My 28 year old HVAC unit was in urgent need of being replaced. I called Ken Mitchell who sent out a technician to diagnose the unit and evaluate the roof area for a replacement. Ken recommended a Goodman package unit as a replacement with the SEER ratings I wanted. The price was very reasonable and the unit is covered by an excellent warranty. I called on a Tuesday, the technician came on Wednesday, and the unit was installed on Friday.
In addition to the unit, a new intake grille was installed, along with 3 smoke detectors in each bedroom, and a carbon monoxide detector by the intake duct. Ken was very helpful and wanted to make sure I was informed and understood every step in the process. We appreciate Ken and Mitchell Aire employees for all they did.

I purchased a Carrier A/C from Mitchell Aire in 2004 and after over 300 error messages and 20 visits from them trying to fix the problem, they gave up. Paid 8k and for years I have had to reset the unit at least 40 times a year. They stopped coming out and left me out to dry. They should have found a solution and replaced the unit. The only option they gave me was to sue Carrier. Would never trust them ever again.

I don't think I could be more disappointed in the installation of our new air conditioner. It is not working! We had the company install a brand new unit this past Thursday. We immediately noticed that it was not working properly. When we called the company to have them come back and fix the problem, their response was "all of our service technicians are busy, and we'll be out asap". Well it is now Saturday, 100 degrees outside and we're sweltering. If the unit had been installed correctly, a service technician would not be necessary!

Mom and Dad -- folks whose priority was to always have high quality items in the family home -- had Mitchell Aire install a/c-heating equipment back in 1994. The condensing unit and furnace that Mitchell had installed back in 1994 is still up and running well -- 23 years later! One of the best parts of my experience with Mitchell Aire is this: I just emailed Mitchell Aire via their website last night, asking for a history of their work at the house, as Mom and Dad are now both deceased, and I have no paperwork on the heating/air system. (Needed paperwork for insurance purposes!) This morning, I was greeted by a VERY thorough and helpful email response from John Baird at Mitchell Aire. Seems that Mitchell Aire not only provides high-quality heat/air systems, but they also provide high quality customer service.

I just want to thank Ken Mitchell, owner of MA. He was so good about trying to help me with my decision in choosing an AC company to replace my HVAC unit in 2015. I questioned him for the wrong reasons, because 4 months later, I ended up with Steve Patrick AC and it was pretty much along the lines of what Mr. Mitchell had recommended, regarding ducting and size of unit.
He was reasonable in price, genuine in his advice, and I would highly recommend him for your AC job. The main thing that held me back is that I was set on the Trane unit and he was offering two other names that I personally did not want. Unlike VAR that made excuses, TWICE, for not getting back to me, and Lee's Aire with all their cockamanee and inflated prices and questionable rebates. Thank you Ken!
