so much more.
I cannot recommend Goettl high enough; they do exactly what their commercials advertise & they do it the right way, not the easy way. It's comforting to know our AC system is now finely tuned, cleaned, adjusted & tightened to run hard & strong throughout the AZ summer. Great job Tim & Goettl AC!

This company is unbelievably bad. We used the company on two separate occasions for minor plumbing work. On both occasions they sent the same technician, Brandon. He was unprofessional, rude and provided no value. The second visit involved a minor plumbing clog. It's something we had gone through before and I simply needed the plumber to snake the pipe from the vent on the roof.
Despite me explaining the problem several times, Brandon had no idea what he was doing and was not able to get the problem resolved. He nevertheless charged me $100. After he left, I went to Home Depot and rented my own snake, and unclogged the drain from the vent on the roof in less than 20 minutes. Bottom line, do not hire this company for plumbing work unless you want to waste your money and time.

Top was my service tech, yes that's his name and it's fitting as he was Top notch. Extremely thorough, and took the time to explain everything he saw while doing AC maintenance including review of pictures and video of the entire AC unit from compressor, duct work, insulation. Can't believe how ABSOLUTELY THOROUGH this service was. Very professional and personable. HIGHLY recommended!

Thanks so much for coming out for the quote on my duct cleaning! I'm SO pleased with the inspection that was done! Glen was there for over 4 hours, definitely a complete inspection! My previous service company was never there longer than 30 minutes! Found a few things they have missed for years! Well I had to retract my previous review and give Goettl 5 stars because this last week they really went above and beyond to fix our plumbing nightmare. Kaleb installed our plumbing and it looks great! Really nice guy and knows his stuff. Francis came out and was just wonderful. He listened and gave lots of insight. He was more than helpful and very respectful and we would request him for any future calls. Chris, who is the service manager that ultimately had to come out and save the day, was able to get our leak to stop.
In less than an hour he was able to find and fix the problem with ease. He clearly has years of experience under his belt and I am more than confident in his work. Chris was so nice and came as soon as we spoke even though I believe he was supposed to be getting off work at that time. Chris has a genuine compassion for people. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and definitely saved Goettl from losing a Sadie Member. Thanks to Chris we love and highly recommend Goettl.

I only read negative reviews, because I know positive reviews can be bought. I've never left a review because I've never been 100% satisfied with services I've received. But my experience with Goettl has been so good, I feel compelled to share. Goettl was the 3rd company I had give a quote to replace both AC units. The consultation with Tony was professional, friendly, and informative.
He listened to my concerns, and addressed each of them reasonably. The financial conversation with Austin was fair, and he didn't attempt to pressure me into buying more than I wanted. Their pricing was exactly between the two other companies I had already received quotes from (But I expected Goettl to be much higher). He gave me five options for equipment, and discounted adding insulation to my attic, without me asking.
The entire install team was punctual, courteous, professional, and extremely polite. He listened to my concerns, and addressed each of them reasonably. The financial conversation with Austin was fair, and he didn't attempt to pressure me into buying more than I wanted. Their pricing was exactly between the two other companies I had already received quotes from (But I expected Goettl to be much higher). He gave me five options for equipment, and discounted adding insulation to my attic, without me asking.

Complete 180 and now pretty much a scam. Twice I've done a price comparison with other plumbers and they are asking 3-5x the normal price! While ago our water heater needed replacing so I called Goettl + 2 other plumbers. Normal price is $1200-1400 (you can find this online). Goettl quoted me $3600-4800! For a normal gas tank water heater. Tried to tell me there's different gadgets that cost more - like temperature control! What?
Recently we had a drain clog. They tried to snake it then ran a camera and found a huge clog that needed a pressure wash to clear (totally fine - no issues there). But then came the price - 2 other plumbers: $400. Goettl: $1890! Totally insane! Both times, had sales guys call back asking "how much am I looking to pay?" Absolutely bonkers what they're doing. Trying to clean people out. Bottom line - get quotes, do your research, know how much to really pay.

We were in a terrible situation, because the shower water control and its valve had failed, so the water could not be turned off. To stop the water from just running all day, we had to turn the whole house water off. That was a serious problem, however, for three people living in the house to not have water for any purpose including toilets or anything else.
I started calling around to some of the other plumbers I had worked with, but nobody had anyone available to come and help. That would leave us without water for at least a day almost 2 days maybe. But I always remembered Goettl from its radio commercials and billboards, and it sounded like a fun place to contact anyway, so I called them. What a wonderful fact to find out that they could send someone out, that they really are a 24-hour plumbing service, and that they could help us within a few hours.
They are also great about keeping you informed about the status of your call and what's going to happen next. Everybody was friendly and dedicated to having our problem solved that same night as the water had been off for so long. The technician came out, discovered what the problem was, confirmed that we needed a new valve, and installed the whole thing.
It was done in the early evening and everybody was happy, you have no idea! We would highly recommend Goettl in the future for anyone, based on this experience. Plus we enjoy their various advertising :-

Been using Goettl for many years, and have bought 2 complete Heating/Cooling systems from them and also a gas ware heater. I always have them out twice a year for system check ups. Today the tech was Nathan who did a great job. Very polite and professional. My experience with Goettl and their technicians has always been positive and never an equipment issue. So I do recommend them highly.

