The standard of service from this Team at Riverbend Sandler is simply outstanding! The team go above and beyond what they are called to do. We had an issue with the pump which was picked up by our pool Tech (Saxon who is the BEST) which was sent to the Customer Service Team. Ken came out immediately to take a look and it appeared to be cloogging issues in the pump which he addressed and the pump was up and running again in 5 minutes.
They could have passed us on to the next team for repairs but took the time to do this himself! Such BRILLIANT care and attention from Ken at Riverbend Sandler! Thanks a million for your honesty, integrity and awesome work ethic! We appreciate you!

Built a great pool and initial service was good. 2021 and now into 2022 their service has been abysmally bad. They only show up half the time, they rarely have any chlorine tabs, and they don't address issues (filter pressure, cleaning the filter basket) that exist when they actually show up to clean. When I have called to ask about them not showing up, they seem annoyed. The call I received in response? They told me that they would refund the service fee for the week they didn't show up. Wow, thanks! Don't use these guys.

Riverbend Sandler built my pool in 2006. I have had absolutely no problems with it other than the normal wear and tear issues with the pool equipment. When I need service on the equipment I always call Riverbend Sandler. James Guice is a very qualified technician and most of all he cares about his customers. Customer service is so hard to find these days and it really makes me appreciate James even more. If you're looking to build a pool or you need any kind of service on your pool, I recommend Riverbend Sandler.

Our pool filter pump motor failed unexpectedly, leaving us without any water circulation through filter in hot weather. Their service dept responded quickly, and Riverbend Sandler furnished and installed a new replacement motor the next day. Their field technician was very professional and efficient, the replacement motor was installed quickly, and water circulation was restored. Price was competitive. We are very pleased with this interaction with Riverbend Sandler.

We are very pleased with our Riverbend Sandler pool! From the design stage all the way to completion, everyone did a great job of communicating and keeping us up to date on the progress. Our designer Hank Henry did a good job of listening to our wishes and turning them into a beautiful design. We couldn't have been happier. Our project manager, Francisco, was awesome!

I am so thankful I had the opportunity to experience a Riverbend Sandler Pool Build. Being in the outdoor construction industry, I hear all of the nightmares when it comes to pool builders. Riverbend Sandler goes above and beyond to ensure that they are not lumped into that category. From day one they showed more care than any of the bidders that came to our property.
They listened to our ideas, and guided us into a design that was not only beautiful, but functional. The process of building the pool was explained and expectations were set accurately. They were always where they said they would be when they said they would be there. At one point in the process, I remember seeing a flaw that bothered me. I knew it was minuscule in the grand scheme of things, but it was still something that I noticed.
I sat and mulled it over all night worrying about what would occur. The next day I called my PM and he had the crew out that day to make it right. That instance showed me who they were as a company. I can honestly say these guys put their heart and soul in their work, and their product shows. They are a great team that has earned a forever customer from me.

We've loved everything about our Riverbend Sandler Pool- the design, the build process, the customer service- and now the fun part- the enjoyment! Our designer, Matt Toney, and Project Manager, Mike Eastes, are the absolute best at what they do! We still haven't found a single thing we'd change or do differently- they are THAT good! UPDATE: 5 days after I posted this review, a CSM from Riverbend Sandler called me. He apologized and wanted to send out a repairmen to fix the problem. To me this was 5 days, plus 3 weeks too late and dis ingenuous. I still feel that Riverbend Sandler needs to take a hard look at their Customer Service. Bought a house in McKinney, 2014. It had a pool installation by Riverbend Sandler.
Each time we called for service we had to play a waiting game for them to show up, and they had always been pretty pricey. This last time was the last straw. We called for service and Linda, in the service dept., told us that they could not give us an appt. but we would go on a list and they would call us probably the day before. We waited 3 weeks and still no call.
I called and asked if we were on any lists and another woman said oh yeah, you're still on it they will probably call you in a few days. I told her to take us off the list. We booked with another leading local pool co. that came out the next day and fixed the problem.

We used Riverbend Sandler to replaster (aggregate) our pool and replace the coping and water feature. The team is professional and did a great job. We met with Cory who helped us understand the process and what to expect in terms of pricing and scheduling. Cory was great to work with and was very patient with our many questions. The team lead, Alan, was very responsive and I thought did a great job coordinating the groups who worked on our project (especially so given the challenges posed by Covid). I highly recommend Riverbend Sandler to anyone who needs their pool remodeled or replastered.

