Edwards Plumbing & Heating was founded in 1948 in Montgomery, AL. For over 65 years they have been installing plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems for the leading homebuilders in the area. Originally founded as a plumbing and hardware store, they expanded into installing mechanical systems in 1959 and dropped the hardware division.It was only natural that the service and repair department would grow to help maintain the number of installations being done over the years. Today, they have grown to over 35 trucks and 3 separate divisions- Plumbing, Heating and Air, and a Duct department. Currently Edwards Plumbing employs over 70 people and services Montgomery, Autauga, and Elmore counties installing over 600 systems a year.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! They did our initial inspection before we purchased our house 3 years ago and gave us a fair and honest assessment of the systems in the house. Last year they did a complete replace of the inside and outside parts of the heating and cooling system in the heat of August. The price for that service was extremely competitive and everything was done well, including running a new electrical circuit and running new refrigerant lines.
Today a pair of gentlemen came out to replace our hot water heater and like usual the service was performed quickly and well. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing or heating/cooling service. Every interaction with everyone, on the phone and in person, has been pleasant and they have been able to get a service team out quickly each time. I wish I could give 10 out of 5 stars!

These guys are very dependable and timely. I had an emergency and they had someone come out the same day to see about the issue. They were friendly, courteous and cared about fixing my issue. I initially called spire for this heating issue but they no longer service the area and I was referred several companies where "Edwards Heating and Plumbing" was on the list. Called and received service within a few hours - what I thought would be a huge expense was actually a simple fix and was basically charged for a service call. Guys were very professional and even cleaned my coils (as a bonus measure) and waited to see if the simple solution to the thermostat was indeed the problem. Service was fantastic and the price was certainly right! HIGHLY recommend using Edwards for your HVAC needs and repairs!

We are so pleased with all the workers and products from Edwards over the past 20 years. Your plumbing crew has done an extraordinary job every time they have been out - replacing faucets, installing the disposal, and clearing up clogged pipes. Our house would simply be a leaky, backed up mess without them. They are always courteous, professional, and loads of fun.

I had to have some repair on my home air conditioning system. Our daughter had recommended you and it was a good selection. Your technician found the problem, fixed it immediately, and presented my wife with a startling bill, ie, $82. She was here alone and I had briefed her on what might happen to a soaring bill.
