I had a water main leak and Fairfax water told me I'm responsible. Communication with Gary the boss man was easy and quick. I called to have my master bathroom toilet unclogged. They were able to have someone out same day. Adam was personable. He was able to clear the blockage after removing the toilet and snaking the main line. He even ran a mini camera at no charge to identify the cause of the clog. It is actually a backgraded that was causing the problem and provided an estimate on the cost to repair the issue permanently and indicated it did not have to be done right away but without repair the drain will eventually clog again.

Pipe Doctor was 1 of 3 that I had reached out to for a quote for a waterline replacement/repair. Gary came out, shared his thoughts and in the end probably saved me a ton of money. The quote given was well below the other 2 and Gary is an out the box thinker to ensure that there was minimal impact to my yard and driveway where the work was being done. Gary and his crew were outstanding, professional, and timely. I would recommend them!

Adam showed up on time and was fantastic- he immediately identified our problem, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and fixed it the same day. Adam was fantastic! He went above and beyond when he came to replace our kitchen faucet. He recommended that he check the old faucet to see if it was salvageable before we spend extra money to replace it. Then he noticed there was a leak at our main shut-off valve and gave us some options for getting it fixed. He even popped up to our shower to check on a heat/cold issue. He was super professional, friendly and we'll definitely call him again. He also has a really dope beard that my husband is super jealous of!

What a great experience! Scheduling was a breeze; and the plumber, Owen, arrived on time, well within the window after a call that he was on his way. I originally scheduled them to install a touchless kitchen faucet I had purchased; when he was here, I inquired about replacing the garbage disposal and then he noted some issues with my current kitchen sink traps (which were clear to see when he pointed them out). Owen was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional; and he immediately flexed from my initial faucet installation request to add the other two items to the scope. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the service. Owen did a great job and I'll definitely reach back out to The Pipe Doctor for future plumbing needs!

Very courteous customer service and was able to get help quickly. Our plumber was prompt, polite, had impressive facial hair, and very quickly assessed and fixed the issue. He also went so far as to thoroughly clean up his workspace after and made sure that I was satisfied with both the service and the cleanliness. The price was quoted in advance and there were no surprises. Would absolutely use Pipe Dr again if the need arose, and would request our same technician Adam.

Had a first time service call from Pipe Doctor today. Our main water shut off valve developed a heavy leak this morning. Pipe Doctor got here the same day I contacted them. Their tech, Owen was polite and professional. I'm a VA licensed Home Inspector, so I scrutinize plumbing work on a daily basis. He did an excellent job! My wife and I will call Pipe Doctor, and see if Owen is available the next time we have a plumbing issue.

Brandon and Luis came out to replace some pipes at my house this morning. They displayed great professionalism and confidence which alleviated all of my concerns and did a fantastic job! 5 stars!

Without any drain slow downs or other warnings our kitchen sink suddenly became clogged. We tried plunging the crap out of it to no avail so resigned ourselves to calling a plumber. Pipe Doctor responded quickly and said they could come that day. Wayne gave us an estimate to unclog the drain and redo the drain under the sink that had been installed improperly.

The clog turned out to be a real challenge with issues getting the snake to go down instead of up into the vent pipe. When his snake broke Wayne called Adam to assist and eventually they had to go up on the roof to snake down through the vent pipe. After several hours of work the job was done and we paid the bill for the original reasonable estimate. Great job by the Pipe Doctor team all around.

I discovered a clogged drain and broken garbage disposal in my new home and The Pipe Doctor sent a plumber promptly. Adam was knowledgeable, cleared the clog, and repaired the disposal. I would hire these guys again. Also, Adam's beard inspires credibility in his expertise.

Fantastic plumbing services. Brandon and Shawn came in and quickly fixed our regulator valve. They cleanly connected everything back to our older pipes and left little mess. They had very reasonable pricing as well. They also advised us on other possible improvements that we may need to make in the future that they noticed without pressuring us into doing them all now. We will definitely be returning to them again for our plumbing needs.

