Founding partners Charles Connell and Oliver Melson began the company in 1938, based on the guiding principle of providing the best service at an honest price. Mr. Connell and Mr. Melson enlisted in the military to serve our country in WW II, leaving the company in the capable hands of Mrs. Connell until her husband's return.Those founding principles are still honored today by owner Kelley Connell and every employee - most of whom have been with the company for many, many years.
