Cortes Flooring

Miguel is an awesome resource. After my condo flooded with black water, the Turnberry towers had brought in Summit / Everest construction to do the repairs. Although I had a uniform floor throughout and there was damage in the entry way of two of the rooms Allstate/Safe Co would not cover the replacement stating that the Contractor failed to prove damages to those areas.

The contractor then pushed Las Vegas Flooring on us, and they did the 70% of the area, but left two room with the old damaged floor and they also did crap finishing at door ways. This took about 5 months for them to handle and in the end the new floor was full of messy marks and overall quality issues. When we had asked, Las Vegas Flooring wanted $16k to do the additional two rooms. ---Hell No!

I called a few of the people that were on the list, and check in the building. Needless to say while there were a few people with issues on Cortes, the bottom line was that they were making sincere efforts in there work where as people such as Las Vegas Flooring (Rip Off). First, when Miguel arrived, he immediately was able to identify the original flooring and where it was purchased. Had Las Vegas not been so pushy, I could have had close to my original floor. Next, he offered to get flooring to match the new floor for me (via Prosource) or I could purchase it on the internet and he would install it.

I ordered it from e-floors and they shipped it to my building. Being that I live most of the time in another state, it was not possible for me to be at the building to receive it, however Miguel went the extra mile for me and got it taken care of. Expect this to take months as it did with Las Vegas Flooring and to have them come out multiple times to correct their errors, Miguel's crew had the job completed in a bit less than 4 days (if you count them receiving the new floor) and much to my surprise, they had installed the new floors perfectly on the first shot and blending into the Las Vegas Flooring install (that again took months). Miguel went one step further fixing the closet that was also not done correctly, moved all my furniture out and back and managed not to damage anything. Additionally, I noted that they did not create messy dust such as Las Vegas Flooring did. Imagine that.good work can happen in Las Vegas. If you want no nonsense, a positive hardworking group that gets the job done right.call Miguel.

The Cortes Team are true professionals. Their square footage estimate was way more accurate than a big box retail installers making their estimates much more accurate (the big retailer's estimate was more than 100 sq ft over the real number). Installers took their time to make sure the job was done correctly and made helpful design recommendations. Highly recommend their team!

We feel so fortunate to have done business with Miguel and his family! He made a devastating experience end with a happy ending. We bought our home and lived in it for six mos when the downstairs veneer started buckling, 1600 sq ft. Miguel came over gave us a bid and work completed within a week. He recommended good quality materials the work crews were knowledgeable, clean, efficient and happy. We truly lucked out. Oh yes it was all at a competitive and fair price!

Alex provided a timely and very fair quote for removing our carpet in the master bathroom and replacing it with tile.

I recently returned to my Vegas condo and had a closer look at the tile work. The grout was uneven and there were spots where the grout had dried on the walls. The second crew that came to finish the job had to be nagged to not track dirt through the house and to completely clean up the mess they made in the bathroom. They took my nagging good naturedly, but it made me realize that leaving a customer's home at least as clean as they found it is not their MO.

Miguel Cortes of Cortes Flooring, Inc., was incredibly helpful and professional during my entire project. He and his team replaced carpet in three rooms, and put tile in two previously-carpeted rooms. I hadn't picked out tile or carpet before he came over for a consultation, and he put me in touch with ProSource Flooring to order my flooring.

As soon as my tile and carpet came in, Miguel had his guys there that weekend to do the install. They were efficient and fast, and did an excellent job. When we ran into a problem because the flooring company didn't order enough border tile, Miguel took me to Home Depot and Lowes to try and match the tile, and when we couldn't, came up with an awesome solution with the tile that we already had that looks amazing.

I am so happy with my new floors! Miguel and his team did an awesome job, and I would highly recommend them to anyone! *Miguel was also very cost-conscious, and worked with me to stay within my budget!
