RDN Plumbing was founded in the spring of 1976. I first set up shop in a single car garage in Swissvale, PA. Approximately two years later in 1978, the shop was relocated to a two story 24 x 24 building located on Andrew Street in Munhall, the "Heart of the Steel Valley". Then in 2005 we moved to a 6000 square foot facility at 1060 Forest Avenue, West Homestead, PA, still in the "Heart of the Steel Valley".This central location has enabled us to successfully serve our customers in parts of 9 counties, with direct dispatch of trucks, equipment, and all services. As the years progressed, I have gained a widely diverse background in the plumbing industry and so have the Plumbing Technicians who have worked for me.

The way a company handles problems with a job is as much a reflection of its integrity as when things go well. We had a decent experience with RDN initially, but then on a recent valve replacement job that took no more than an hour (but cost us a whopping $600!), the diverter piece was faulty and did not work. We had to wait a week with a. non-working shower for the replacement part to be fixed.
I complained (very kindly!) to the company, saying that I understood it was a faulty piece and not the plumber's fault but that he should have tested it before leaving and I requested a partial refund. I normally test things before a contractor leaves, but I had my newborn baby with me and could not. For NINE WEEKS they kept promising to get back to me about a partial refund--which isn't a lot to ask given the circumstances--but will not call back or follow up.
Guess they don't mind losing a lifetime customer over a couple hundred bucks. So, you might have an OK experience once, but if anything goes wrong they will ignore you. Go elsewhere!

In my 40 years of being a home owner and experiencing many plumbing issues, I have never been so impressed with this company. Every aspect of their service is amazing. From the very first call back to the finished repair. The messaging from dispatch that allows interaction between client and technician is, sounds silly.but is comforting. They. actually answer the phone and are so kind and yet very effective in helping and guiding you through the process.
I truly will not ever have anyone else help me with repairs of any plumbing issues. This really seems like a well planned and mission inspired company that is actually hands on with every aspect of your repair. It reminds me of when.

My sewer was backed up and clogged. I have insurance from the water company. I called them and was wondering who would they send? We were so lucky to get RDN plumbing. They were honest, knowledgeable and took the time to educate me about how to keep my sewage line clean. JT and Rege are great guys. I will be calling them again!