We are truly please with the excellent customer service we received. We had to have one of our air conditioners replaced during the hottest time of the year and they were amazing. They were prompt, courteous and had a great "Can Do" attitude. A couple of weeks ago one of our toilets started making noise and once again the service prompt and truly professional. We signed up for the annual service which is a no brainer as they inspect twice a year and if we need anything, we receive a ten percent discount. They are fantastic.

My whole house was backed up while I had family over but luckily Goettl was able to have a technician out that day! Gilbert was very knowledgeable and was able to get it to clear. He was able to give us a camera inspection and found roots that broke into the pipe. We got that piece removed and replaced with clean outs At a good price! I can promise you goettl has a new member for life

Our AC was put in over 6 years ago, and never worked properly. We have had people out at least twice a year who would tell us that everything was fine. Tony reviewed the concerns we have been having with our AC system, then made an inspection in the attic. He was able to tell us right away what the was causing the problems we were having. Next move - let Goettle make the necessary changes!

I got Goettl AC, tankless water heater, and water softener this past year. The best part about Goettl is it's very receptive to calls for maintenance. Throughout this past year, if I had an issue, I never waited on hold too long and had someone from Goettl coming the next day. I've been struggling with an odd plumbing issue that nobody could figure out.
That is until Mark from Goettl came by and took the time to figure out exactly what was going on. Now everything works great! He even went above and beyond and gave me his contact information if I had any questions directly to him.

We had a kitchen sink drain clog and so we called Goettl as they could make it out the next day. Others we called had nothing available till 3 or 4 days. We needed our kitchen sink! So glad we called them! He called us before he came to the house so we didn't have to stay home and wait all day. His name is Brandon and he was such a great, friendly guy.
He took care of the sink in no time and also cleaned out our shower drain. Very professional too but also personable. Nice combination for sure. We will always call them when we need help. Great company as we have used them before. So as a pointer for the future.do not throw away old instant mashed potato flakes down the drain!

I felt like I was being sold a car at a used car lot. The initial intake was good. The gentleman stated that some will be at my home within the agreed upon time. I then received a call from a tech who wanted to go over the info over the phone because he knew the size of my home and the year it was built. Well, he provided info on the unit (which wasn't named) the price and how much I'd pay each month if I financed it.
These units ranged from $9,000 to $19,000 with a rating of 1 to 5. I was not told the terms or interest rates. So with that in mind, I felt that I wasn't the customer they were looking to assist and thanked the guy and hang up. I then receive a call from the guy about 3 hours later apologizing stating that if I needed him to come to my residence, he would.

The HVAC system in our home needed upgrading. Contacted Goettl and they set up an appointment for Tony Garcia to come out and assess the situation. Tony was on time, courteous, knowledge and very professional. Provide and honest and accurate assessment of the situation. I would highly recommend Tony and Goettl to anyone needing their services. Better than advertised!

$355 for a 20 minute hose bib repair with no drywall. Guy said that was after $90 inspection fee was waived. Other local plumbers quoted about $150 for the same job. Unfortunately this was the quickest and most available service so I paid their fee. Good work, ridiculous prices. Go small business if time isn't a problem.

I needed new toilets installed since I just moved into a house where the toilets needed to be replaced due to age. Instead of doing what was actually needed, they tried to say that a ton of things needed to be replaced (which wasn't needed) and quoted me 8k to do the job and charged $89 just to look at it. I ended up using a different company and it was done the right way, and didn't cost me EIGHT THOUSAND Dollars! Needless to say, I won't ever use Goettl.

While the technicians are very polite and nice, Goettl has spent a lot of money on marketing and PR and not enough in expanding the service personnel portion of their business. As a person with a vast work experience my assessment is that Goettl has over sold it services without having sufficient personnel with adequate experience and training to support those services.
I have had more Goettl technicians in my home in the past 18 months than my own family or friends. I don't hold the technicians responsible; I hold the owner of Goettl, Ken Goodrich, responsible for not having sound business practices. I am stuck with Goettl because I have one of their a/c units which was installed in the summer of 2020 and has not functioned properly since installation.
I have had to rearranged my appointments and schedules and have spent countless hours waiting for technicians trying to resolve one problem after the next. One service call started at 9:30pm and ended at 11pm for a appointment window that was supposed to be between 4-7pm. It is evident that there is no Service Policy/Procedure checklist for technicians to assist them in providing comprehensive and professional service calls. Additionally, there should not be such a large demand on the Warranty portion of the business workforce if the front end work is done correctly in the first place.
The dispatch/messenger center is either understaffed or sufferers from the same lack of P/P mentioned above. All the service technicians are friendly and extremely courteous. As well, the service manager I have been assigned to is also very courteous and has worked hard to "make it right". However, the administrative failures mention will eventually take their toll on the company's reputation and its financial stability. I am hoping that the issues are finally resolved.

