We recently completed a project with Tony Trapp Remodeling and they did an excellent job in all aspects of the work. Tony Trapp Remodeling renovated the kitchen and the basement of our recently purchased 1949 Nakoma home. The kitchen was gutted to the studs, and two walls were taken down. The basement was updated, and a three-quarters bathroom was added. Miscellaneous issues elsewhere were addressed, such as installing a picture window in the dining room, and repairing ceiling cracks in the living room.

The pandemic shutdown occurred during the project, which complicated and delayed the work. We could not be happier with the renovation and with Tony Trapp. The first step in the process involved a referral to designer Dana Langreck, of Bella Domicile, who transformed our small, inefficient kitchen into a seemingly much larger space. Once the demo and construction began, a handful of structural concerns surfaced.

The crew dealt with all such issues smoothly and with practicality. Various decisions and selections were necessary along the way, and excellent advice ensued. We were thoroughly impressed with the skill and the professionalism of lead carpenter Chris Kehl and the entire crew. They obviously took a great deal of pride in their work. Further, they were nice people to have on site during a difficult time. We are so grateful. We highly recommend Tony Trapp Remodeling.

Tony Trapp Remodeling rebuilt the original porch on my 100-year-old house in Madison. They preserved the existing roof and roof trim, duplicated the original columns which had rotted away, and designed and built a slightly different porch deck and set of stairs to my specifications. The result was attractive and extremely well built and went well with my vintage home.

They also went out of their way to maintain good drainage around my house. They were timely and easy to communicate with and notified me proactively about any unavoidable small delays. Their quote was higher than the other contractors I contacted, but there were no surprise charges for unanticipated problems because they thought about everything ahead of time. I would absolutely use them again, especially for something as visible as the front entry of my house.

We really enjoyed working with the entire team. We contacted a lot of people before selecting Tony Trapp. They helped us with some remodeling projects and painting outdoors. When needing kitchen remodeling including lots of quartz countertops, new flooring plus some smaller projects, I contacted Tony Trapp Remodeling. A nice young man came to provide a quote. Not hearing back from him, my husband contacted the company for the status of our quote. A short time later, we received an email from Paul referring us elsewhere. It seems the job did not provide enough remodel work. Referred us to Caliber Custom Cabinets - funny, we had no interest in new cabinets.

This is our second review of Tony Trapp Remodeling. The fact that we called them back for another job speaks volumes! Needed a basement door made into a half door. Wow! It looks better than we imagined! Exceptional workmanship, professional and responsive workers. We will keep them on speed dial for all future projects!

Tony is a rare gem in the contractor market: honest, reliable, intelligent and competent. When my parent's home developed mold issues as a result of water damage they received lots of contradictory and questionable recommendations from several contractors. Thankfully, they stumbled upon Tony Trapp Remodeling (through his website) in their search for a quality contractor. Tony responded immediately to my parents' call and came to their home several times for extensive consultations.

He recommended a knowledgeable subcontractor to assess the mold issues and, based upon that report, presented a variety of different courses of action to resolve the issue. He even included instructions for actions my parents could undertake on their own to re-mediate the situation. It was such a relief for me to know that my parents were in good hands with Tony.
