Plumbing
Report
The city first notified north Stockton residents in 2014 that it planned to put chloramines in their drinking water. That concerned a lot homeowners who then flooded the water company with calls and tried to protest against it. Now, in 2016, their plan is finally in effect. Our water will now have chloramines (mixture of chlorine & ammonia) added as a secondary disinfectant.
Windows
Report
Windows play a large role in maintaining your home's air seal. A properly sealed home keeps out drafts, so you can stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer without the use of a heater or air conditioner. When your home is properly sealed, all of your HVAC appliances work a little less and as a result, this can help lower your monthly utility bills.
