Solar Solution AZ

This is a bit premature for a review, but so far we've been happy with the communication from SSAZ. We haven't had the system installed yet, but so far it's been good. They were helpful in going through the different types of panels and inverters. I asked a lot of questions and was always appreciative of their detailed responses. Their prices were good, and I didn't feel any up sell pressure.

They never tried to talk me into buying more expensive panels or a battery storage system I didn't want. Ill wait for the panels to be installed and working for a final review but I'd recommend them so far.

Solar Solution AZ installed solar panels on our home in February 2022. The order processing, installation, and performance of the system have been wonderful. At Solar Solution AZ they are family-oriented. They were not pushy like others were to me. I have had many neighbors decide to get solar panels through them as well.

I decided to use Solar Solution AZ for my solar install on my home. Everybody I worked with including the installers were very professional. I just started to use the system. I purchased solar with battery and now learning how best to use the system. The staff is nice and prompt to respond to inquiries and problems. It took a while working with the utility company to get the system right but once that was done the install went quickly and looks great. Service: Installation

Just had a installation completed and it was a good experience. All the people from the office, sales, techs doing the installation were very good. Had a little problem at the end and they went the extra mile to take care of it. All and all I'm very satisfied with them and do recommend them if you are interested in going solar. They incorrectly installed my solar panels per the submitted plan. Be careful, as they tell you that you are getting "high efficiency premium" panels for the price. What they actually installed were cheap, inefficient panels versus my neighbor who paid about the same, and got top-of-the line efficient panels by the same manufacturer! Shop around before you commit to an installer who uses out of state subcontractors not familiar with local rules and cheap low-efficient panels.

Started out great. Purchased a system from them at a great price that was supposed to provide 120% of my electricity. It did sometimes. Was also told that if I ever sold my house, the loan and system was fully transferable. I specifically wanted and verified that. Trying to communicate with them afterwards was like pulling teeth. They rarely respond to messages on their own website built specifically for that. 3 years later after only supplying about 90% of power for my house, I finally got them to check it out.

They said they didn't supply enough panels for what their contract said: 120%. They did show up and add a few more panels. But no word at at for reimbursing me for the 3 years of not providing the power that was contracted. 1 year later decided to sell my house. All of a sudden the company they used for the loan said the loan was not transferable.

They refused to really help me rectify this or help with it. When I was finally able to sell the house, I lost out on $15,000 because I ended up having to throw in the system for free. I highly recommend buying a system, not leasing. But definitely not from these guys. Find someone reputable that stands by their word.

Solar Solutions AZ is ranked #1 (on Google) in our area and I can see why! I had bids done by 6 companies including Solar Solutions AZ. Solar Solutions AZ answered the phone and was the first company to visit and provide me with an estimate. They were #1 ranked in my research online and came out near the lowest cost of all the bids. I had heard good thing about them from friends so I signed a contract with them on 6/6/2019.

They finished the install on 7/12/19. Just over 1 month from contract signing to complete install. Super happy with the workmanship and of course our almost non existent power bill! Now I can set the thermostats right where I want to and not worry about the bill! A big shout out and thank you to Solar Solutions AZ for their great customer service, high quality workmanship and smooth sailing from start to finish!

Sun Solar Solutions by far was the best priced and best customer experience. Three other companies came prior and were priced fair but were offering low quality and poor customer ethics. Erik Salazar was there from day one until finish. He recommended what was right for our family and our solar future. Erik went the extra mile by giving us a solar powered backpack! I highly recommend Sun Solar Solutions and Erik Salazar for any solar projects.

Much of what was stated to us during the sales presentation and document signing was false or misleading! We were made multiple promises that have not been met. The system is not producing sufficient energy to alleviate our dependence on tep and we will now be paying more for our over all electric then we were we were before getting solar. We purchased solar as a cost saving method based on what we were presented.

It was a financial decision, not a "save the trees" decision. We were mislead(nice word for lied to)! We also were told we would get 30% of the full price back when we did our taxes and that we could use that money to "pay down" the loan before it re-amortized. It would have been nice to have been told that you only get credit and not actual refund and if you don't owe taxes when filing you won't ever get the 30% that was promised!

Every phone call to our salesperson has been worthless as he claims we are getting what we signed for. This has not been a pleasent experience! My neighbors who I recommended after we signed our paperwork and now have their own system are also not seeing the savings promised and are very unhappy also!

I spent time with the salesman and sales manager and asked a lot of questions, which they answered. However, they made representations about the system for my home and when the installer came to survey it, he took one look and said a system couldn't be installed. Since it was near the end of the year, we lost the chance to get a tax credit on another energy saving option. Additionally, before the installer came we were approved through the preferred company's financing, but when we switched to financing through our local credit union, the price dropped by $2000, which made me wonder if Solar Solutions is making more money off the financing than the product.

This might explain the salesman not understanding the installation challenges for himself. Next time I would go with a company whose sales reps really understand the technology fully and can make a general assessment of the limits a given property poses. A disappointing experience.

The most professional and honest presentation out of 5 bids. We went with these guys because they offered the highest wattage panels, cleanest install options and incredible financing options. All things equal, I always go with honest, straight forward LOCAL companies. We are making 55kwh a day and Iove it! Thanks guys!

Deeply Disappointed Solar work was started, men left property in terrible condition. Cigarette butts, empty gatorade cans, 100+ little plastic bags, many cardboard pieces, tons of electrical wire (different colors), general disrespect of property and of the customer. I don't think that the company understands who the customer really is. The company asked me if I was interested in having someone from their company clean up our property, as if I was going to say "no - I'll clean it up", so they could save money, by not sending someone out to clean up the mess they made. I believe this company is truly losing touch with the reality of customer service, and probably should be featured on an episode of American Greed.