My Service Tech (Steven) was awesome! He was consistent/dependable and knowledgeable. Provided great tips on how to maintain my pool and what to look for. Tom and his team have been servicing our pool since it was built 26 years ago. He and his team have always been responsive to our needs. The work has been done on time and right the first time. We always follow any suggestions from Tom to keep our pool in great condition with sparkling water. We reached out to Tom after the freeze of 2020, he responded quickly, assessed the damage, told us what needed to be done, scheduled the repairs, came out on the scheduled date, and took care of all of the issues.
I have 4 family members that have built pools with Riverbend Sandler and continue using Tom and his team for all of their maintenance and repairs. Tom is the BEST! I wouldn't use anyone else!

I have been going to the Riverbend Sandler Retail Store for years. I buy my pool chemicals/supplies there and have my water tested. They also serviced my pool cleaner. Trey and Reba are very knowledgeable, thorough, professional and friendly. Many years ago, I tried to do my own water testing, but I was never confident with the results. Since having my water tested at the store, I feel confident that I am using the correct chemicals and amounts for my pool. Mark me as a satisfied customer!

We built our pool in 2009 and from the design process (Hank) to the construction (Bert, CM) to start up (Mark) and service (Jason) we have had an excellent experience with RSP. We buy our pool supplies from their retail store where Trey and Reba are top notch and always have solutions to all of our needs. After the February 2021 deep freeze we had substantial damage to most of the equipment as we lost power for three days. Thankfully I called shortly after the power went out, in the middle of the night, and left a message on their answering machine and was on the service list early and was back up and running within a week. As we are well past the build our routine interaction with Trey, Reba and Jason are enough for us to continue to recommend Riverbend for all things pool.

Our pool was built in the mid 80s by Riverbend. When we bought the house/pool in 2000 we used other pool companies for a few years. After many frustrations we called Riverbend and have been a customer since 2006. It's been a great experience! Even with our nightmare winter last year the service team has remained reliable and hard working through the problems. Tom is exceptional! He's professional and cares about doing the job right. RBS did a good job of building our pool; it was on time and on budget. Our weekly service technician has also been polite and timely. Service for your investment/expense is where they fall WAAAAAAY short. Below is a note I just sent to RBS: I just got off the phone with you "service coordinator"; sorry, I didn't catch her name. As an organization, you have put her in an untenable position of having to tell customers "no" with no option available to her to remedy the situation.
I am writing to communicate my absolute frustration and disappointment with Riverbend Sandler (RBS). We called in June for a service call on our Jandy heater (installed by RBS as part of our new pool construction in the summer of 2017). At the time, we were told that it would be 4-6 weeks before a technician could come out to look at it. After 12 weeks and no work from RBS, we reached back out and were told that y'all are still behind on such calls and you would not commit to ANY timeframe to make the call.
I understand that you may have more work than you can handle but treating your customer who, in the past 36 months, has paid you upwards of $100,000 between construction and ongoing weekly maintenance, this way should be considered wholly unacceptable by your organization. We went with your company for construction because of your responsiveness in the sales process.
That was apparently a bait and switch; love us before you commit then become unresponsive when needed later. I have given instruction to cancel our maintenance contract but to retain the service call. Our heater should be under warranty if based on the initial service call in June as our build wasn't completed until September 2017; less than three years before the service call.

Beware of service. Maybe they have all of the business they need right now, but the service department has not been very responsive. I had to wait 5 months for someone to service my pool after the winter freeze just for them to tell me they couldn't make the repair to my Aqua cal. Once I paid $2500 for that repair (which took another 6-8 weeks), I now can't heat my spa without it completely draining.
I put in another service ticket in September and they are telling me I need to wait another 6 to 8 weeks for someone in maintenance to even look at it. Even more upsetting is the fact that I have to call to get the ETA updates. After dropping more than six figures on a pool and paying regular maintenance fees I expected better.

Like everyone else, we decided to add a pool during the summer of 2020. I contacted Riverbend Sandler based on recommendations from friends and our home builder. I knew of Riverbend Sandler for many years but after further research, learned that they are a family-owned business that has been around for decades. I worked with an in-house designer, Matt Toni, to create a beautiful pool based on the unique aspects of my back yard. Matt was able to combine all the elements that I wanted in order to create a cohesive and elegant pool design.
He also was patient while I tweaked and changed certain parts of the design and agonized over material selections. When we got to the construction phase, Jay Farmer, the project manager was such a pleasure to work with. He was always professional and friendly even though he was juggling many, many projects. He listened and worked to resolve my concerns regarding the aesthetics of the plaster and always took my questions and concerns seriously.
After the project was completed and there was a hiccup with the pool equipment, Jay called me back on a Sunday (on his own time) to try and help me with an issue. He also made sure a small chip in the lueder steps was fixed quickly when I noticed some damage. Riverbend Sandler's construction department is organized and efficient and they generally keep you informed as to progress.
You may have delays due to weather or material shortages but I never found the delays to be extended or without explanation. After completion I decided to use Riverbend Sandler for weekly service as well. Barry, the service manager, is very informed and will always listen to your concerns and provide helpful feedback. Overall I'm pleased with the folks I worked with at Riverbend and I think they do build quality pools. If you want a beautiful pool and peace of mind, you are well served to use Riverbend Sandler.