Craig and his crew did amazing job digging a 4' by 12' hole in the middle of the living room to replace sewer pipes. They worked for two days straight. Covered with plastic all the shutters and openings to the rest of the house. We're very respectful of personal items. Completed the job early. Definitely call them for any plumbing needs.

Aaron, our service personnel, was absolutely amazing! He was efficient and quick. Most importantly he was honest. So hard to find these days. Our hot water heater blew and we called Goettl for service. They said they would be here between 1-4 12/13/21. 4 came and went and they didn't show or call us. We called and were told hey had a lot of big jobs that ran o we their appointment times and that they would reschedule us first appointment on 12/14/2021. 12/14 we were notified that the Quade would be arriving soon. Quade was able to remove the old tank and install the new one quickly. He even swept and mopped the floor when he finished. Very happy with our install and with Quade.

Installed soft water unit. Dylon was very good, explained everything to me. Spent 2 hours telling me all about installing soft water unit. Michael did a great job installing the soft water unit. Explained to me about how and when to replace salt. He worked very long and hard, and did a great job. I will use Goettl again, and recommend them to friends and family, who would need your services. Carlos Hernandez Ortiz was the tech who came to do the rejuvenation of our heat pump in preparation for the cold weather. He was very courteous and explained what he was going to do. After he had completed his inspection he showed me the photos of the system and explained what he recommended to make the unit be efficient. My husband was not home so Carlos suggested getting him on the phone to explain the options.
He seemed to want to be sure we got the best price for the work that was decided on. He completed the work and showed me the "after"pictures. I cannot say enough nice things about this young man. (Original Review - 6/9/2021) Came to my house to clear a kitchen line clog. First visit: didn't try snaking it, straight up told me they needed to to hydrojet the line and that would clear it, guaranteed. Second visit: hydrojet failed, claimed I had a hardener blockage - yet even charged me $1000 even after guaranteeing it would work. After that, I, a homeowner with little plumbing experience, rented a snake and unclogged it myself. Goettl has not yet refunded my money and am beyond irritated that they claim "do things the right way".
Avoid these folks, if you can. (Update - 9/27/2021) A Michael A. from Goettl responded to the above review asking me to contact them for clarification on my issue. I did - or at least I tried. Over and over and over again. Yet I heard nothing back. Phone calls and emails galore, giving them ample opportunities and time to correct their mistakes, yet I heard nothing.

Very disappointed in the service I have received from Goettl. I had a new hot water heater installed by Dayton exactly 1 year ago. Fast forward to a couple days ago and my hot water heater is not working--the pilot light won't stay lit. Come to find out Dayton sold the business to Goettl, who no longer "has a plumbing department" in my area but is coming "sometime in Q4." I have had several calls with them only getting as far as the receptionist and being told I would be contacted by the manager John, but he never called back.
Every conversation there is some vague answer like "he has a vacation coming up but I'm not sure when, he might be in the office Monday" and I have yet to talk to him. I was told my manufacturer's warranty would cover parts and labor, but no other plumbing company will do the labor to fix my water heater. So basically within 1 year of a brand new hot water heater I am stuck paying someone else to fix it and I haven't even been able to talk to the manager about it because his receptionists are running interference.
The kicker was that on one call with a receptionist I just asked for an email with my warranty information. She said she would send it. She never did so when I called back a few hours later asking for it, she sends my invoice and acts like I'm the dumb one for asking where the warranty information is. Then she realized she sent something else and when I asked for the warranty information, I got the "I'll have John call you" line again--which he never did. Very poor service and no backing of a brand new product I bought new with "warranty parts and labor" a year ago.

Our brand new air conditioner started leaking over our bathroom yesterday. We called Goettl to come and check it. They stated they couldn't get to it until the next day at 3:00pm. In the mean time we had to call an emergency plumber to come out and try to dry out the ceiling. Over night the entire bathroom ceiling collapsed into the room. Goettl was again called and they said that they wouldn't make it out until 6-10 pm.
We explained the situation, they didn't seem to care. We just received a call saying that the tech had gone home and we had to wait until tomorrow. For a company that says they are a customer oriented company that cares, their response and customer services is seriously lacking.