Cole from Solar Solutions was very professional and helpful. We have wanted to go solar for awhile and we are glad we got in while the added perks are still in place. We appreciated that Cole left the information for us to look at but did not constantly call like all the other companies we have dealt with. That was our main reason for going with Solar Solutions was how well Cole read us as customers and respected our boundaries so we could make a decision without added pressure. We talked to four Solar Companies when we started looking into Solar for our home. Of all the companies, Brandon with Solar Solution AZ was the best at explaining how the process of the installation, finance, and operation of the system works. The install went without a hitch, the install team was very professional and nice, they took the time to explain what they were doing that day.

The install took two days, they cleaned up after themselves. The workmanship was top notch. The quote was competitive with the other companies, and they offer the best warranty, and they are local here in Tucson, their support is very responsive. We are very happy with our system.

I'm doing a second post here because I can't update my first. So I'm bringing the average rating down extra, though I don't intend to. My initial rating was 1 star, as can be seen if you find it in this list of ratings. One thing I forgot to mention in my post was that they offered me $1000 off if I gave them a good Yelp rating. So it's entirely possible - if not likely - that their true average rating is lower than what it currently is, as they're bribing customers for positive reviews.

Mixed results with service follow-thru, but overall very satisfied. We have dealt with Solar Solution twice over the last few years, the first time (Mar 2017) for the initial system and the 2nd time (Feb 2019) to add on more panels. Unfortunately our first rep underestimated how many panels we needed, so we had to go back and add on 9 more panels later to obtain the results we had anticipated.

I will say each time they were very pleasant, easy to deal with, and their prices seemed reasonable overall. Our first experience was fairly timely without many issues other than an initial failed TEP inspection that was quickly rectified. The second time we found the company to be much more sluggish on taking care of business and it was frustrating having to wait significantly longer for follow-thru to get all of the work completed.

Eventually everything was completed satisfactorily, we are happy with our system, & are now seeing the results we expected. We would have loved to have had this done right the first time, not had to deal with financing twice, & not go through all of the hassle twice.

I love how easy everything was and how they just took the monkey off my back and handled everything. The price was fair, they took care of dealing with my HOA amd I can't wait to start saving money with my solar panels!

I also agree with other reviewers. Complete lack of communication, and just asking me to wait or take care of communicating with TEP. I had to wait four weeks to start solar system by their mistake. Waiting of several months with no communication was really hard. Reviewed from Tucson, AZ, not San Francisco.

I'm not sure where to even begin. If I had to do this all over again I would have went with Solar City. We made the wonderful decision to go solar back in January 2018 it's now June 2018 and I have a 38,000 dollar system on my roof that is non functional. Solar Solutions lack communication on all ends, so the entire process is a guessing game. You'll sign paperwork and then they fill in gaps later to stuff you never agreed to on the contract, like payment draws and amounts.

You won't here from anyone for weeks and then you'll get a phone call asking for money. They want to be paid in full (if your a cash paying customer) before the job is complete. Solar solutions feels like once they place the system on your home that means, it's complete and they don't want to work with TEP to get it running. After the thousands of dollars I paid in cash to them, I found myself on the phone and on hold multiple times with TEP doing there job and their answer is " We don't have time to be on hold with the metering department" actually you should have time and that's what your getting the big bucks for.

One of the bigger blows is when my husband got a call and the guy said "we dropped the ball", "you needed a new roof before you put the panels on" that call was made after half the panels were on my roof so we're not even sure how that's going to turn out in the end. That's something you shouldn't "drop a ball on" getting an entire new roof is serious and would have added exponentially more to the overall cost of everything. Meanwhile, here I am still waiting for a FULL FUNCTIONING SOLAR SYSTEM. NOT SOME FANCY ROOF ORNAMENT

Communication was pretty good, someone was always in touch with me with what stage the install was in. It took a couple months from the start of the process to the finish but that was more due to the permits required. Solar Solutions take care of everything and you e-sign all forms. Installation looks professional.

The solar system installed is not measuring up to the power output that was claimed.

1. A complete lack of timely communication. I sent an e-mail, dated 24 May 2017, to request add'l information. I'm STILL waiting for an response. During the initial planning phase, e-mails would often go unanswered for more than 72 hours. 2. Doing things backward. SSAZ opened two solar loans for me BEFORE an engineering site visit and BEFORE a contract was signed. Re-train your consultant(s), or have some kind of a managerial oversight in place to prevent this kind of stupidity.

At the end of the day, put yourself in my shoe, what would you do? FIRED. and I'm taking my business elsewhere! UPDATE on Aug. 15, 2017: The owner of SSAZ reached out to me -- kudos for doing that. As it turned out, there was some unfortunate internal flux in staffing, so things got left behind. From our exchange, I have confidence that SSAZ will remedy the issue.

Very professional organization. Solar Solution is knowledgeable about solar net metering and billing and provided the information I needed to make my decision to proceed. Free estimate session was extremely informative. I chose SS over Solar City because they were very clear about exactly what products were being installed on my house. It was clearly a superior product, and was installed by people I could actually talk to.

Solar Solution AZ is a small family owned operation which can have its benefits and downfalls. Majority of the staff is quick to respond emails compared to others. As for the work that was provided for installation and Angela providing each of the steps that would follow they exceeded. I know this company is based out of Tucson by they work north in the valley as well. I would recommend Solar Solution AZ just tell them Nick M sent ya! :

Solar Solutions did a very professional job with the installation of my panels. I'm anxiously awaiting my first low electric bill. I would recommend them.
