I discussed my dryer issues in detail, that it was hot and not drying. The person on the phone said it was most likely the vents that need to be cleaned, do I want to go ahead with the appointment. I said yes, assuming vents would be cleaned by serviceman if needed. Serviceman said there was a birds nest in the vent. I said okay, but they are all clean now right?
He said no, I don't do that. So I paid $131 to move a dryer out about an inch and be told my vents need cleaning, again. The gal on the phone told me I was wrong, that although we discussed it most likely needed vent cleaning, she never said they do that (then why would I make the appt?). I gave 3 stars because they pick up the phone, showed up on time, and appear reliable.
But no stars for quality workmanship or being straight forward. How can a service provider see a problem they are there to fix, not fix it, then charge your card? I feel duped and had to call another service repair person that can actually do the job.

My oven broke right before a busy Easter holiday coming up and looked up and found Advanced. They sent out a gentleman named Clint and boy was that technician INCREDIBLE! Knowledgeable, polite and throughout! Fixed my oven at a fair price and same day! Bless Advance for all their help in desperate times

I called them to repair my refrigerator back in December of 2021 and the compressor has been replaced 2x and it still does not work. long story short I spent $700 on labor and my refrigerator still does not work. I have been calling for weeks to get to talk to a manager about a refund because I feel like I should've been told this when I paid the initial $85 service fee service.
I was told Friday by Jen that the manager is to busy to call me back and to call back Monday at 7:30am. Here it is Monday I called to talk to Manager who of course was busy but this time I insisted on holding. he denied me a refund and had the audacity to mention that the insurance paid for it. I had to remind him that the insurance paid me for repairs or to put towards a new refrigerator which I ended up buying out of pocket anyways because my food kept going bad. Smh. company is a total rip off go to someone else who cares because Advance Appliance does not

What a great company to deal with! They contacted me to give me the approximate time that morning & then touched base again as the time got closer. Wayne was quick, professional and a pleasure to deal with! He patiently answered all my questions and the price was less than I expected! Will never use a different company for my repairs!

I do recommend Advance for their knowledge. My only complaint is that for $120 service fee charged. Apparently the issue with my washing machine is so common, he had to just spin the drum. Total of 10 minutes. Maybe. (Which seriously made me question my vocation and life path). The cost of the repair was not worth it (as I could buy another for that cost).

We have had excellent work done by several employees of Advance Appliance. Each has been courteous, professional, experienced. They have diagnosed and fixed a Bosch dishwasher, GE microwave, Wolf cook top and now a Maytag dryer. The tech who fixed the microwave went out of his way to replace a coupler instead of an entire new motor--saving us $hundreds.