If I could give NO stars I would. They left us high and dry and hot as hell. They said they would be back in 2 days and 2 weeks later the issue had gotten worse and we had to call them again. So now after 2 months the AC is still not fixed. They thought by loaning us one of there portable AC units they could just abandon us again. They were supposed to be out last Thursday - NO SHOW, then Friday - NO SHOW, now today - NO SHOW.
They are horrible at their job, they don't know their "A" from a hole in the ground. If you have a service contract with them you have my deepest sympathies, because they just don't care.

Update: I received a call from Jennifer at Goettl. I felt that she listened to what I had to say and was genuinely concerned about my experience. I understand sometimes things happen (busy schedules, new staff etc) and service is not what they would like it to be. I really appreciate when I feel heard and my concern is addressed. I will continue to do business with Goettl. ********************* I have tried to call into Goettl to speak to a management level individual because my concern is not Supervisory level.
I was unable to find information on their website to submit a concern norwould they transfer me to management. I had an appointment today and a scheduling conflict came up. I called at 8:50 am to let them know and see if they ould accommodate my request. I spoke to an individual at the call center and the result if the call was to keep me on the schedule for an agreed upon window of time that was within the original 8 am to 11 am time period.
I received a call at 8:59 am from Goettl Dispatch that a tech was on the way. When I asked about what time she said 10 am. I let her know that I just spoke to someone to adjust the time to 11 am. She said, "I don't know who you talked with but I am in dispatch and looking at the schedule and and I can tell you that is not going to happen". She went on to explain their business process etc which 8n the moment was not all that helpful.
It felt similar to when someone says "it's policy". I ended up rescheduling a month out after already waiting a month for this appointment. I got stuck between two departments who are not sharing the same network to service customers OR, once Dispatch saw the notes they said "no way" and called me. I would have understood if the Dispatcher just acknowledged the over site of the other department instead of speaking disparagingly. Their marketing is fantastic but their practices do not match.

We enjoyed the installation and the quality of the hot water heater, although we noticed following that there was a dramatic markup. However, the matter of the monthly plan and the cleaning of A/C and services are something I did not appreciate. We were told the coils would be cleaned and included in the service because we had the monthly plan. Then there was a $200.00 fee.
We attempted to gain clarification and felt they talked around out question. Furthermore, they state there is carbon dioxide leak. We need to replace the unit for 12k to 15k. Pushed for us to do it right now. Even scaring me into a monthly contract. We had just done other work on the home so it was not an option. Now I have cash and Goettle apparently is the highest around when you pay cash and do not finance.
So we will be getting it done by another company. I have told the husband to cancel the plan and will not be using it. It was a waste of 6 months of payments for nothing. Please be aware that there are hidden fees and a cash wholesale price may be cheaper when you do a google search and call the wholesale companies. They will even have a vendor install it for a fee.

One of my many sister in laws is super warm and fuzzy like myself, they actually are, but this one needed a new hot water heater and thanks to advertising she found Goettl. The commercials say everything you want to hear. You are so happy after listing and it is so refreshing to hear how much they care. I personally love the commercials and I feel a business should be ran like they state.
It was more like the beginning of a Henry Rollin's Band (Liar) song flashback. Goettl came out to look an ac unit for them one that was blowing warm air. They ended up replacing motors on both ac units. No issues there. Fee months down the road their hot water heater stopped working. Goettl talked them into spending over 6k and upgrading to a tankless hot water heater with a 15 year warranty.
They also recommend the tankless water heaters have annual maintenance like the ac unit. For 299.00 they come out annually to rejuvenate the ac and the water heater. So she signed up. Just in time for her first annual visit the water heater started acting up. The Goettl service man let her know that the system should have never been installed and used with hard water.
If she didn't install a softwater system her tankless water heater would fail her again. Only their soft water system would work for this issue so they sold her a $6k soft water system. The original water heater installer never mentioned anything about needing soft water. The soft water system was incorrectly installed so they had another service man come out and reinstall it properly.
So in 12 months her family spent over $12,500. She really didn't feel in the long run the cost for the water heater, soft water system, and annual was beneficial at all. A few months later they ended up with a leak in their ceiling unrelated to any plumbing done from Goettl. She called Goettl to come out to give her a quote. They told her what part she would need.
She went and picked up what they would need at her local home improvement store for under $20.00 to help save money. Then Goettl called and emailed her an invoice estimate for just under $2k to replace a small 5 inch pipe section. As any plumbing company this did not include the drywall repair. They are plumbers. She called my husband in dispare. He called a commercial plumbing contractor company well known and asked if they had anyone that would do residential.
They sent a random guy out to her home and he fixed it for $100. This was not done as a favor. This was just their fee for the trip charge and small repair. My husband assisted her husband with the drywall.
