Bob's Overhead Door Repair & Service

My husband and I have nothing but the highest praise for Bob's Overhead Doors. Bob's installed a garage door for us a couple years ago. We started having very unusual problems with it last year. They came out on multiple occasions to figure out what was wrong and find a solution. We had visits from engineers, the owner of the company and various other experts.

They did not stop until a solution was found and we were happy. The customer service was absolutely fantastic and we recommend this company highly and without hesitation. Thank you to everyone at Bob's Overhead Doors. You've been amazing!

Had two techs to the house to install a new door, track, springs, and opener. Very happy with the result. Work was done professionally. Price seemed reasonable to us for what was done. The recovering economy made the wait for a door much longer than we would have liked, but that is no fault of Bob's. Once the door was in an appointment for install was set promptly. I run a European Auto Repair facility in Middle River with one large entry/exit door into the shop. At the busiest part of the day and the busiest day of the week the door decided to break leaving us incapacitated. I called a few places and then spoke with someone from Bob's. The lady that answered the phone was extremely sweet and understanding. They sent two friendly techs out within a few hours, diagnosed the issue and had it repaired in a respectable time for an extremely reasonable price. Nice people but outrageous pricing and markup. They are the only Wayne Dalton "rep" around so we will probably change our door instead. $250 to change it $460 to fix with then.

Very pleased with Bob's. They were recommended by a friend for a torsion spring replacement. I received a quote over the phone, and the repair was completed the next day. John, the technician, was friendly, knowledgeable and quick. The door is operating better now than it was before the spring broke. Would definitely use Bob's again.

Bobs Overhead Door came out and professionally installed my bay doors. Not only do they look incredible they perform incredible. I had a tight schedule to open my new business, they came out and had these doors on my automotive repair shop installed in 0ne Day! I couldn't ask for a better company. These guys are great. It was too cold, they arrived on time, and they did a great job for me.

NOT HAPPY with the PRICE Gauging! Call and told them I needed a spring replaced and wouldn't you know they came WITHOUT the part, charged me $255.05 to tell me they have to order the part and could not give me a price to replace it at that time. Total 15 mins. max time for this! Came 4 days later and Charge another $255.05 service call and parts Total Time tor replace spring 30 mins Max and I'm being generous.

Still NO PRICE ON REPAIR! Get a bill one week later $646.05 to replace a spring. HOW CONVENIENT TO NOT HAVE PARTS AT HAND ESPECIALLY WHEN I STATED WHAT WAS BROKEN! NEVER AGAIN! SHADY? UPDATE : I asked your employee for an estimate and he stated " he doesn't give that" My problem is you double charged for service call and do not give any prices on your repair orders its a big secret till the bill comes.

I am a business owner and I always give my customers a price before any work is performed. You must admit $510.50 is an awful lot of money for a service call which took all of 40 mins total and I can verify this on my security cameras. I even had the ladder set and ready for your employees. I'm all for earning a living but this is gauging. Look below " Specialize in one trip broken spring replacements"

Quick same day service john was great he knew what the problem was right away and did a great job fixing it very reasonable charges also would definitely recommend them to anyone.

After checking the reviews I got quotes from Bobs and another company. Bobs came out and professionally quoted. Then sent an email with it in writing. The other guy was way higher and gave me the old my boss approved a discount routine. So Bobs was great. BEST company I have dealt with in years. Seriously exceeded my expectations.

These guys were both friendly and professional. I didn't feel like I had to watch over them at all. They did a little customizing to make sure the door closed as neatly as I could hope for, which required some work not discussed at the time it was quoted. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Very courteous customer service! Pleased with how promptly they came over to repair our garage door. When we continued to have the same problem occur they came back the same day we called and replaced the motor. All of this was at no charge since it's covered under the warranty. The repair men were pleasant and very professsional!

Great service. They fixed my door the same day. Very nice. Fair price. I highly recommend them.

I called them for an estimate beginning of December. I waited 2 weeks and tried again. Finally someone came out but really wasn't quite sure how to install a new overhead door or provide an estimate. The sales person said he would be back with another sales person within a week. It's now the middle of March and I have yet to even get an estimate.

Look no further if you need a new garage door or service to your existing one! We just moved recently and had an issue with an older garage door opener which had to be replaced. They did a wonderful job installing a new one. When we were at our other house we had a two car garage door replaced which they also did- it looks like it was the original from 1927. It has been so nice dealing with Gary and Casey as well!

Called Bob's Overhead to repair an old 9-foot door that I screwed up royally by trying to "fix it" myself. Don't fool around with garage door springs they can be very dangerous to your health and you may end up in the hospital, as I almost did. Technician, John N, was prompt, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and had my old wooden garage door workiing as well as when it was installed back in 1948. Service charge was reasonable. I highly recommend.

The salesman was out of town on the day I wanted someone to talk to me about a new door to replace the dented and obstinate old door. So they sent the mechanic instead. Kevin was an experienced guy who looked it over and said it was all fixable. He patiently explained the procedures and options and then said "give me a half hour". The garage door has worked just fine now over the past week.

One star off because his time was not cheap, but I definitely paid for quality work, and avoided a whole new door. It's not pretty, but the garage faces a grey, dank, rat-infested Baltimore alley, so it matters not.
