I'm a building engineer and I hired Petri Electric Service Department to change out some LED drivers. Well I overheard them talking about their service manager allowing one of their service technicians to go to all these buildings (including my own) and work around the customers while being tested positive for c o r o n a v i r u s. It's truly sad that they allow that exposure to, not only their own employees, but also their customers. I guess they're just in it for the money and only the money.

The service department is a terrible place to work. The service managers do not care about the safety of their employees & encourages them to conduct dangerous and unsafe acts. Not only that, but if you want to move up in a company, this is not the place. Especially with the service manager's son (Lars) working there. He will give his son all of the overtime, he will make sure his son has work to do the following day, and does not care if anyone else has work or not. Lars also tries to boss around well experienced journeyman & talks to them as if they just started the trade. The service manager Lance treats his employees the most disrespectful way possible and belittles them. Steer clear of Petri Electric Service Department.

Wrongfully terminates employees before actually looking into the situation. Not worth working for. They also break a lot of Osha protocols. Not good on safety. I was written up (first write up) for performing a task that i was instructed to do. So they sent me to the office. Nothing happened to the other guys. But when i went to the office and spoke to Pat, he asked me if I had made a call to the GC a couple of days prior to submit a complaint about something aside from the incident and I admitted that i did, and becuase of that he decided to fire me.
Even though, that even companies that are at-will companies don't have the right to terminate someone for reporting a work violation. That falls under "retaliation" and I will hire an attorney to look into the ENTIRE situation.