Riverbend Sandler just completed our new pool. The pool construction is excellent, exactly as designed, and completed on time as promised. The crews they hired were professional and meticulous. Riverbend Sandler just finished our pool. They have been great to work with throughout the process. Hank helped us create the perfect design for our space, and Jay was our project manager who guided us throughout the construction process. He was attentive, responsive and went out of his way to help us with any questions or concerns. The construction process was methodical and organized, and the crew cleaned up the site each day when they were finished working. We would highly recommend them if you are looking to put in a pool.

We built a new pool with Riverbend Sandler that completed in October 2020. We immediately signed up for Riverbend's weekly maintenance and custom care program. Now begins what is surely a revival episode of Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd. Our pool has been damaged by the maintenance team's incompetence. There is calcium scale all over the pool tile and discoloration of the plaster from the pH and other metrics consistently being out of balance.
I can count on one hand the number of times the pool chemistry has been in range the past nine months when the pool was completed. Our pool chlorine reading has been ZERO several times. Our pool is 16,000 gallons and chlorine tablet demand for our size pool is 3-4 tablets per week. They put in ONE tablet and didn't put another single tablet in for SIX weeks!
My children's safety has been compromised by the unhealthy water conditions. Our 6 month cleaning wasn't performed until after 8 months with me having to call multiple times to get it scheduled. I've been in contact with the manager numerous times over the past several months regarding our pool's maintenance to no avail. There was a week where Riverbend missed our service with no notification.
They have proven to be unreliable. Riverbend builds such beautiful pools. It's a huge disappointment the maintenance department doesn't hold the same standards. You can come out now, Ashton Kutcher. The joke is over. The images attached speak for themselves. Riverbend is not accepting any responsibility even though they built the pool nine months ago and we used only their maintenance department to service it weekly.

We paid nearly $1200 for LED pool light that came with 3 years parts and labor warranty. I placed a warranty repair request and was told that wait time is 8-10 weeks. They said that lighting is not a priority for them. I understand that some people may have a more serious issues, but I would like my lights to work. I would not pay $1200 if I would not need/want it.
I can not believe that service call can not be done sooner. Seems like they just not interested in doing it. I am considering to contact the manufacturer directly and see if I may have other options for warranty replacement/repair.

When we priced pools, Riverbend was on the upper end of the cost, but I assume we get what we pay for. They built a nice pool, everything was according to the design, and they service the pool for me and overall do a great job. Next breath service sometimes is difficult, and may require more than two or three calls until someone comes out, but maybe that is everywhere. Overall satisfied like we all are.when something goes wrong, then less so until they fix it.lol

For some reason the Riverbend staff added a comment to my post recently to make it seem like they fixed all of the poor quality work they did. Some improvements were made after months of fighting with them, but most of it I just gave up on. Here are pictures from April 2021. Just over a year after The pool was completed. Judge for yourself. We still feel cheated. We are not satisfied with the quantity of their work.

Have no idea how good they are at redesigning and constructing pools because their sales service has been more than disappointing. First returned call from sales rep was while I was transferring my mother to a new hospital and I asked if I could call back within the hour. Sales person didn't pick up and voice mail was full. Finally reached him a few days later - I had to track him down because he didn't call me back either.
We set an appointment for a couple of weeks out due to challenges with my mother's health. I had him text me the confirmed time. Appointment time comes along - no show - no response to text and phone goes to voice mail. Lord knows what the rest of the service would be like. Apparently other reviews of lousy service are clearly a reflection of a complacent ownership. They are off my list.

Horrible customer service. Had them come out to service and clean our pool filter. They where great at identifying an issue and after our warranty services said they wouldn't fix the issue, we asked for them to order the part. Here we are 5 days later, called to see where we are in the part being replaced, THE PART WASNT ORDERED. I am so sick of bad customer service! Thanks

Cristian Guzman was assigned as our project manager. Not only did he manage the overall project really well, he epitomized first class customer service.
