My new windows are beautiful! While it did take long for the windows to come in (due to issue with transportation during Covid), the sales rep was very communicative and keeping me updated throughout the whole process. Once the windows did come in, installation was quick! Service: Window installation

The windows in my house has colonial style trim work - white outside, dark walnut inside. It had been very difficult to find windows with different color on the inside and out, but I'm delighted with the windows from HomeStar. They are laminate, not wood, on the inside, but they have a wood grain finish which matches my trim perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the appearance.

The window design allows for easy cleaning, which I appreciate. The crew who installed them worked efficiently and quietly and cleaned up thoroughly after they finished. I will be sure to call HomeStar next time I need a service they provide.

Very unprofessional installation, poor quality windows and non responsive. Having issues with two windows not closing properly from the get go. Spent 10+K on 11 windows and they are no better than any lower quality windows you buy anywhere else for few hundred dollars. I was contacting them for more than a year now. They send three people to my house during this time the first two time they tried unsuccessfully and took measurement again and said they come with proper tool and then they disappeared.

After long time last person showed up said he has to take measurement again since last two person left with no action on this. He then said these window frames have manufacturing defects and need to be replaced. He has to order those and they will be in shortly so he left the window without proper caulking. I have been calling them for about last since Feb regarding these and have been told that some one from field service group will contact me soon.

Not sure what soon means since it is four month already and my windows are not fixed or to the least not caulked properly. Very bad experience and am very frustrated. I should have give them zero star if I could. Imtiyaz Khan

We like to thank Homestar for a very professional and on-time job, keeping within budget. We are first time customers doing roof installation for our secondary home. Brittany was to the point in explaining what we needed, and would accommodate our request to the porch roof only that was currently leaking and suiting our tight budget. She helped expedite the work.

Then Brian took over and had it quickly scheduled. The team came on time and Brian got the best match of color with the current shingles(the house is more than 50 years old!). They did a good job, starting and completing the work on schedule, and cleaned up all debris afterwards. He did come for a post job inspection and only then collected our check.

We didn't have to make any advance payments. Finally, Rob came for a second inspection after about couple weeks and finally signed off on the project. We will be happy to refer Homestar for any neighbors and all our future roof, and other works! Thank you again!

Homestar Remodeling has been the best company I have worked with on my internal and external constructing project. They are responsive when I call, on time for all appointments, and communicate often during the project. I highly, highly, recommend them for any service. TERRIBLE! This company advertises that they are "family owned" and they care about their customers - This was not our experience at all. We signed up for services with them, very excited to update our house and then a tornado came through Montgomery county in September 2021 and we were displaced from our home. This company was not understanding, didn't care about our unfortunate circumstance, AND charged us a fee for having to pull out of the original contract.

I'm glad to hear other people have had nice encounters with this company and I hope we are in the minority with our terrible experience. We prefer to work with companies that care about us and our home - not just the money.

We had our roof installed by HomeStar. The entire process went very well. The quote process was painless and very well explained, then the install was exceptionally efficient and completed within a single day. During the entire install, we were in contact and kept up to date of all the additional boards that were needed. We didn't find a single nail after the cleaned up and left.

We've had the roof for over a year at this point without any issues. We've contacted HomeStar once afterwards about a potential concern from potential storm damage and they came right out to inspect it, free of charge. They're great to work with and I highly recommend them.

I had a front door installed with a storm door. My job was difficult due to the door threshold, but Harry and Renee did a wonderful job and made sure to keep me in the loop regarding the issues. They cleaned up nicely and were very professional. However, the door came in 3 months late. I would have liked more communication about the timeline for when the door was supposed to arrive. Joe came out for a final inspection before closing the job and reassured me that they are aware and working on making customer communication better. I will certainly recommend Homestar to friends and family and will be a repeat customer when the time comes.

I had the pleasure of getting a behind the scenes look at how HomeStar Remodeling runs their business. While visiting my sister (one of their top employees) recently, I worked a couple days out of their office. I saw top-notch leadership, a deep sense of teamwork and a desire to truly help their customers. Seeing that made me wish they had an office in our state. and they nearly sold me on the best siding I think I've ever seen. I'm still thinking about getting it someday.

We had 16 windows and 1 sliding glass door replaced after 21 years with new construction, builders grade windows. Erik was our Sales Rep that took us through all the features and benefits on the windows we selected and showed us the differences and what our expectations should be. Scheduling was easy enough with aligning our schedules and Carly was very responsive to calls and questions that i had on the process and helped us easily with setting up the times times that worked with our schedules.

The 2 person job took 3 days and was executed very well for we knew what to expect. Yuri and Vlad were great with the professionalism they showed while working through to completion and the attention to detail was great in seeing the overall finished job. It was easy to see they were experienced working in tandem, knew exactly what was needed to be done and showed confidence with the task at hand which was very reassuring. The window installation was perfect. Uri and Vlad were professional, clean and efficient. The job was done in 3.5 days and we noticed a difference right away with the AC keeping the house cool. This is an update to the first review I left prior to the roof installation. I have to apologize for not mentioning our salesman (Alex). He was extremely thorough and informative about the complete project details and product. Unfortunately, the color of the upgraded siding we picked had been discontinued. We all realize the issues with manufacturing during these stressful times, so we know how difficult it is to break that bad news to their customers.

Once notified by Homestar (Austin was very apologetic), Alex was scheduled within 2 days to show us the color pallets. He came out with everything he had to make sure my wife and I could make the right choice. Now back to the roof. Everything was outstanding, from the scheduling to installation. The installers were awesome, and cleaned our property after the installation (fabulous job).

The roof alone makes our house look 100 times better. We can't wait for the siding, gutters and trim capping to be installed. We will definitely keep you updated. Please see the before and after pics.

All around great experience, from the initial sales pitch, the consultation and measuring, to the actual install. Original measurement on one window was off, had to re-measure and come back a second time, but the staff was very apologetic and crafted a brand new window for me that fit perfect.

There is nothing bad I can say about the job that HomeStar Remodeling did. The installers came out on a Saturday and were here by 8 AM to start the work. They were gone and done everything by 12:30. I have already started to recommending them to friends and family.

They made sure that I understood the materials that would be going into my home. I think that Homestar has taken some of the primary assets of other window makers and combined them to make a singular superior product. The installation went very smoothly.

HomeStar installed my new roof recently and my wife and I are very pleased with the results. The work crew did an outstanding job from arriving on time, to answering all our concerns, to an exceptional clean up of our yard and driveway.

The installation went quickly and the clean up was good. There was no broken glass, and they made sure to vacuum all of the carpets.

If I could rate 4 1/2 that would be my rating. The guys you have to get are Steve and Ross. They are the A+ team. You can tell guys are great at what they do, when they can talk to you and you become more knowledgeable about something you don't know.

HomeStar was great. They put in new windows and a new patio door. The workmanship was amazing and very fast. The guys who did the job were awesome and super nice. We will be using them again for our other windows and we would definitely recommend them to anyone else.

We got a new sliding glass door from HomeStar and the process was very good. The installation was very fast, it only took about 2 hours!

Homestar is a fantastic company! Anton, one of the owners, did an inspection and gave us an honest appraisal of the condition of the roof - consistent with what we already knew. He then did a stellar presentation on his laptop computer explaining in detail all aspects of the roofing job.

Brain Dempsey is awesome! He was like no sales person I have ever had come out before. He was on time, looked very professional and did a great job on our estimate. But above all else he was a very cool guy it felt like we were talking with a friend we have known for year's.
