Green Thumb

DSL Builders LLC, Started using them in August 2021 - One year contract. Everything was good up until about two months ago. Crew comes weekly and was not performing according to contract. Contacted Libby Manning (our sales representative) several times and she/they were not willing to correct. She then terminated the contract and gave me 30 days notice.

Guess she thought I was complaining too much. All I was expecting was for them to perform according to the contract. Not very professional, would not even call me to discuss. In addition, they tried to increase our prices 5-6 months before our one year contract was up, i.e., did not want to live up to their promised one-year commitment/contract pricing. Untrustworthy comes to mind.

Libby was understanding of my new business and the need to get me a fresh look on the outside of the building. Her crew showed up on he same day I;scheduled the full front of the business to be signed. The crew worked around the other company and was very professional about losing a little time here and there. They did great work and great cleanup!

After reviewing many landscape companies we chose Scott Friedman, GT Landscaping Solutions. From the first meeting Scott showed more interest and spent quality time with my wife and I reviewing our front and side yard landscaping ideas. He was engaging, clearly understanding our vision, answering all questions. In days GT Landscaping submitted a completely detailed landscaping services estimate, delineating each areas scope, listing all materials, suppliers, listing plants by name and size, most everything supported with pictures.

The landscaping plan and execution was exceptional and I'm sure will result in a lifetime of enjoyment. The GTL team were fantastic! Always on time, always kind and friendly. I would highly recommend them for design, install, and maintenance to those who are particular and want outstanding service.

Green Thumb just completed a large backyard renovation project for us and we couldn't be more happy. From the bid process all the way through completion I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, communication, and willingness to listen to our needs. Scott was great to work with, and offered the most complete bid of the three that we received from local landscape companies.

Our project included tear out and removal of existing sod, re-grading and improving drainage in our backyard, installing new sod and several plants and trees, and the construction of a 10X20 foot cedar pergola. The crew that completed our project was excellent, under the direction of crew leader Moises. They worked hard every day through the May heat spell, and left the job site clean every day. Moises communicated with me every step of the way to ensure that we were happy, and on the same page.

Everything turned out better than we could have expected. Our neighbors were so jealous, they were peaking over the fence and asking the crew about the project all week. I would definitely work with Green Thumb again.

Pavers to enlarge our patio, river rock with rainbow cobble accent, and a nice stepping stone pathway from back yard to front. Beautiful yard and we are loving it. Scott knew what we wanted and Moses and his crew made it happen. GT gets an unqualified 5 stars from us.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. When I first moved to Salem, I had a broken sprinkler connection problem. After several unreturned calls from a few local companies and getting, the runaround from one that did come by, Green Thumb landscaping came through. Not only was the person who showed up attentive to my needs, he also went above and beyond to look at the whole system and fix a few other problems that I didn't even know were there.

I was kept informed the whole time and when I could not be there I was sent picture of the work. Because of this, I chose to have them to work on my front landscaping, which was destroyed over winter. Johnny was so helpful and the crew doing the work were phenomenal! I do love the personal attention I get from Green Thumb. Although there may be an occasion where it seems a bit more costly than the "other guys" The end results and personal attention, to me make it worth it. They do provide quality workmanship. They have my trust. I know that if I am not satisfied or something is not right they will make it right.

Donald and his crew did a great job on our back yard project. They turned it from an usable mud pit into a beautiful backyard we can be proud of and show off to friends and family. They are doing the front yard next and we can't wait. I would highly recommend them for your yard needs.

I wanted to extend my current sprinkling system and asked for bids. Donald with Green Thumb was one of the contractors I called. He was here on time; was very professional and pleasant; and is the only contractor that looked at the area involved and measured before leaving. Their bid came in with the most detail and $600 less than the other professional bid I received.

Stephanie, I have mentioned it on the phone in the past, but just wanted to again pass along a quick note about the crew. I have really appreciated their hard work and am very happy that they were able to complete Phase One of the JHSN Irrigation System Improvements project ahead of schedule. Their hard work, efficiency, and good sense of humor has made the project fun to oversee.

We recently hired Green Thumb and they did a great job on the clean up prior to starting. I've worked with Johnny Burrows in the past while he was with another company and sought him out again.