Overpriced. I called Pipe Doctor to fix a loose kitchen faucet handle that was leaking, because my usual plumber was unavailable. I knew it was a most a few parts in the handle. They were on time. The plumber said I needed a whole new faucet, he had one, and it would be $600. I said no. So he said he'd have to order the part but it would take 6 weeks. Again, no.

Then he said he had to get an Allen wrench from the truck to check it out further. He comes back, flips off the cover, literally tightens a screw, and is done in 5 minutes. The leak was indeed fixed, and now a month later it is still great. However, I was charged $300 for the 10 minute privilege. The plumber gave me an uneasy feeling, so I didn't even try to argue; I just wanted him out of my house. Also it took an entire month for the check to clear. Call them if no one else is around.

We have had excellent service with The Pipe Doctor! They arrive on time & are very helpful and professional. They have fixed many of our plumbing issues in our house - clogged drains, replaced a toilet, installed a new faucet, removed a laundry room sink & fixed a leaking pipe. Wayne and Gary are great!

So a simple kitchen faucet replacement doesn't sound like a big deal, but the way the previous owner of my home had the cabinet, counter, and sink installed, there was so much interference that a contractor I had doing other work wouldn't even attempt a faucet replacement without ripping out the whole sink. The guys at the Pipe Doctor were able to remove some of the interference and replace the faucet in just a couple of hours without otherwise tearing everything out. Definitely a huge improvement!

Shawn was awesome. The first time Gary came he was awesome, but after the first visit my voicemails went unanswered unless I called again. Gary was very unprofessional, he was rude and dismissive. I left him a voicemail asking for an earlier appointment date, when I didn't hear back I assumed the appointment was still on, it wasn't until I called him (30 minutes passed our appointment time) that he claimed to have left me several voicemails, and texts. Claims he called me several times without hearing from me.

However during this time I got calls, voicemails, and texts from anyone else who attempted to reach me. He cancelled my appointment time all together. He continued to place the blame on me, even though in my voicemail I specifically said that if the earlier date couldn't be done then our original scheduled appointment would be fine. He just continued to tell me how I was wrong, and talked to me like I was an inconvenience, it was only after I asked him "what next" that he offered any resolution.

If it weren't for Shawn, I would definitely have given a much worse review. Shawn deserves 5+ stars. Even after installation he followed up within an hour, as promised, and quickly came back when the water wasn't hot after an hour (gas gauge issue, not his fault). He was professional, and courteous. He was educated and informative. If I can work directly with Shawn every time then I will use them in the future.

This is the company my home warranty company sent out. They came out very prompt to see what the problem was. Had the parts ordered by the warranty company and were back to install it a few days later. Shawn was a true professional, clearly experienced and did an excellent job. I would recommend them any time. In fact, I will call them the next time I need work done regardless of warrantied or not.

We noticed water leaking from our elderly water heater, and based off of these reviews my husband and I called Gary to do a replacement. We sent him photos of the space and our townhouse so he knew the logistics involved, and he gave us a quote over the phone. It included the basic replacement of our 40gal electric tank water heater with a new one ($750 deal from Angies list) plus another $150 to update the water valve.

He came on time, was nice to talk to, finished on time, and there were no hidden charges.

Note: even though the reviews were good, I have a policy of getting at least quotes from at least 3 vendors, and I did my own research on the water heater that Gary recommended. I was able to verify that the model he recommended was a good one and that his price was also good. He also gave good advice on maintenance since he knows the local water system, which was more applicable than what I read on the internet. Would highly recommend.

Gary was great! I wish I had called him first. Instead I tried to get three other plumbers to come out and all three were straight no shows. Gary, however, was responsive, polite, and swift. After moving into a new home we discovered some water pressure issues. Gary advised us that the pressure valve was relatively new and did not need to be replaced; but merely adjusted.

This saved us several hundred dollars of cost. He also offered to go from faucet to faucet in the house to remove or adjust flow regulators as needed. This ensured that we had exactly the pressure we wanted in each room. I would highly recommend The Pipe Doctor to anyone.
