I had a breach in my system and DE was going back into my pool. Compounded by 3 large Live Oaks dropping leaves and pollen it looked like the Sargasso Sea. Doug checked and diagnosed the problem replacing 2 O-rings and the backwash plunger. Pool looks beautiful now! I plan on using them for all of my future pool needs and highly recommend them.

Pool care specialists has been great! Even through last years winter storm damage, COVID wrk shortage, weekly maintenance, and quick fixes (O ring replacements, replacement of Polaris part), they've always been responsive, timely, and professional. Amanda has always been available when I have inquiries, and the pool guys have always been timely. They always communicate well on any changes big or small. Highly recommend Doug and his team!

The construction of our pool completed last year and I started with this company and have used them for a complete year. They are not good. They are not proactive with solutions. I had to call them multiple times. Even after letting them know there were problems, they were unresponsive. Furthermore, my technician has changed like five times in the last year, which may indicate the internal stability of this company.

I would go elsewhere, and might possibly have to deal with staining of my marble pebbletec. These people do not know what they are doing. And this is their full service, not a worry package. Yikes.

My experience with Pool Care Specialists was without a doubt the most unprofessional business interaction I've ever had. They came out and diagnosed a broken heater and advised what parts were needed and cost for repair. I immediately signed the quote and never heard back from them. After a week I called back and they said they forgot to schedule me.

Ok no problem it happens. On the day they were suppose to come it was a total no show with no phone call. I call the next day and they said "Oops sorry we forgot.and oh by the way we can't get the parts needed for the fix". Trying to be patient and reasonable I ask if I can get the parts myself can the technician do the install and I just pay for labor.

The receptionist said that was completely fine and she would reschedule me. Over the course of the next few weeks I made at least 20 phone calls advising them I had the parts and when could they schedule service. Every time I called it was the same line: "I don't know I'll have to talk the owner but I'll be sure to call you back." Never a single call back.

Finally was able to get on their schedule and I got not one, but TWO more no shows on appointments. Doug (the owner) finally calls me about two months later after the initially quote and says "Sorry we don't install parts provided by customers and we don't have time to fix your heater". If they don't want to install parts they don't provide, fine.

Just tell me at the start instead of wasting my time. They gave me a quote on February 6 and owner finally calls me on April 7. Do yourself a favor and avoid Pool Care Specialists. There are plenty of other pool companies in the north DFW area that would be happy with your business.

My pool and spa had black and green algae that I was not able to manage any longer. I contacted Pool Care Specialist and they immediately addressed the problem and arrived almost everyday to monitor the problem until it was totally resolved. I'm thankful to have them now weekly maintaining my pool and spa. A Great Team of Professionals!

Great communication and quick service! We had our old fiber optic light system replaced with LED lighting. Doug even had to make a custom fitting for an LED light in our spa because the normal ones were too long to fit. He went above and beyond in a timely manner!

Great company. Weekly pool cleaning service is priced competitively and performed by an actual employee of the company and not contracted out like so many other pool companies. Also, needed some repair work done on spa heater and additional leak issues. The owner, Doug, responded quickly and actually completed the repairs himself with fair pricing. I would highly recommend this company.

We have been using Pool Care Specialists for over 5 years and we love (Doug!) Beyond the weekly care of our pool and spa (which is exceptional) he has helped with many issues that inevitably come with owning a pool. He's always available by text or phone and no matter the time or day he promptly get's back with us and patiently listens and troubleshoots the problem.

I know he has saved us a great deal of money over the years. Doug is worth his weight in gold! He's honest, trustworthy, and has an adorable family! We love Pool Care Specialists and highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

My experience with Doug at Pool Care Specialists has been excellent. He arrives every week on his scheduled day to service my pool. I especially like the weekly report he emails me once he leaves. No other pool company that I have used before has ever done that. Whatever service he performs is on that report along with the quality of my water. I'm a very busy woman so phone calls are difficult to fit in sometimes.

Not a problem.if I text him, he answers me right back. He's very dependable with excellent communication and I would highly recommend this company to anyone with a pool. He is also "certified" and registered with the BBB, which makes me even more confident in the quality of service I receive. If you hire this company, you will not be disappointed.

One last very important point I'd like to make. I was told by several pool companies in the past that I had a broken pipe which is why my pool lost so much water. I was told to hire a leak detection company which costs about $300.00. Doug found the problem in a few minutes. All it needed was to have the O rings replaced. Now instead of adding water to my pool every other day, I only have to add water once a week. This has made a huge difference in my water bill. I don't usually give reviews, however, this company was worth my review. My pool water looks amazing!
